I would never support a business that arrogantly displays disregard for the safety and wellness of the citizens of my neighborhood, city, or state. Jen Stanley has repeatedly been shut down for violations of the COVID-19 non-essential business closure mandates set forth by Mayor Lightfoot and Governor Pritzker. I understand the idea that this is a free county and anyone can do whatever they want, when they want. But, you would think someone who is educated in wellness would have more compassion, empathy and insight for the licensed health care workers. These are the real doctors, nurses, EMTs and medical professionals; the bona fide frontline people working double shifts, exposing themselves to care for the rest of us. Is Jen Stanley donning a fresh set of PPE for every colonic and massage she gives? Does she take one away from a truly needed situation in a real hospital? What about the spread of COVID-19 through fecal matter? The irresponsibility of someone who has the capacity to work remotely for phone and zoom consultations is astounding. To keep doing in-person colonic and massage sessions against current directives is reprehensible.
