One of the best hotels in Cairo this was previously called as a Gazira Palace now the palace has been taken over by marriott group and it's a beautiful 5-star hotel

Had dinner in the Egyptian Restaurant .... extremely Expensive with Poor Service and very limited Menu ....
** Imagine 1 Koshary = 180 pounds + Svc & Tax at the level of street Koshary....

Very good food accompanied by the excellent Egyptian wine.
Only the door of my room was on the stairs and the service corridor. It was very uncomfortable for me.

I booked with this hotel for a week, and I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. My room was located on the 9th floor corner room, and the view of the Nile was perfect. The hotel was clean and provides you with great friendly hospitality. I especially have to give a thank you to the front desk girl Aya. She was so very friendly and welcoming during my check-in and check out. I also thoroughly enjoyed the room service. I would recommend the Marriott Burger, their Fried garlic shrimp, or the fettuccine Alfredo, the fresh strawberry juice was perfection. Also during my stay I got amazing pictures right on the hotel grounds as it used to be an old palaces (pictures will be attached for reference). And last but not least, Ayman Hossam was very helpful, he went out of his way to ask me and my friends how are stay was going and genuinely wants to ensure that each guest enjoys their stay. Because of this positive experience, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfasts are great, they are well stocked with varied fruits and the service is excellent.

This hotel is a perfect destination if you are visiting Cairo as a tourist. it is centrally located in beautiful Zamalek - which is an island in the middle of the Nile river. Zamalek has a rich history in Cairo and is an area that is home to more affluent locals and expats. It is also where many of the embassies and ambassador residences are located. The rooms at the Marriott are full of the right amenities and the bed are super comfortable. most probably because of the Marriott s linen and duvet program. the sheets were super comfortable
