I have been there many times. Excellent service. Excellent food
The worst restaurant during our 2-week Beirut visit. Our nigiri sushi was visibly close to inedible, as you can see from my photo. This was also the most expensive place we went - a small lunch that left the 2 of us hungry was $90.
Prefer Lebaneese waiters.
Food is not what I have expected.
Price on the high side plus small quantities.
Good sushi. Relatively over-expensive, would expect a super awesome experience in return, but not so much.
A Sushi restaurant located in the middle of downtown. Loved the decoration and the mood in this restaurant. The food was good, we tried different types of sushi rolls. Good place for a cozy stay with your beloved ones.
The sushi mixes are exceptional and probably the best in Lebanon, very good world wide, although it's on the expensive side in international standards.
Excellent Japanese restaurant! Great atmosphere. We were served quickly and with a smile. The dishes are delicious. I recommend Japanese beer.
One of my favorite sushi restaurants in beirut. It has a beautiful interior. The ambiance is amazing. Food is just great. They deliver a quality and fresh sushi. Excellent service.
I was so dissapointed the taste was normal and not delicious
No noodles
The old shrimp tempura was way better
The sushi choices was better in the old branch ........
Just another sushi place im Beirut. Nothing special. Prices aren't a match for quality though. I'd reduce the prices. Service is great non the less.
Because Tottenham is the best football team in the world. And the mushroom noodles are ok. Also, my wife fell asleep here.
Went there at 3:30pm so it was kind of empty. However the food as usual was good. It is an expensive place. So if you look at the prices before ordering you will not enjoy the place.
Le Sushi Bar is a new restaurant in the downtown area of Beirut. The setting is charming with an open indoor area and two terraces outside. We went there for dinner on a Sunday night, the place was full with beautiful people.
Food: Sushi and Sashimi were excellent, so was a plate of meat. We ordered some kind of rice with mushrooms, disappointing. Some items on the menue were not available.
Drink: An extensive wine list, I'm sure you'll find a wine to your taste.
Atmosphere: trendy, middle age, well to do people. Noticeably more women than men!!!!!.
Price: over priced for the quality of the food, but properly prices for the setting, location and clientele.
I will definitely go there again.
the place is very pleasant to dine inside or on the terrace; the food is quite refined and the staff friendly. It is a good restaurant for this Japanese cuisine.
A bit difficult to reach but the food is quite good..
The patriarch of the post war era sushi restaurants in Beirut. Faultless, flawless food with just the right dose of inventive dishes. An absolute all star place to visit.
Beautiful decor but food could be better. Had the cod gyoza, mushroom rice pot and a few rolls, expected them all to be better, especially given how upscale the restaurant was. Coming from Dubai, the quality just didn t compare but the service and ambience were great.
This is a well known sushi bar for a reason. I truly love the overall design of this place. The sushi is great and the service is too. Will come here again for sure.
Located in the middle of downtown Beirut, posh area.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, and has an excellent loungey ambiance for night drinks.
Regarding the food, expect to be blown away by the flavors, everything here is delicious.
The blue crab tacos are mouth watering, and the grilled salmon sashimi is out of this world !!
My wife even ordered a veggie sushi roll (which I disapproved of) and I ended up eating the whole thing myself.
Would go again and again, just note that it is a bit pricey.
Above average sushi restaurant, but not exceptional. Good classical Japanese without flare. Pricey for what is offered but the place is nice and relaxing. Great staff. Recommended.
The food wasn't great, and if you then consider the high prices charged, then you get really disappointed...
Lovely date night spot. Very intimate environment and delicious food.
Only if the service was ok would I have given this place a two star rating but how does this restaurant justify its level of service to the prices offered? It is ridiculous
Really bad food and service its over rated trust me dont go
Leave it to them to amaze you with signature items and the real taste of sushi! A must visit
Very good sushi. Lovely ambience and seating both indoor and outdoor. Perfect place for a date or meeting friends. Prices are a little high, but worth it for the food and environment. Make a reservation before coming as it usually books up well in advance, especially on Fridays and weekends.
Excellent sushi restaurant! nice and cozy, friendly staffs, reasonable prices, variety of nice foods. I would like to recommend this restaurant for Lebanese youngsters!
Still probably the best sushi restaurant but the prices are rediculously expensive
Very expensive, not that good, the place is very fancy though.
As always, my favorite nb one sushi place in town if not in the Middle East especially now with it's new location. Still amazing food, always fresh although i used to like the old menu more but the new one is not bad at all. The bar area is fabulous in addition to the drinks are really wow. Good luck
What an experience... Everything I had was memorable, every single item is unique, the rolls, the preparations, the plates, the sauces, the flavors... that's fine dining quality, proudly Lebanese and one of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to to date. I'm out of words!
Used to be my favourite Sushi place before, these days the ingredients are of best quality but the taste is not as it used to be excellent before.
Amazing food. Incredible Service. On point ambiance. It's the ultimate dining experience.
Absolute rip off. I ordered the blue crab MAIN DISH, and got a joke for food, the amount of food was the size of a pencil. We all had to order more food and end up paying 600 dollars for a group of 7 people. Absolutely ridiculous.
The quality of food is over shadowed by a terrible service and organization that's unfortunate since it was once the best sushi place in Lebanon
Best sushi ive tried so far, quite expensive but good for an occasion. The dessert is lovely and impressive presentation.
best sushi place in Beirut! great atmosphere and professional staff
The best sushi and exotic seafood Japanese restaurant in Lebanon!
To be honest i went there and didn't even order the menu was to complicated and pricey
Hi,
to the management @ Sushi Bar,
Your music has been trickling across the air for a while, jazzy, bluesy,
soul or a mix of all these genres.
I congratulate whoever's responsible for the fine selection of music played at
your SUSHI BAR, uncommon here in Lebanon.
Keep up the good work
Tasty food , a big variety but slow service maybe because it is crowded
I Can't believe they still offer foie gras, i didn't even bother to look over the rest of the menu to see what other cruelty they offer, took my stuff and walked out, just unbelievable, that people consider torturing animals a delicacy, I hope that the laws here change some day whereby animals are not subjected to torture just for the pleasure of people
I wish I went over the entire menu cuz i'm sure i would've found other plates that are just a shame to offer, and show how low and inhuman the people behind the kitchen door are!!!!!
Le sushi bar is considered a pioneer of Japanese cuisine in Lebanon thanks to their 20+ Years in this Field , What people expect from a restaurant experience certainly varies depending on the restaurant type, but there are some fundamentals that separate one restaurant experiences from the other forgettable ones.
The ambience and music gives the feel of a bar hence the name sushi bar with loud contemporary music set perfectly for the venue.
The signature sushi and maki crafting patterns of good omega fats, with the exact ratio of rice to raw fish though I might say they should be a tad bigger than their current bite-size portion.
Its a great place for friends gatherings and a fun night out with the girls , a second or third fun date night sounds perfect but definitely not a first one since you cannot sustain a conversation due to the loud music.
The waiters were knowledgeable and helpful and the overall experience was delightful.
Taste Buds Recommended.
Savoury Sarah.
Ups and down at sushi bar. Overall the food is nice and a good place to eat at.
Beautiful place well designed and the food is delicious
One of the best, if not the best sushi restaurants in town!
