Has a historic value, amazing staff, but slightly less than expected in terms of Maintinance. This morning there was no hot water for a short while! Food is above average.

It is in a good location and has excellent restaurants

This is a very nice hotel, with a great view and a great view. The place is comfortable and the service staff are friendly and feel when entering the place need to spend as long as possible

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in two separate visits. The rooms were consistently roomy and clean. It compares to Marriott properties in Canada (e.g. Niagara Falls) for size and amenities. In room furniture have a tastefully old feel to them that matches the overall charm of the hotel. Bathrooms can use a little renovation but were reasonably clean.

Hotel itself has a beautiful garden and architectural decorations that gives it a very historic vibe. The breakfast was the best breakfast buffet I've had in any hotel yet. Tasty, fresh, with a very large variety of local cuisine options.

At night time, the garden area become alive and a romantic dinner can be had outdoors under the trees with live music in the background and other couples and families sitting around eating or enjoying hookas.

The level of eating is very sweet with the reservation at the level of service in the hotel itself

Do not hang a hotel and museum at the top of the luxury

Other than that, it's a very nice place.

Busy and central hotel. It's what you expect from a Marriott however this one used to be a Summer Palace. Explore the orginal palace to get a sense of what it might been like. Recommend the stay for a Cairo visit.

The palace was built by Khedive Ismail in 1869 to be the official residence of the guests of the celebrations of the opening of the Suez Canal, especially the guest of honor, Empress Eugenie, wife of Emperor Napoleon III. The hotel consists of three buildings, the first building is the palace building, which consists of 5 floors with hotel halls, restaurants, shopping shops, main hall and reception, and the second building Zamalek Tower building, and the third tower island between these buildings there is a swimming pool, restaurants and club. Great location. Amazing art work and historical furniture. Service was kind but did not go as per expected by a 5 star hotel in Egypt and especially a Marriott. They did recognise Marriott Bonvoy privileges and perks. Even dine in guest are charged full price for self-parking their car.

Nice place and service five stars but needs renovation of furniture

Didn't have the chance to try the hotel accommodations but we had a business dinner and the preparation was spot-on, food taste was excellent and professionally served, overall it was an excellent experience, (the hotel layout is a bit strange though, we lost our way twice getting out ) need better directions inside.
