Beware of G Data Long-standing customers of debt collection companies are dunned for no reason, the unjustified dunning notice was of course not paid, but all current licenses were canceled. A subscription was NEVER taken out, only a license for one year. It can also only be terminated in writing. TIP NEVER give your correct address when ordering, create a fictitious email address for online purchases or, even better, go to the competition

I can not comment on the product anymore as I have been using Windows Defender since the beginning of the year and this product has the same performance after malware detection reviews. But that the bookkeeping is not able to confirm my notice and initiate a dunning procedure is the hammer.

Unfortunately, I can not recommend G Data to anyone, as I have only had very negative experiences with this company - which, in my opinion, terms such as satisfactory customer value and good service are probably foreign. In my case, I had not thought that such a thing is still possible in German companies. Since I am with KASPERSKY I am fine and I am very satisfied! Like me it is a lot of people in my circle of acquaintances.

I was a satisfied customer for a long time. The switch to Win 10 was a disaster. Hours with technicians, MICROSOFT hotlines and bright nerves until it was clear that Internet secure prevented the installation. So everything new and afterwards gdata put on again. And again everything for free. Black screens ... Outlook was not running ... No understanding at gdata and no goodwill when canceling. Too bad. No more recommendation.

Does anyone understand why the GDATA software is now also looking for junkware? Probably only companies have the need to block these with regard to employee PCs. Does the owner-occupier (private user / self-employed) who are not blessed with leisure and boredom now have to turn to other providers instead of GDATA?

Customers are sold a badly recognizable subscription with annual licenses. Anyone who does not cancel in time will be asked to pay again. In the event of default in payment, it is handed over to a debt collection agency within a very short time. A 20 bill quickly turns into a proud 77. I have never come across such practices with other anti-virus software manufacturers. Definitely not recommended.
