It is wonderful to deal with and service .... But I did not get in the room .... I mean no one lives only in the buildings .. The building which two floors do not bring it closer ...

My room, very large with two large and comfortable beds, had a splendid view of the Nile
I found the room clean, with great wi fi and a 55 inch flat screen TV.
Excellent breakfast, both sweet and savory.

On previous reviews I said that the garden area is one of my favourite spots in Cairo, unfortunately service in this place is deteriorating and it is becoming noticeable in the last year or so, looks very chaotic and you may have wait for half an hour before someone attends to you.
The menu is ok, but the food takes time to arrive and usually cold by then.
Some of the waiters have no courtesy and proper attitude when you question the preparation of your order.

Hotel is great but the Saudis who drink alcohol have been ruined

A five star hotel in Zamalek, Egypt, located near the river Nile. It is a great hotel with a rich history spanning centuries. The hotel is exquisite with over 1000 rooms. It has great views, all manner of amenities, great dishes, top of the range customer service and security.

Very nice hotel with twin towers that were added on to the palace. Overlooking the Nile. very friendly staff. The rooms are good not great.
The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of dining venue and close to a major shopping and dining area.

I do not know how you can give 5 stars to this hotel.
Beautiful, but an absolutely negative experience.
Booked via edreams, they welcome us by telling us that they do not know edreams and that the credit card guarantee does not guarantee room availability. Then I tell me that if I do not have a passport can not accept me: I had but with a maturity of four months, so I had an identity card with which I had come to Egypt and got the Visa. Eventually they give in (they had no rooms) and they tell us that they give us a suite for two (work colleagues). We refuse and propose a room with a small bed (we refuse, since my colleague is very tall). A hotel manager arrives and resolves the situation with a suite instead of the normal room. Upon registration they tell us that breakfast was not included (it was clearly mentioned in the reservation) and in the end they do it. Everything from 22:45 to 01:15. I enter the room, looking for an outlet to charge your phone. I just tell you that, among other things, there were pieces of nail behind the bedside table. I do not describe the state of the microwave. My colleague had to change rooms: someone had vomited and the room had not been cleaned. Is that enough to justify a star?
