The worst restaurant during our 2-week Beirut visit. Our nigiri sushi was visibly close to inedible, as you can see from my photo. This was also the most expensive place we went - a small lunch that left the 2 of us hungry was $90.

Prefer Lebaneese waiters.
Food is not what I have expected.
Price on the high side plus small quantities.

A Sushi restaurant located in the middle of downtown. Loved the decoration and the mood in this restaurant. The food was good, we tried different types of sushi rolls. Good place for a cozy stay with your beloved ones.

Le Sushi Bar is a new restaurant in the downtown area of Beirut. The setting is charming with an open indoor area and two terraces outside. We went there for dinner on a Sunday night, the place was full with beautiful people.
Food: Sushi and Sashimi were excellent, so was a plate of meat. We ordered some kind of rice with mushrooms, disappointing. Some items on the menue were not available.
Drink: An extensive wine list, I'm sure you'll find a wine to your taste.
Atmosphere: trendy, middle age, well to do people. Noticeably more women than men!!!!!.
Price: over priced for the quality of the food, but properly prices for the setting, location and clientele.
I will definitely go there again.

Beautiful decor but food could be better. Had the cod gyoza, mushroom rice pot and a few rolls, expected them all to be better, especially given how upscale the restaurant was. Coming from Dubai, the quality just didn t compare but the service and ambience were great.

Located in the middle of downtown Beirut, posh area.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, and has an excellent loungey ambiance for night drinks.
Regarding the food, expect to be blown away by the flavors, everything here is delicious.
The blue crab tacos are mouth watering, and the grilled salmon sashimi is out of this world !!
My wife even ordered a veggie sushi roll (which I disapproved of) and I ended up eating the whole thing myself.
Would go again and again, just note that it is a bit pricey.

Very good sushi. Lovely ambience and seating both indoor and outdoor. Perfect place for a date or meeting friends. Prices are a little high, but worth it for the food and environment. Make a reservation before coming as it usually books up well in advance, especially on Fridays and weekends.

What an experience... Everything I had was memorable, every single item is unique, the rolls, the preparations, the plates, the sauces, the flavors... that's fine dining quality, proudly Lebanese and one of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to to date. I'm out of words!

Absolute rip off. I ordered the blue crab MAIN DISH, and got a joke for food, the amount of food was the size of a pencil. We all had to order more food and end up paying 600 dollars for a group of 7 people. Absolutely ridiculous.

Hi,

Hi,
to the management @ Sushi Bar,
Your music has been trickling across the air for a while, jazzy, bluesy,
soul or a mix of all these genres.
I congratulate whoever's responsible for the fine selection of music played at
your SUSHI BAR, uncommon here in Lebanon.

Keep up the good work

I Can't believe they still offer foie gras, i didn't even bother to look over the rest of the menu to see what other cruelty they offer, took my stuff and walked out, just unbelievable, that people consider torturing animals a delicacy, I hope that the laws here change some day whereby animals are not subjected to torture just for the pleasure of people
I wish I went over the entire menu cuz i'm sure i would've found other plates that are just a shame to offer, and show how low and inhuman the people behind the kitchen door are!!!!!

Le sushi bar is considered a pioneer of Japanese c...

Le sushi bar is considered a pioneer of Japanese cuisine in Lebanon thanks to their 20+ Years in this Field , What people expect from a restaurant experience certainly varies depending on the restaurant type, but there are some fundamentals that separate one restaurant experiences from the other forgettable ones.
The ambience and music gives the feel of a bar hence the name sushi bar with loud contemporary music set perfectly for the venue.
The signature sushi and maki crafting patterns of good omega fats, with the exact ratio of rice to raw fish though I might say they should be a tad bigger than their current bite-size portion.
Its a great place for friends gatherings and a fun night out with the girls , a second or third fun date night sounds perfect but definitely not a first one since you cannot sustain a conversation due to the loud music.
The waiters were knowledgeable and helpful and the overall experience was delightful.
Taste Buds Recommended.
Savoury Sarah.
