It was our 1st time,just wished things were easier to find! But we have season passes so the more we come back the better we will get familiar!

The rides are great. Fright fest was really good this year. I currently work there. They are doing a frontier christmas this year. I really think it will be a hit. It would be good for the park to be open longer. Prices for admission and parking are going up...thats the only bad thing that I can think of. The park employees are really nice too. I hope y'all enjoy your visit as mush as I enjoy mine.

Always a good time but you have to buy the passes. That's the key.

Had a blast with family. Freight fest was fun also.

Tons of thrilling rides for all ages and other fun western activities

Some areas could use a good cleaning and new paint. The new areas look nice. Over all always a good time with family and friends.

It's been a while since I was there last. They have added rides and amenities. The prices for food and drink are still high which is expected but other than that good place to have some fun!

All the kids who's ages range from 1 to 14 enjoyed. The adults also loved it. It is on a smaller scale when coming to amusement parks but still big enough to really enjoy. You don't have to wait as long in lines as you do when going to other parks and you are not walking as much. Definitely will be getting a season pass this year. So glad our family ( which was 18 all together) decided to go here rather than a larger park.

Fun for the family. A little overpriced for the ride selection. Try to go on a night thats not very busy, the rides arent worth a long wait.

We went for the first time last Friday on a field trip and decided to go ahead and upgrade to season passes that day! My five year old and I had a wonderful time. The Water Works portion of the park alone is worth having the season pass. I do wish the park was a bit more updated and maybe more rides but I think we will definitely have some great times and get our money out of the passes.

Was not impressed at all! You can tell they are two steps from shutting down. Doesn't seem maintained at all compared to other parks. Kids even asked when we pulled up if this is a pop up carnival. But then again we are from Virginia and are used to how Busch Gardens is maintained in Williamsburg. So much nicer.

Fright feast was the most fun I've had in a long time they are still goin strong till 10pm

Rides are still good, but parking more than doubled since last year. Everything is more expensive since six flags bought it, but there have been 0 signs of where that money is going.

They made a lot of changes this year. Frozen lemonade is now a snack option for the meal pass. They added a new entrance for the gate so the metal detector seems to be every day now. They also have icees now with the drink areas. Parking seems to be split up somewhat so I'm not sure what they are doing long term with it but it makes it hard to pick the family up at the gate when it's time to leave. Overall a lot of good additions and changes.

Wore out place. I guess it easy to call it rustic when you lack on maintenance. Ordered food took over an hour to get. Several upset people. Condition of the rides scare me. Go to silver dollar city.

It's gotten better than it used to be. I still don't think it's worth the single ticket price, but the double park pass is not a bad deal. I still think they can continue to make several improvements to the park.

This place is great for family and friends and the rides are amazing the gun show is loud and people like that white water is connected to frontier city so you have a season pass you can go to both parks in one day the food is amazing I love frontier city and white water

Nobody knew how to work any of the chackstands and even less about where the 10 working rides were? They didn't know where the restroom was?

All privatized !! It is no longer the same bad service

Went during Fright Fest. It was packed, lines were long, there were bees everywhere and I didn't feel comfortable nursing my infant son in the public areas where he could get stung. I am also used to knowing how long the line for each ride is so I can coordinate with my husband and other toddler son how to switch off. My son enjoyed the first live show/musical very much. The map could have more detail on which rides shorter riders could ride accompanied by a taller person, because the way to see that at the actual ride could be difficult to see of there were people standing in line.

Saloon show was very weak. Food is better than Six Flags. Staff is very friendly.

We had a corporate function there today and the staff was excellent

Very upset because we drove 2 hours to go there and they said they were closed to the public for Saturday and Sunday. But it didnt say that on thier website. They should post that on there so people like us wont waste 4 hours. They were closed cause some compant bought the park for a day. Which i understand but they should post that on thier website.

I went for fright fest which was absolutely outstanding, Halloween is my favorite holiday and it was such a fun experience to be really submersed in a Halloween experience that was so much more than just a haunted house!

Despite being a holiday weekend it could have been an off day/week but several rides were not operational or had no attendants running them. Six Flags has better theme parks that are worth the entry fee.

It's awesome there, the only flaw is the long lines but they can't really control that. But I road the diamondback and something broke and they had to fix it, that kinda worried me but I guess it was fine after that, other than that 5 stars Do recommend this place.

Rides aren't nearly as high thrill as Fiesta Texas or 6 flags over Texas, but they were still enjoyable

Fun place for families. Smaller park so it doesn't take 30 minutes to walk to a ride. Nice place to watch concerts on a budget too.

Okay so I'm redoing my review. I am not taking away stars if anything I would be adding. I had an experience that no mother ever wants to go threw here today. My child got to hot and needed water. The guy who has been here for years dressed as a cowboy helped me when he realized I was in distress my child was passing out on me. Now before you judge me she had just had a drink of water. So it doesn't take much y'all. Anyways he got me water and medics to help me. This man not only got my child a cup of water he went for help and got her another bottle of water. She was check out by the medic team who was great with her. She is okay! We promptly left and went and got Gatorade. Shout out to The unknown Cowboy and medic team at Frontier City for taking care of my baby.

Same old place since I was a child. Add VR glasses to the the old rollercoaster it would add a completely new dimension. Also invest in 4D experience rides. The park is stuck in the 90's it must get with the times

Half the rides weren't even open, children working the food stops. Even the "managers" of the food service were little kids.

Dont waste your time or money on the Fright Fest this year. We went last night and were extremely disappointed. First the scare zones that used to be free are now an additional charge. They claim to have 5 free scare zones but dont let them fool you into thinking they are worth your time. They are not. If you plan on eating here plan on waiting for over an hour in food lines. No lie. They are completely understaffed. The parade was underwhelming and the zombies/scare characters that usually walk around were nowhere to be found. If you plan on just doing the rides it is ok. But if you want the halloween type experience, you will be disappointed.

Park was small but worth the cost of the tickets. May be better for big groups and corporate picnics. Easy to get bored if your there for more then a few hours

It's a nice place, my only negative comment is they need to turn the sun off, too damn hot.

My kids know the layout of the park so well, never have to worry about losing 1,;)& this year since we got season passes we gave been like 3 times already to frontier city & the employee's remember us, right when we enter the western photo area & several others throughout the park. One employee was a girl controlling the rides on the Wildcat she made my kids so happy she was very entertaining she was having fun with the people while they were waiting. Just to see smile on my kids faces I had to go to the front of the park and get her a cookie she was amazing. and brain drain is awesome. Love that they have concerts in the park for free and love that they have a smoking area and that they allow drinking alcohol even though I do not drink the security is very good about that. Love the new water addition to frontier city as well. And we always love white water bay

I love it I go and get season passes every year the rides are safe and never gets old I went when I was a child now I go with my kids

We drove all the way up from Dallas to see Skillet in concert on April 23, 2016. We had a great time. Lines were long but that is to be expected during a concert day. We will definately visit again in the near future.

I reserved tickets online due to COVID restrictions. Arrived at park as soon as gates opened. The park was clean and orderly, they had hand sanitizing and washing stations around every corner. I felt safe walking around the park. Masks are mandatory so get a comfortable one. After about 2 hours the park closed due to inclement weather, we were bummed but I checked with admissions and they gave us comp tickets for another day! So thanks Six Flags Frontier City! I recommend a visit if your in the area. Only reason for 4 stars is the amount of rides and attractions that were closed.

It looks like it's a great place where Frontier City is now owned by Six Flags.

The park needs to be more interesting and better rides more often the prices are way way way to expensive it's like $5 for a water #Ridiculous All in all the park is ok with some fun rides like diamond back.

Great place to hang out. Not huge, but fun, especially for your kids.

It is instead of family conviviality with diversity of fun.

Had a good time but eatin lunch was too xpensive $35 for 2 cheeseburgers 2 curly fries and a medium drink OMG

The farris wheel had a new kid on it so it was a bumpy ride but other than that it was amazing

Wearing a mask is a MUST but they do have little areas they call "mask break zone" people smoke cigarettes there as well.
As of the day I went, they only had 1 person working the games on the sides.
Not all rides are open at the moment either

We had a lot of fun here as a family. There is a lot to do and see, with rides and attractions appropriate for all ages. We were disappointed, however, that the bumper car we had was almost completely dysfunctional. We got stuck right in the way of most of the track and caused a large and protracted traffic jam and couldn t do anything about it. Not only did we miss out on the fun, we caused a bunch of other drivers to miss out too. The worker didn t seem all that concerned when I suggested she retire that car for the day to keep it from happening again. We didn t return to the bumper cars so I never saw if she did anything about that malfunctioning car. Fortunately one disappointing ride didn t ruin the whole day. We very much enjoyed ourselves.

Definitely fun for how close it is to home, the same city to be exact. It s not the biggest park but it does have some thrilling rides! Can t wait to get to go back after the quarantine.

3rd time to visit, very disappointed since Six Flags took it over. Went on a Monday, lines were short but half the rides wasn't going, prices went up and everything was way over priced. We came from Texas because last year it was cheaper then Six Flags Arlington.

Thus place suck the prices were to much and to park its 20 dollars

I use to visit this park at least a couple of times a year as a teenager. It was fun, but not anything to write home about. We took our son there today and it was about the same. He enjoyed it, but was not fighting us to stay when it was time to go. The whole park is paved in black asphalt, so that makes the day really hot. Everything appears to be old, but in working condition. Be prepared to spend $15 for 3 bottled waters and rides are available off and on. With that said we would go there again if there was not anything else going on. It might be time for some upgrades FTC.

A fun little amusement park to go to on a date or to bring your kids to. Has a fun Halloween theme when that time of year rolls around and they decorate with Christmas lights that you can see as you drive by. Better to do a membership to Six Flags so you can go to multiple parks over just 1.

It's not as flashy or extreme as some of those other parks, but the lines aren't usually as bad and they still have enough to fill a solid day's worth of activities. And they have been improving. We'll see what they do now that six flags has purchased them. If you're in town long enough it's worth it to stop at white water bay too. They usually offer discounts if you'll buy for both parks.

Food is expensive, cold and not great, but park is fun. However shows could be varied from previous visits. They are close to the same for 30 years.

Everything was fine except the prices for food or drinks and the disorganization in the main dining area. The rides are fun, but it was soo busy when we were there that many rides had over an hour wait time.
