Freshbooks is the best. It allows my US clients to pay with their credit card (unlike Quickbooks) and their customer support is awesome, too!

I'm a freelance graphic designer and freshbooks has been pretty good for me on that front. I love their support team tho, not shilling for them but shout out to them for being the best customer service I had to deal with.

I used FreshBooks for three years running my consulting biz. It was great for what I needed: invoicing and accepting payments, expense management, and the ability to add freelancers. I really liked the last piece as I often subbed out work to others but didn't want people on payroll. It was easy to mark up their costs and bill against projects. Plus I just handing the info to my accountant to do my taxes. Simple.

The software does what it's meant for, the more clients you add the more it costs, and it is very easy to use. I would have given them a better rating but my last experience with support was not good, the so called "Support Rockstar" was rude and did not offer a solution/workaround to my problem.

2 words: Ease of use...well that's three words, which is fitting because FreshBooks overdelivers when it comes to invoicing, expense tracking and all the other stuff that helps me stay organized year round until I file my taxes. The time-saving on all the tasks that can eat up my day is really where I feel the impact of FresHBooks.

This company is a scam. It is impossible to cancel your account. There is no way to do it from inside your account settings. I have tried to email them since 3 months ago from the email they tell you to use to cancel your account. No response.

It is also way overpriced. Extremely upset and have not used their software far 2 years and lost over $2000 because it s impossible to close account.

They cheated me of nearly $300, do not trust your financials for this shady company.

I have used Freshbooks for 3 years to run my growing business - the cost is much higher than comparable services, and is charged in USD despite being a Canadian company. The mobile app is basically useless if you are trying to put together complex estimates, or invoices. I've never had their banking integration successfully import a credit card statement, and the best solution they could come up with was a one time offer that they'd manually enter it for me. Every time I invoice a new customer, my invoice gets flagged as spam - no solution has been offered. Their customer support email and phoneline are only available on weekdays, meaning I've spent multiple weekends unable to send estimates or invoices when I have service issues. I wish I could continue to support a local company, but they keep charging me a premium price to make me look bad.
