Gardens Hotels and Residences Review

Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Spacious. Convenient location as it is attached to gardens mid valley. Quite reasonable price too. It gets a little crowded though upon check out or check in since there was only 2 reception frontdesk. Parking is shared with the mall. Breakfast area is at the hotel block. Overall 8/10

Nice room however the breakfast spread a bit limited. The parking need to park with The Garden mall visitors

Used the conference rooms at level 28. Nice city view, good ambience.

The hotel has two parts, a hotel section for small rooms, a group or two, and an apartment section, which is intended for families, but unfortunately most of the pictures shown for the small room hotel
As for the apartments, they are bad, old furniture, old furniture, the smells of the furniture, and the rooms are strong. A rickety kitchen, and the balcony door is difficult to open, with a central air conditioner, not clean.
The reception decor suggests that the hotel is great. Concerned about the reception, neglecting the essence of it inside the apartments

Very poor reception. I arrived at 1.30pm, supposedly you can check-in at 2.00pm. I was asked to wait till 4 something before I can check-in to my room. Very dissapointed with your customer service.

A 5 stars hotel with a very tight security, many security walking around.

Cosy hotel to stay in with easy access to the mid valley mall(very very accessible... Just go down only). As for parking, i used the valet service @ RM30 per day. This is my go to hotel when im in Kuala Lumpur.

Love that it is attached to a mall. Very convenient. Bfast was ok. But the staffs were the stars. So attentive. Good job.

Our room had aircond issue but mr.Khairul Azli who is assistant front Office Manager handled the issue very well. He was there to assure our stay was pleasant and offered late check out. Will definitely come again. Small issue was , Breakfast was abit disappointing as the nasi lemak rice wasn't replenished for more than 1hour.

Had a big delayed in check in on 16 June despite multiple follow with the front desk officers since 12noon. I was informed to keep waiting and waiting due to the room cleaning is in progress. Did not see any responsibility and urgency of the front desk officer to help to get the room released fast. Till nearly 4pm I still was unable to get my room and I had no choice to go to the front desk to check the status and expressed my dissactisfaction with the service. Only then it caught the attention of one of the mamager there and he instructed the staff to get the room ready immediately. However when I went to the room, the extra bed that I asked for during my online booking one week before was not put into the room. Again I have to inform the manager on the situation and only he got the stuff to move in an extra bed immediately. After all the unpleasant check in process, expecting that I can have at least a good stay for my 1 day stay. However one the 2nd morning 6am when I got ready with my gym attire reaching the lift at the gym level 5, I was informed by the security that they are having a big piping burst and major leaking causing the gym was flooded and no one is allowed to go to the gym. It was really and OMG feeling for me for such experience. The moment I am writing this review is 7.30am and will be checking out later at noon time. I am afraid that another surprise will happen before I check out ... I can only pray for the best and definitely this will not be the recomended hotel despite the advantage of the great location near to the garden mall and mid valley shopping center.

Great overall experience! The room we had was nice, it gave us a great view of Mid Valley City. Beds and rooms are clean too, modern and comfortable.

The hotel is clean, well-kept with a very fancy atmosphere. Staff is courteous and excellently friendly and helpful. Good amenities.

The building is modern, well-maintainee and beautiful.

The hotel is connected to Midvalley Shopping Centre. So, you can do and enjoy your shopping from 10am till 10pm.

Beautiful hotels within 2 malls, the Garden Mall and Midvalley Megamall. An execellent location for corporate event and short family weekend getaway.

Stayed in the 1 bedroom deluxe apartment in the residences in October 2019. It was great. Spacious and clean apartment with everything you need. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be staying there again the next time I m in KL. Easy access to the gardens mall and midvalley mall. The staff were so polite and very accomodating. The gym is well equipped (part of the hotel but still accessible via the pool area from the residences). If your goal is to shop this is the best place to stay. Highly recommended

officially the worst hotel ever. I wanted to treat my family to a nice staycation this weekend. I started my day thinking that we are going to have a nice, simple stay, but we ended up staying in the hotel lobby from 3 to 7pm because the housekeeping couldnt cope and didnt have any rooms ready. We ended up cancelling our stay because it just wasnt worth it. So disappointed. Beyond words. really ruined our weekend.

The apartments are about a beautiful and spacious experience, but for two .. with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool .. I would recommend in it especially the mall, the ground floor, restaurants and bakeries.

I stayed at Gardens Residences twice recently. The staff are generally very friendly and professional. But the apartment units, although comfortable, are rather old and in need of refurbishing. The decor does appear outdated. One of the units we stayed in was infested with tiny ants that crept into whatever food we bought and we had throw the food away. I felt that housekeeping should have noticed this and rectified it without the guests having to inform.

Last week we booked this hotel for my guest from overseas - business trip. We encountered 2 issues with this hotel:

1. We booked through the hotel website itself and we booked two rooms and even called up to specify the requirement for the room.
Upon check in the room type we requested was not honored and we didn't receive any calls about that arrangement at all. That caused a delay in check in as we need to wait for the new arrangement.

2. Due the booking was made under company, the payment was by account department while the guest name is different. The management have doubt on this and didn't give us any call to confirm the payment details. Instead, they directly request payment from my guest and that caused serious embarrassment to my guest as well as our company.

In addition, the way that the management deal with problems are not professional. The hotel staff do not speak in a polite way. I think this hotel seriously need to pay attention to these matters.

The hotel is located on a great location. Right down the hotel lobby, u have a luxury shopping center.

We booked a deluxe 2-bedroom apartment at residence for one night. Hotel and residence receptions are separated with different entrance in walking distance. For residence, the entrance is located next to the DOME cafe. You can walk to the Gardens mall through the door next to the DOME (near ISETAN department store).

The receptionists were nice and checking in and out were smooth. We parked at premier zone and the parking ticket can be validated at flat rate (mine was RM5 if I have not mistaken). Can park at zone B and U as well. It's better to drop off big luggages in front the lobby before parking as the lifts there are slow and always crowded. Quite inconvenient for hotel guests as there is no reserved parking and no guidance on how to walk to the hotel from car park.

The apartment however is really old. The air conditioner is not cold enough while the controller is old design without screen. Both rooms are spacious (master room with extra large double bed and second room with 2 single beds). Both rooms have one bathroom each although the low quality shampoo and body shower provided really disappointed me.

The best thing of this hotel is that you can walk to the Gardens mall and midvalley mega mall in few minutes anytime you want. Good for people who want to shop as long as you don't mind paying more for an average hotel room and spending a lot of time to find a parking space especially on weekends.

Ok if you need to be in this area. It felt a bit tired and rough around the edges. The breakfast buffet was really good and nice to be able to sit out side. Being close to the mall was useful. But I did find a dead cockroach in the bath. So for the money I would stay elsewhere.

Mid Valley is a busy and popular area. The hotel is connected to the malls. Staffs are nice. Gym and swimming pool are available inside the hotel. There're a lot of shops and dinning places...even cinema in the vicinity.

Loved our stay here. Staff went the extra mile. They noticed it was my birthday from my passport and left a little surprise for me.the room was much bigger anuthing we could have got at a hotel. Can not recommend here enough for families in particular

for rm400++ room/nite, feels kinda overpriced.. with no breakfast and outdated fixtures.. park ur ride at B39 (purple) for nearest access to the lobby.

Right next door to big shopping malls. The Hotel is well appointed and comfortable with lots of staff and service.

Lots of food choices nearby, local cuisine and also plenty of western choices.

Great hotel with a myraid of interesting ammenities from restaurants for foodies to shopping to all those shopaholics :)
