We came in looking for a new sofa and kitchen table and chairs. Since we have shopped at Furnitureland South before, we already had a salesperson available. He is nice and friendly, listened to what we thought we wanted and gave suggestions. We bought both items that afternoon as well as some barstools. Very happy to have those furniture items checked off my list.
We ordered a leather sofa and reclining chair. When they were delivered they were not as ordered. it has taken us 7 weeks to finally reach a person who would respond to our situation, and order the correct legs / feet for our furniture. The person who finally responded to our call has since then in communication with us regularly. Our salesman was of no help at all, and I think is no longer with the company. the quality of the furniture is lovely, but the customer service has been quite a challenge!

Didn't care for their selection or prices. The outlet was like the island of misfit toys. Impressive amount of furniture, but went through the entire thing and couldn't find a couch that we liked. Much less one that we'd pay their prices for.

Placed an order a month ago and FLS does not have the furniture from the manufacturer. We are expecting the arrival of our son 11/4/2013 and FLS is not expecting to have the furniture until 11/25/2013. I didn't realize that it would take more than a month to get what we ordered.
I would had gone somewhere else if I knew it would take so long.
We had a very favorable experience. We were met at the door by Carolyn Williams, a Sales Associate. After we explained that we were "just looking". She left us alone while we roamed the enormous bldgs on site. On the second day, she contacted us and asked if we had found anything to buy. We had. She made the purchase process very painless. And we now are awaiting our two theater seats and our huge porch swing. Overall, our opinion is: "If you can't find things to buy at Furnitureland South, you don't need anything". As an additional benefit, EVERYONE we met there was both helpful and nice. We will definitely go back.

I recently sold my Florida home with all the furnishings, something I wasn t expecting I would have to do. I need a whole house full of furniture quickly for our new house. I knew about FLS previously, so I decided to fly there and with the help of an excellent,and experienced salesman ( Jim Berrier) in 2.5 days, I had chosen and ordered what I needed. The showrooms at FLS carry most of today s furniture makers, which helps a lot when you have so much decision making to do. I felt I got a good price, and excellence from sales, to deliver ( their guys are fantastic). I continue to work with Jim when I need more pieces. A wonderful experience start to finish. Working with our sales associate at FLS so far has been great. Keri has gone out of her way to assist us by researching our questions, locating swatch books and obtaining samples so that we could make timely decisions on our purchases during their August sales promotion. She even went to the effort to move a chair in our selected leather swatch beside the sofa we were coordinating with. Hopefully, the delivery and the merchandise will also exceed our expectations.

About five years ago, We bought a dining room and bedrooms for our daughter, and it was a great experience. We had been shopping at all the furniture stores around. But we really found what we wanted at Furnitureland South. Natalie Dean was very helpful even though we didn t buy on the spot, but we were emailing back and forth until we decided to go with the purchase. A few weeks ago, we decided to buy a few more pieces, Natalie was still there, and she was just as helpful. She helped us get the best deal! We had the most wonderful experience at Furnitureland South. Tresa Prine was the saleswoman that worked with us. She was very professional and patient. This place is huge! Tresa knew her way around the whole place, (I kept getting lost). She took us to the places that we asked to see and showed us other pieces of furniture that fit our style. Tresa is very knowledgeable about the quality of furniture from different manufacturers which helps when making a decision. An appointment is a must! We ended up buying different bedroom sets than we thought we wanted when we came.
Finally, she took us to look for a mattress. I had to lay on a machine that determined the type of mattress that will give me the best nights sleep. It also tells you the pillow that is right for you.
We got a pillow and ordered a mattress. I got the best night sleep ever. Can t wait until I get the mattress.

As you probably are aware, the delivery scheduled for Wednesday, March 21, 2018 was cancelled at 9:26am the same day.
I had hoped that I would be contacted today regarding an immediate rescheduling of delivery.
As you can imagine, I am frustrated because had not my two previous windows of delivery been cancelled there would have been no need to draft this email.
On Sunday, March 25, 208, a few days from this correspondence it will be four (4) months since I purchased the Magnussen South Panel Bedroom set.
This purchase has been plagued with issues including but not limited to: Items arriving damaged, replacement items arriving at the warehouse damaged (multiple times), missing hardware, delivery windows being rescheduled multiple times.
I have accommodated Furnitureland South repeatedly by paying in full and taking days off of work to ensure delivery availability.
Most recently, Furnitureland South has failed to reciprocate with quality customer service, flexibility, or reasonableness towards problem solving.
Furnitureland South has abused the consumer/customer relationship and has indicated through the actions of its employees an acceptable practice policy.
There are few words that can express my extreme displeasure with Furnitureland South and its poor business practices.
Again, I, my family, my household, my lifestyle, my comfort are being held hostage and being treated with disrespect.
Kim Haire was extremely helpful in getting me samples to select the leather chairs for our Great Room. We met her on trip to NC and her follow up was awesome.
This furniture store has everything even a Starbucks. Bring your walking shoes and checkbook!
The furniture we got from them was MUCH less expensive than the same pieces in the local stores. It was delayed a couple of times due to snow storms, but that's understandable. Delivery guys were great, furniture is really high quality, solid wood. I expect it to last a lifetime!
Driving to High Point NC from Pennsylvania to visit this showroom was so worth the eight hour drive. This place was Heavenly ...they had everything we needed to furnish our new home. And, meeting their top designer Grace Williams, was icing on the cake. We are so grateful for her advice and expertise. She was and continues to be such a help to us. I called the main # and was transferred to my representative Deborah Bennett who I worked with on previous occasions. Deborah picked up immediately. I told her I wanted; a city skyline picture for a large wall in my media room. Also had to be either NYC or Atlanta only. I sent picture of the space and poof ..... Next day, Deborah returns snapshot of exactly what I wanted...perfect size and everything. Turned out to be a 3 piece canvas set. Deborah listens and delivers!!! Also, I am pleased that she gave this small request just as effectively as larger previous orders. That is why I will keep coming back! Kudos to Deborah!

It is a shopping wonderland of furniture choices and prices. If I didn't have Jason guiding me through the three separate buildings and the hundreds of sections I might have walked in and out. There was the relaxed vibe as I prosed and got familiar with the store. I came back three separate times looking for the perfect living room setup, each time I was able to text Jason that I was there and he'd come answer my questions. My husband and I are eagerly awaiting our new pieces that we alone could not have put together, especially the perfect area rug. And Furnitureland South bundles your pieces and you get future discounts. I'll definitely be back. There is even a Starbucks on the first floor. And finally and most importantly, where some comfortable shoes

I made a purchase of 4 Castelle bar stools hastily as my sales person was giving the hard pitch about ordering by a certain time for the summer sale or I might miss the savings. I ordered, made a deposit and then had to cancel as the wife didn t approve of my choice of style. My bad. I called to cancel with the sales girl Sharmayne who emailed me that the refund to my CC would post within a couple of days. That email was from April 2. Today is may 10 th and still no refund. I ve initiated a dispute with my credit card company. Be careful of giving this company money up front as you may find yourself in my position. Not fun.
Placed a decent size/price order to furnish my living room. Delivery times are terrible - about 2 months, I'm not sure why it takes this long. Pair this with terrible customer service and incompetency and you have FurnitureLand!
First few pieces of my order were delivered fine, entertainment center was damaged in freight, which added another month to my waiting time. When it was finally delivered, it was scratched up and handles were missing!
Now, cherry on top, I ordered a side table in January of 2018. It is May of 2018 and I'm still waiting for it! The side table was to be delivered last week of April, to my surprise, they delivered the wrong one! No one called me to rectify this, I followed up myself and was told that it will take 10 business days just to find out what the issue is and then no one knows how long it will take to get the right one delivered. I'm just going to assume I'll get it next year. Do not shop there, terrible, terrible, customer service and issue remediation!
This place is beautiful, there was no piece of furniture or location not worth seeing. There is a Starbucks, a Subway and not to mention a MUCH NEEDED area with massage chairs. Now they only need a location for oxygen cause your gonna need it walking through this Massive Store . But in all it was worth the drive .
Very pleasant experience. I had heard over the years that it was large and alot of space to cover. Oh I didn't mention expensive. I was pleasantly surprised how I was able to find exactly what I wanted in a few hours. The sales associate allowed me to look and contact him when I found something.
