I am reviewing only 1 of their locations, KFC/Taco...
I am reviewing only 1 of their locations, KFC/TacoBell in Denver, NC. By the 2.1 rating I see this is typical of Fulenwider Ent. locations. My wife and I have had Sunday lunch there several times because we like KFC/TB occasionally. Of the 7 fast food restaurants in Denver, this is by far the worst - and not occasionally. We have never been served in a timely manner, waited regularly for 15-25 minutes from the time we enter the location until we are served. We have left on several occasions when 15 minutes had passed and we our order had not yet been taken. Almost every time we visit, someone in line leaves in frustration. I am not criticizing the staff as it appears they are always understaffed and complaints to the manager(s) get this excuse. I do not recall ever seeing someone wiping tables and the order taker always fills the order too, even on a busy Sunday lunch. In another example of poor service, and not for the first time, at apprx. 1:05pm today a person ordering after us asked for whatever chicken box that included 8 breasts. The reply was we only have 4 breasts and it will take 20 to 30 minutes to have more. NO excuse for this consistently horrible service. To add insult to injury, the design of their lot forces exiting traffic to pass through the drive-thru line. As a result of the overall poor service we have to wait for a gap in the backed up drive-thru traffic. We will not go back. I also intend to try to contact Yum! Brands, Inc. to let them know how poorly their brands are represented By Fulenwider Ent. - at least at this location.
