The park was fun, well maintained, plenty of things to do. Rides were fun, free rides for the thrill seekers and a few for the laid back. This place is expensive. I don't go to amusement parks that often, so maybe I'm just a cheap person, there were no discounts, 4 adults and 4 kids ended up costing $450 just to get in. The drinks in vending machines were $5.50 for a 20 oz bottle of water or soda, a refill drink cup for one day was $20 for one cup or $16 a cup if you bought 3. 4 corn dogs, 4 bags of chips, and 4, 12oz drinks were $44.44. To get a picture from a ride was anywhere from $12 to $25 depending on size. They have water fountains that are few and far between, but at least that is free. Kids had fun and memories were made so I'll give it a 4 star review. Also be sure to check those Coca-Cola cans for discounts on admissions! Wish I would have thought about that before paying for admission!

Very nice deal this time of the year with their "Christmas In The Park." The lights were nicely done as well as the music, artificial snow and most of the rides were opened. Kids had a blast.

I was all geared up to enjoy a great evening. it was going good until I went to use the restroom. one of them was so nasty I couldn't bear top use it. The lines were so long it took forever to get in to it, the food was priced outrageously that it cost 5 of us almost $100 dollars to eat at wild bills eatery. paid 5.00 for a small Gatorade. $7.00 for 2 bottles of aquafina water...... YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!

The water park smells very strongly of chlorine but its fun to play on. Most of the rides are older and theres nothing special about them. Its a pretty popular place despite that. Bring your own water or empty refillable container, they charge $5.50 for 1 bottle!!!!

The park has many attractions for young and old but the downfall of the park is the cost of the food for example 2 Cheeseburgers and fries is about $45 or a original funnel cake is $9 where as in my hometown you can buy a jumbo funnel cake for $2.99 but the best deal at the park is $10.99 for a footlong corndog and curly fries. But if I were to recommend a ride it would be the Wildcat or the Steel Lasso
But if it's a hot day and you don't mind getting wet go on the Renegade Rapids water ride or go to the Water park section of the park.

This place has become a glorified county Fair. Rides always breaking down. Computers down. Rude employees. The employees look so miserable. If they don't like their job maybe they need to look for other employment. This place has continued to disappoint every year. Will drive the extra 2 hours to six flags. At least then it will be worth it.

Frontier city is the closest place for me to take my kids this past summer and have lots of fun. It was the best decision to get season passes, we was able to go anytime we wanted plus attend the concerts. The only thing I don't really like is the food and drink prices and sometimes the lines for the rides. Overall we always had a lot of fun.

Thank you for your time and acknowledgement. All the rides weren't opened this was so unexpected. My kiddos we're so disappointed they were looking forward to riding the diamondback but it was under maintenance. But overall it was an experience to remember considering we are in a pandemic! Kuddos for maintaining the park clean and extremely sanitized with plenty of sanitizing stations!

None of the rides that my daughter could ride were open. A lot of the concessions were closed too. It was also overpriced and there were a lot of derelict looking areas. Spaces that had no intention because they had fallen out of use so I guess they thought they could just leave them and kids could play around them but they felt empty and unintentional. There was nothing for the kids to do and no where for them to go in these spaces.

Don't bother coming here. Just like everything else in Oklahoma this place is old and broken. Half of the park is broken and under repair or is just simply shut down. Heck even the video games here are broken. My family has a horrible experience.

Amazing

It's sad how much disrepair Frontier City has fallen into. I remember as a kid in the 90's, the park was great. Nowadays though, half the attractions are broken or shut down, the restrooms are absolutely disgusting, half the arcade and vending machines do not work; and the same situation with the carnival games-- broken and/or no staff running them. We paid $30 per person (family of 6) and $18 per vehicle to park (we had two vehicles)-- that and paying $6 for a bottle of water and $10 for four chicken strips and some fries... For those kinds of prices, we just expect cleanliness and the attractions to actually work. We went during the second week of October so, Frightfest was going on. But when we seen how awful everything turned out to be, we weren't paying $30 extra for the haunted attractions that were plywood and folks in Walmart costumes...

The water park section is pretty awesome. The rides were fun and when we went the lines were not too long. The bathrooms were kinda gross though and the drinks and snacks are absolutely outrageously priced. Bring your own cooler and walk back to your car for drinks and snacks.

Many things are being updated which is good. But man they really need to figure out the concessions. Some places run just fine but the funnel cake stand is ridiculous! It's like they don't realize people are gonna want funnel cakes! You should not have to wait over an hour to get one. Hoping they figure it out before the summer crowds get here!

Wow. I haven't been to Frontier City since 1999 but it is just as fun now as it was then. Rides have been updated but the staff is still phenomenal and treat you with smiles and understanding, also willing to go an extra mile to make you happy. Even during the covid pandemic they have safeties all over. Extra wash stations and sanitizer stations. Their security team is enforcing the mask code and also very helpful if you need directions or help understanding rules. I hope they have many more years of giving us fun from the shows of western shoot outs too magic shows performed daily. The concerts they hold to carnival like fun on the walkways.

They are making a lot of bad changes. Releasing emails about turkey legs with meal plans, and then not allowing turkey legs on meal plans. You think with six flags money they wouldn't be getting worse.

Why were all the rides down if there's gonna be a day were a lot of rides are down maybe y'all should close that day or give people discounts won't be returning horrible experience fix the rides thanks

I first go to fronier city since 2001, 2008, 2011 and 2013. I went the other day and end up getting sick from the food I ordered and my little younger cousin had some fun. I always a big six flags fan whole lot better then this theme. Why? Because six flags have better services and other excitement going on. I think I won't go to frontier city and always go to six flags. YEAH!!

My husband and I took our 3 year old this weekend. We enjoyed most aspects of the park but there are some areas that definitely need work.

PROS:
The rides we went on were great. The longest wait we had was 40 minutes for Steel Lasso. Great ride, wish it was a little longer but we all enjoyed it. The wait line is in the shade. All the other rides functioned properly and were fun. They do make everyone, including adults, wear a seatbelt if you ride an animal on the carousel. Not all the seatbelts will fit an adult. Mild annoyance, but I made it work.

The park was laid out pretty well. It didn t take long to get from ride to ride. There are a lot of restaurant and gift shop options all over the place.

There was a magic show we popped our head into for a bit. The seating was completely full, so get there a few minutes early if you want a seat. It seemed like a fun show and everyone appeared to enjoy it. I am not a magic show person, but it was entertaining while we were there.

Food tasted good. We got a chicken strip basket to share and two funnel cakes later. The price is what you would expect for a theme park. The chicken strip casket was $11 and had three strips and waffle fries. The funnel cakes were $9. We also got a 24 ounce refillable cup that was $11 and you can get refills for $1. The alternative would have been individual $4 drinks that are not refillable. They also have beer in the park. We didn t get any but the prices were $4-$10.

CONS:
The restrooms. I had a couple issues with this. First, they had the water park area closed off, which closes off the only bathroom at the back of the park. Makes absolutely no sense to me. When you have small children, having bathrooms is essential. Second, I have worked in theme park bathrooms before at a very large park in Florida that is run by a mouse. I anticipated that the bathroom next to the log flume was going to be a bit wet. It exceeded my expectations in a negative way. I never saw an attendant in the bathrooms and it was disgusting. In addition to the water all over the floor, one of the three sinks did not work, and one of the soap dispensers was out of soap. It s also laid out weird. There are two sets of doors so it got crowded in there very quickly. I am not sure how often they get in there to clean, but I would suggest more often. My husband said the men s restroom was equally gross.

The food service. While the food tasted good, we waited 30 minutes for one chicken strip basket and 30 minutes for two funnel cakes. Their service system just doesn t work. Also, when serving the food, one of the numbers called in front of me went to get their food from the window, when the worker dropped one basket on the floor. They took a basket from another order that was ready and gave it to that woman. So the next person had to wait for more chicken strips since their food was given to someone else. It was a mess. I believe our wait for funnel cakes might not have been as long if the staff hadn t walked out, quitting, during the cooking. We had to wait on managers to come finish cooking them. No apologies for the wait. Not sure what happened in the back, but no one seemed to be surprised.

I was not the only one disgruntled with the wait times for both restaurants. It made everyone grouchy and miserable.

I think if those two issues were fixed, it would improve the park experience a lot.

Side note: we came on a discount day and had free parking. Otherwise parking is $20. Just a warning.

All I. All, I would return, but only on a discount day and only if we ate before we came. If I had paid the full $49 entry, I would not have found it worth it.

The park is small, but very beautiful. We visited it on a Wednesday in the afternoon and almost half of the attractions were closed. When he asked one of the employees, he answered that they closed them because the seats get very hot. The service is terrible and the attitude of the majority of the young people in charge of the attractions is so negative that they only invite not to return. To the management of Six Flags: they have a lot of work to do to turn this property into a true six flags.

crazy fun park. lines for rides are low on week days. ask for free water cup anywhere but always lift your back in the waterslide so you dont get a rug burn or get water in your lungs like I did

This place is really fun and Six Flags recently purchased them so your Six Flags season pass and meal plan work here as well, so hopefully they will serve fountain coke soon. It's not an extremely big park but it is very family friendly and we had a really good time. The food was very good and the rides we did ride were also fun as well. They have a small water park on site but we did not do that. I think this is something you want to put on your list when visiting Oklahoma City and I'm sure you and your family will have a great time. If you dont have a season pass I would really recommend that you consider doing that as it can get was quite expensive very quickly. The parking alone was 20.00 and your season pass would cover this cost. I hope you get to stop by and have a visit because I am sure you will have as much fun as we did... Enjoy

At the entrance I waited to speak with four separate employees in four lines trying to figure out where to buy tickets but nobody knew where I could buy tickets (and there aren t signs). They would say it s not this window or are you a season ticket holder . The last one I asked just dropped her eyes to the ground and walked away. So I bought my tickets on my phone and saved $10. Idiots.

Went there Sunday with some friends and spent a great deal of money only to wait in line for our first ride close to 2 hours due to operator malfunctions. The kid on the lasso ride couldn't figure out how to lock or unlock the seats leaving the guys ahead of us stuck on the ride for close to 15 minutes. When they finally got another group of people through it happened again except they didn't even get to ride for close to 15 more minutes. This guy couldn't get his daughter out of the seat and instead of making sure he was a safe distance away, the woman "helping" him yanked the bar up with some force and hit him right in the forehead and immediately blamed him instead of taking the blame for what she did herself. All in all only a quarter of the employees actually were friendly and wanted to be there while the rest obviously couldn't care. There were two or three rides including this one that were broken periodically through the day and others that weren't that safe at all. If you're looking for something to spend all your money on and make you wait in 30 minute lines all day then frontier city is for you.

Decent theme park. Horrible parking. Good value for season passes. Sadly there is no season pass line or direct entrance for season pass holders. The ticket checking area is rather small only a few entrances. The line to get into the park for a concert was longer than the lines for the rides.
