All restaurants excellent food, beautiful place but ,
suites are not clean is not up to standars as 5 stars Hotel .I found a lot dicrepancies hairs, stain in pillows ,no pillow protectors, stain mattress protector also housekeeper cleaning with regular linen .
I was 4 nights and they never put fresh amenities.
Oh MY! What a vacation, year after year, it gets better and better. When we are going to the airport, I start getting really excited. Would live there if I could! Maybe I will?
Beautiful relaxing resort. All staff are wearing masks
On 6/21/18, We were approached at the airport about going to a "meeting" where they try to sell vacations and in return I was to receive a massage for two, tequila, money for taxi back to my hotel, and money for a taxi from my hotel to the airport when my trip was done. His name was fransisco and was very helpful.
On 6/22/2018 we want here via cab. The meeting was nice and the place is gorgeous. It took way longer than it was supposed to however. Nicole was the person that did our "meeting" she was very knowledgeable and friendly until we told her no the price was to high for us. Her demeanor changed and was not quite as bubbly as before.
We went to travel guys to get what was promised to us. We received 500 pesos, our massage which was scheduled for two hours later, and a bottle of tequila. I explained we were suppose to receive more for a trip downtown but would like to go back to our hotel. They gave us 150 pesos more.
The massage was phenomenal and we returned to our hotel which was pretty far away. The total 650 pesos did not cover the cab ride. Our trip concluded on 6/24/18. This is when we realized we had not been given a voucher or money for our cab ride to the airport. I contacted the man from the airport (his name was Fransisco/Paco). He reached out to the hotel and they blatantly lied and said they gave us 1000 pesos more after our massage. After our massage we ordered an uber and left. We never spoke with anyone. Fransisco offered to pay for my cab with his own money. I declined because this wasn't his fault.
My issue is their unwillingness to help and then blatantly lie about what they did. I am sure this resort is fantastic as the views and rooms are beautiful. Just know the type of people you are dealing with are willing to lie after becoming sour you didn't buy 15 or 30 years of vacations.
Excelent service, good acommodations, and the food was to good
This place is luxurious from top to bottom. It is sparkling clean and the staff are super friendly. The access to the beach was easy and there was plenty of room to grab a chaise lounge and umbrella. The waiters came frequently and didnt let the drinks go dry.
Very nice resort! The staff team is very courteous. I took 1 Star off because the Front Desk gave me a used, wrinkled, envelope for the room key, with my room number written on a white out area. It was a bit concerning is it was my first time staying at this property, and they handled the moment of Truth in such manner.
Garza Blanca is a wonderful, awesome resort. Accommodations, food, atmosphere, were all amazing!!!
Have enjoyed everything about this place. The pools, beach, and restaurants are great.
The infrastructure of the place is incredible and the beach is very beautiful although small. Really peaceful.
Very good service, excellent food and above all very warm, congratulations to all the staff who do their best to serve us.
Let me start off by telling you that this place is advertised as a timeshare in PVR and if you are lured in by their 75 minute showing that comes with added gifts then you will be set up for major disappointment. The Garza Blanca estate is stunning for sure however it is the people that are hired to buy into the timeshare that bring the place down. We took a tour of the place thinking that we would be given certain gifts and our salesman did not live up to his promises. Instead of a 75 minute tour it was more like 140 minutes. The salesman promised us a promotional rate for a mini yacht and what we really received was a fishing boat. We negotiated a trip to Las Marietas and when we got on the boat they claimed that we just were going fishing. We were promised alcohol and beverages on the boat but instead we were told to purchase the alcohol and beverages ourselves. The salesman told us that we would get reimbursed for this purchase if we signed the receipts and we never received any of our money back. In fact, I am still looking to find a representative from the resort that will speak to me regarding this reimbursement since I already submitted all the receipts on the purchase of alcohol and beverages.
I loved.
There are not enough words to describe it.
The service was very good, the people who work at the hotel were excellent, the food took little time but it was worth it, it was delicious, the sea with few waves and some stones but it did not matter, I like the sea however it is, There were many beautiful animals and plants, the room we asked for it was great, it was incredible, the maids fold the towels very father, the bathrooms very modern and parents, the papers to clean well rolled up, the pool was very fun and large, the view was beautiful. I would give it 5 stars.
This hotel has been the best I have been to, thank you very much for everything.
I'll be back later. (:
I only have 3 questions, to see if they answer them.
1._Do you accept dogs?
2._Were the pool and the sea "open" 24 hours a day?
3._Is it possible to reserve from the computer?
Thank you!
Excellent place. Very good atmosphere. The wonderful pool. The food not so good. The buffet 2, 3. The excellent service. very nice rooms. Price somewhat expensive. But it's worth a weekend in this place.
A very beautiful beach is a shame that the hotel development is trying to privatize access
Beautiful resort. Amazing pools with views. Private beach. Delicious restaurants.
I have to say this is by far the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The hotel itself is unreal and the rooms are outstanding and I love Vallarta and travel here often. However the service does not live up to the class of the place. Food takes forever to arrive waiters seem stressed and under trained. The concierge was rude and unhelpful after we refused to take their timeshare tour. Its very sad as otherwise the resort is perfect. BUT PLEASE WORK ON YOUR SERVICE I WANT TO COME BACK!!!!!
This is a beautiful hotel resort with plenty of amenities to satisfy even the most demanding guests. My family and I visited this resort in March 2019 after staying at the Mousai for our 25th anniversary.
Garza Blanca itself is amazing whether you go with an all inclusive package or not, with a variety of restaurants to choose from within the resort and local restaurants within a taxi/Uber to trolly 10-15 minutes away.
My rating here is based on what I consider to be deception on the part of the hotel's marketing department. They forgot to mention that they are building a new hotel across tower 4 & 5, with construction equipment noise from before 8:00 am to after 5:00 pm.
This being a very expensive resort, it should be obvious to them to make mention of that very important detail since no one goes on an expensive vacation to to have an unsightly construction site and noise right across from your hotel window. Oh. And in case you are wondering, the new rower is part of the Garza Blanca resort, not another hotel chain.
If not for the omission as represented above, this is 5-star hotel I would highly recommend and would gladly visit again.
Beautiful resort, friendly staff, and beautiful ocean views, but at times noisy with sounds of equipment and chain saws buzzing all day. Also, concierges are there to sell you time shares. They are very charming and good at what they do so unless you know you want to buy a timeshare, just smile and say "No, gracias!". They will offer you some kind of gift for taking the tour, like tickets to an evening excursion. Our friends did it. We'll hear back from them later. Sales reps from Vidanta, the real estate company, accosted is before we even got out of the airport, plied us with Tequila shots, and tried to sign us up for an excursion if we agree to let them take us to their property and listen to their pitch. We didn't go, but later we heard that they keep you all day while they try to sell you. Don't fall for it.
Wonderful place of dream experience without a doubt the best place
The place ever!! We have stayed here both with and without kids and both stays were absolutely fantastic. The service is impeccable! The best part about it with the kids is the KIDS CLUB! Its free and they have amazing activities for them during the day. Very educational and fun!
It is a place that offers many activities including GM for nice
I'll be back for my 50th Birthday Celebration, ownership definitely has it's benefits!
This vacation was amazing and if you ever have enogh money you should go to mexico porta viurta
Excellent hotel is an experience to enjoy cacacipnes in this place
You get pampered from the time you get there, till the time you leave. And the staff is numeral uno.
The views (if you book the proper room) and the service are great! The criticisms are EVERY restaurant needs reservations for dinner and they seem to push you to 9PM if you do not book in advance. The food is ok to good but not extraordinary. Very good alcohol choices. If you go with the all inclusive plan you are well covered, but you are left guessing if there will be extra charges - there typically aren't any. The pools get a but busy and there is no "adult only" pool, which is quite frustrating. Hiroshi is billed as the "best" restaurant but I found it faux pretentious and only ok in regards to quality. Additionally, the night I visited they had no air conditioning to speak of and many dinners were visibly sweating. Overall I did enjoy my stay but it in no way was 5 stars. I felt like whole a lot of staff did everything to help (bartenders, wait staff, etc.), the concierges and people you needed to take it to the next level only put up roadblocks and frequently said no, or sorry I can not help you.
Its location is beautiful, next to the ocean. The activities are great fun, and the service is excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have a great view.
Great vacation at Graza Blanca. All the staff were wonderful and the food from all the restaurants was 1st class. Room was huge and really well equipped. Really enjoyed the activities too. The trek to the waterfall and morning kayaking were both memorable.
Awesome. Almost paradise. Very friendly staff. Beautiful location. What can I say? We love it. That's why we bought into the time share.
We've been to many all inclusive resorts and while this resort is not specifically sold as an all inclusive far as we understand, I must say its service is way above many. You're made to feel that your #1 here , this is our experience. We have to thank Alex at the Italian restaurant for making our three night in a row visit at the restaurant better each night. Keeping our wine glass full and making sure that we were happy as each night went on. The food was so tasty we have no complaints to offer, try the Chicken Marcela. While at the pool Ricardo made sure we were well taken care of, he had a specialty coffee made for my wife and also ensured that my drinks were fill as required.
We ate twice at Bocados Steak house which was also perfect, steaks cooked perfectly to order and even the asparagus was just right, best I've ever had, plus you can't beat the view. We were in room 4091B, this I feel was a great room with awesome view, Ultra Panoramic room they call it. Building 4 is your best bet during the construction, it did not bother us at all.
Dont be put off by my cons, it's a great place to stay for food , accommodations and service.
Pros
Service
Food quality
Location
View
Facilities
Friendly and helpful beach staff
Premium alcohol
Cons
Construction only if your affected based on room placement
Having to sign the bill even though you're all inclusive - just a small con.
Road noise.
No nightly entertainment if your looking for that to be part of your holidays.
I had the most absolute worst experience at Garza Blanca. I was there for a presentation with a salesperson named Omar/Olavarrio. From the start, it was all very informal, unprofessional, and high pressure. A breakfast was included during the presentation and during that time, Olavarrio talked about his personal issues with not being able to find a girlfriend and said that he felt all women were immature and manipulative. The breakfast dragged for 45 minutes on without any information about the hotel and we were concerned about time because it was supposed to be 75 minutes in total. After breakfast, Olavarrio showed us a few different suites and didn't give us any valuable information, we basically walked in and walked out. I would've appreciated more effort into this time as this is what we would've been spending our money on. On our way to one suite, we passed by a female sales rep and Olavarrio said "That sales rep is so hot, I'd love to have her but she's a b*tch." My partner and I looked at each other and both uncomfortably laughed because we were shocked. We finally got back to the main office and were expecting to be done soon because by that time, we spent a total of two hours which was well over the 75 minute presentation that was told to us. Olavarrio sat us down and pitched to us various options for another 30 minutes and we explained to him multiple times that we needed time to think before making any purchasing decisions. He continued to try to sell to us further until I kindly asked him when he was expecting the presentation to be done. This really set him off and he raised his voice and said "DON'T TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB." My partner and I were shocked. He then made some rude comments about wasting his time and accused us of being disrespectful so I said we told him that it was time for us to leave. When I got up from my chair, he told me "you need to sit back down and do what I say." I was horrified and felt like I was being held hostage. After that, I asked an employee who walked by us to help us find our way out because we felt extremely uncomfortable. I would NEVER recommend Garza Blanca or anyone based on my terrible experience with Omar/Olavarrio.
It is a beautiful and paradisiacal place where whenever God allows me I will arrive !!!
Absolutely love this place. Five diamond location. Beach and sand is immaculate. Service is top notch.
Gorgeous! Just look at the pictures. And we had a 1br 2ba kitchenette, with laundry, & dishwasher. Service was "excellente" food was cool, buffet style all 3 meals, plus a steak house, and some smaller venue. The pool was always warm, with activities for the kids, massages, bars, with servers, and a pool side snack bar. And that's just the smaller units in towers 2/3, while towers 4/5 sat up top, with more pools, the tennis courts, and sports /rec. We attended a wedding with our 6 year old daughter, and 101 other guests. They accommodated us well. And seemed to keep everyone else attended to as well. Even during a pool party. The only reason for the 1 missing star , because my phone worked well outside of room, but inside not so. The only option around this is buy their internet for $10/day and device. Meaning each device costs $10. And the other qualm was the guest bathroom was rather small, and few minor things like widening the shower door drain to accommodate for a wet open door. Besides that, the hammocks on the big, ceiling fanned patio are comfortable, weather was hot. Also, sidebar, don't get suckered into the cheap at rates, or the body snatchers at the airport. There are great perks to seeing them but make sure you have time to spend and you don't have to buy.
My wife and I stayed in June and came back In December to get married. Roberto at Bocados Steakhouse made sure our family's dinner was unforgettable. Zarely Segura did a fantastic job in helping plan our wedding and making sure everything went smoothly. We look forward to many stays here in the future.
I loved it, nice atmosphere, good treatment and magnificent view.
We had a nice visit with all inclusive package, but the resort ruined it all on check out. We were delighted to hear the all inclusive ran until noon since our airport shuttle didn't leave until 1, so we went out to the pool and ordered food and drinks until 11:50am. When the check came, we were told the food wasn't included for some reason and to speak with the front desk. We did so, and the front desk person told us we were lying and we hadn't ordered the food until 12:30 (when we asked for the bill). I explained the situation again and he refused to believe me, told me it was impossible, and i was a liar. I have never been treated so poorly at any hotel ever! My last afternoon at this hotel was having the staff insult me and call me a liar. I do NOT recommend it, they will ruin your relaxing vacation by giving you the worst experience on check out.
Tough to beat this place for an inclusive resort on the Pacific. A little outside of town, which can be good or bad depending on how you want to spend your vacation. Staff are consistently helpful and friendly and polite. Food is varied and good (not the same buffet everywhere). Beach is great, pools are great and I have heard the spa is amazing.
Beautiful! The water is transparent and you can see the fish!
What a wonderful vacation. Beautiful rooms, amazing service, and an exquisite location. On the quiet and and away from town. The beach feels private and is in a nice cove which makes swimming and wading easy. The food was good but really it is the staff. Every single person was simply awesome. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and obviously loved their job. Will be back!
My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary with Garza Blanca Preserve Resort in Puerto Vallarta and all I can say is, "Wow! What an awesome time we had. truly special. I've only been at a 5 diamond resort only once, but I must say it was an amazing experience. Loved the staff and how friendly and helpful they all were. We honestly felt like royalty thanks them, as you could tell they wanted only to make our experience one to remember forever. I must admit that I was a little nervous going to Puerto Vallarta as I do not speak Spanish very well at all, but was extremely pleased at the fact that almost everyone speaks English inside of the resort and outside
The rooms, faculty, amenities, and sceneries were second to none. The excursions that are offered are enough to keep you busy for those who don't just want to hang out at the hotel and will keep your days full of activities in addition to those offered at the resort. We did the boat tour to Yelapa (a beautiful fishing village only accessable by boat built into the mountains...which is a must!) Where along the journey there were two additional stops for kayaking, diving, swimming with sea lions, snorkeling, beaching, hiking, with photo ops. Of our travels and stay thus far, this is now our number one place to be, and already planning a trip back...sooner than later.
Also, if you find yourself at Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta... It is also must and spend time in old Town (7 minutes from the resort). You'll love the people, food, entertainment and shopping. Fully Experience the culture.
But the resort itself is an amazing Paradise, with breathtaking views and natural beauty throughout the resort. Congratulate yourself, strap in, and enjoy the ride if you choose Garza Blanca for your stay in Puerto Vallarta.
Absolutely excellent!! I love returning here for vacation. Beautiful, luxurious, and friendly service! One of a kind and definitely recommend.
Great place, amazing design, but the service was regular, so is overpriced.
Excellent hotel, the staff speak fluent Spanish and English and the beach is very beautiful, the only problem is the pebbles in the sand, but the color of the water and the view make up for it
The pools are very nice and they are not cold at all
The rooms are also very nice and have a very good maintenance
