Come almost daily and always find the service to be quick and all the baristas are always very friendly. Coffee is very good quality. Came in the other day and I think her name is Joanne made me the best cappucchino
Kasha Latkiewicz
I went in to check it out on my way to work and bought a blueberry scone. Not only was the scone really big but it was ridiculously good. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and really fluffy and moist on the inside! Scone heaven!
Definitely worth checking this place out!
Lovely coffee shop with a patio. They have great coffee and pastries. Can t wait to try their soft serve.
Nice coffee spot with some pastries and other things to eat. Not much room to sit inside but they have outdoor seating
The cookies are delicious!! Perfect consistency. Even though I live down the street, I've never been here til now but I love feeling like a tourist in my own city! This place is very high-end and nice for a treat. Will definitely be back. The iced latte was excellent as well.
I went to grab a drink and my tea rang up at 5.88 when it was listed for $3 on the wall. I asked the guy behind the till and he said the price had gone up last week and the wall didn t reflect the new price. 1. That s a large increase of price 2. If the price isn t listed anywhere, then you should honour what s listed on the wall or give a heads up prices have increased before ringing in the amount and not mentioning it. I ve had a good experience at Kost at Bisha hotel but this was disappointing
The cafe next to the lobby in the Bisha hotel... Amazing cakes and desserts
The scone was tasty and the coffee was delicious. The staff was nice and friendly, it's a place I recommend.
Great coffee and lunch sandwiches. Amazing treats too!
Coffee and pastries were good but seating is limited and not comfortable.
Ok. Love their coffee, just love it. The pastries , well, best croissants . Staff are so lovely
Had the Pain Au Courgette Loaf and ancient grain salad and they were both incredible! the loaf was gluten free and vegan.. stuffed with zucchini and spinach. It was surprisingly delicious and fresh! The grain salad was also amazing.. was expecting a standard quinoa salad but got exotic grains with blueberries and a flavorful dressing. Highly recommend it! Ritual offers $5 off for first time customers
Great coffee and bakery products. Coffee is on the bitter side.
Great coffee but I go there for the excellent pastries and patio setting
10 star if I could. Extremely professional polite friendly staff.
Everything looks wonderful and taste the same. Consistent consistent consistent.
Client first ... Impressed and going back almost every day.
MUST try.. This place is amazingly crazy, luv their coffee, deserts (everything & nothing in particular).
Cute place with good desserts and coffee. They also have oat milk! Limited seating.
Very fancy cafe with eye candy treats! If photogenic was a quality that could be applied to their sweet and savoury offerings then this would be the time to apply it. I'm not really a fan of their seats though. Not very comfortable.
Delicious pastries cakes & coffees at this cute little cafe attached to Hotel Bisha in downtown Toronto. Located right downtown near the King Street theatre district, steps from the King streetcar. Tried the carrot cake & pumpkin latte - both very flavourful & fresh. Quite a bit of seating inside. Friendly staff. Nice assortment of pastries available.
Hands down, the BEST coffee in Toronto. And a great patio vibe.
Nice selection of pastries - great croissants and pan au chocolate. Nice change from usual fast food. Recommend the ham and cheese bagette. Summer patio and limited seating inside. Great vegan alternatives also.
Selection is extensive. Service excellent. Quality amazing. Authentic choices and taste.
My favorite place for amazing pastries and breads.
The price is not cheap but I m telling you it s %100 worth it. I ve tried almost everything they have and I never disappointed except for the chive scone.
Their croissants are just perfect(approved by my several french friends) and banana bread is the best I ve ever had... Now they have ice cream too. The vanilla ice cream is must try. And this is also the only place I buy chocolate cake or tart. Earl grey ganache tart was an eye opening.
This place is like a hidden gem.
Nice place for snack. Not that much French and somewhat cramped.
It's a cute and trendy new cafe that's opened right by Bisha. The SA/cashier was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He knew when to leave us alone as we took a long time to decide what we wanted to get. They have a good variety of sweet and savory snack. The prices are a bit higher compared to other similar places (e.g. Maman), but their salads and sandwiches looked quite appetizing. We got a pistachio croissant which was perfectly flaky and buttery. Also got a cookie which was good, and a red velvet dome which was disappointing. Will definitely go again.
Cute cafe inside of the bisha hotel. The staff are very nice. I had a slice of chocolate cake here - the cake was very hard (maybe it was intentional or maybe it was the cold weather) but the overall experience wasn't bad. Kind of wish they had more seating.
Just received eclairs from French made, they are fantastic!
Friendly service by staff.
Make a visit grab a Latte or fresh brewed coffee. Try one of the cakes or tasty pastries.
Great location, fantastic selection of pastries, cookies, tarts, cakes, sandwiches, custom made coffee drinks hot and cold. Inside seating and a patio in the front.
My wife and I live next door, and we were meaning to give them a shot. Wife wanted to try the Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte, however she does not drink caffeine. Barista thought this tea in fact had caffeine so suggested we try the peaches and cream tea as it did not. Upon returning home, wife googled the brand of tea and determined that the peaches and cream had caffeine (when actually the Vanilla Rooibos was caffeine free). I returned the caffeine filled tea and explained, was offered nothing in exchange for what I was returning. No new drink, no money returned, simply took my drink and said sorry .
1) know your product
2) no refunds when YOU screw up?
Won t be returning.
Nice place to have a quick coffe over an evening chat. I tried the dark chocolate cheesecake and the regular cheesecake with a lemony zest. Both were so tasty and had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. The place is good too however its a bit hard to find as the street it is on is a work in progress. I would however love to visit this place again and try out the other things they have to offer.
Great coffee, 4/5 stars be use mediocre customer service at best.
Over priced breakfast place order hot chocolate and it wasn't even warm n a bagel with butter and all the staff did was toast it n put some butter in a bag not utensils or anything to apply the butter with. N no room to sit and eat inside
Was quite happy with sandwich however felt discriminated against as while I was waiting for my sandwich two well dressed people were aloud to use the washroom, but when I asked to was told no. I'm a female who works in the construction trade and during these times of Covid19, find it hard to find washrooms. I feel if establishments are aloud to sell food and beverage their washrooms should be available to their clients.
Small cafe with delicious desserts and coffee as well as sandwiches and wraps. Friendly staff reasonable prices
We went to this cafe on April 2nd, 2020 and got 2 cappuccinos and 2 croissants and were charged $19.49, which was $5.00 over the price it should have been and we didn't notice until later. The barista was a young man, maybe 5"10 and did not make the cappuccinos properly (the foam went away in under 1 minute & there wasn't enough foam)
Later I went to this cafe the evening of April 2nd, 2020 and got 1 cappuccino and asked for a double shot espresso. The same barista, charged $8.00 for the coffee, after I paid I noticed it was too expensive and should have only been $5.50 for the extra espresso shot. I asked him for a refund, and he said that he did not know how to make refunds. He said he would just refund me the next day and he would remember my face. I told him I would not be returning the next day/week as I would be out of town, and he did nothing. Not only was the coffee made by him bad again, it was an unpleasant experience to be overcharged.
A hidden coffee house/Cafe that's seems to a part of a adjoining classy hotel. There's no name outside, just a picture logo which adds to the mystery and ambience of it. The staff are pleasant and the latte selections is awesome! Dressed in a black modern decor, this is a cute find. I enjoyed my coffee and dessert a lot! I'm keeping this little secret to myself!! Lol!
The workers were polite and well trained and the food was tasty. However, their prices are super expensive! I had a grilled vegetables sandwich, which was delicious , but cost me $12! I can t understand why since it s a veggie thing.
Best cookies and massive cinnammon bun ever! I tried the walnut mascapone cookie. Totally worth it and a must try They also have alcoholic coffees!
The least friendly servers ever... Did not feel welcome at all
It s a hit or miss with the staff. Some are really nice while others are incredibly rude and have a lot of attitude.
Beautiful pastries and solid coffee. We actually enjoyed our drinks and treats in the hotel bar/lounge attached, since all cafe seating was full, which ended up being very comfy. Nothing mind-blowing about this spot, and it is little pricey, but if you re in the area and craving a coffee and fanciful snack, this is a great place to go!
Great selection of well made pastries and sandwiches.
Coffee is one of the best in the area!
Friendly and helpful staff.
Entrance is a little hidden to the right of Bisha entrance.
Probably the best croissant in Toronto - being from Paris i really missed the good ones, and so thrilled to have found this place. Great coffee too.
Service with a smile, always; no matter what time of day. French Made is one of my favourite cafe's in the city. As a regular guest at Bisha hotel, it is nice having a coffee and pastry selection like theirs right next door. The coffees are great, the pastries are delicious and there is a variety of other items available as well. I love both their outdoor and indoor seating. A wonderful every day cafe.
The espresso is delicious and from a local roaster, and their baked goods are to die for!! I recommend the Basque cheesecake or pain au chocolat.
The pastry chef here is easily the best in the city when it comes to laminate pastries. Brendan, the pastry chef, is just creating wonders!!!! These are definitely not your typical pastries.
Oops ... Delicious dessert but not a good coffee shop
Someone needs to review their description.. either close at 10PM or stay open 24/7. Great food though.
I didn t think corn soup would taste this good. With this great quinoa kale mixture. Very good and this is FRESH
The Americano was good but the banana muffin was killer! So moist and tasty. Their other pastries look very good as well. While in line another patron mentioned how their croissants are the best. I'll have to try for next time.
Excellent pastries made fresh in house daily. They're not found anywhere. The only critique is the music can be loud inside making it hard to chat with friends, but it's worth it for the pastries .
Five stars! You can always expect lovely service and equally as wonderful cafe food and beverages.
love the pastries here . Its such a nice cafe and situated well to where we live!
Love their drip coffee (better than Starbucks tbh). Price is steep for their pastries ($4 for a muffin or croissant). No seatings. Staff are amazing and super friendly though
me and my family never been here till yesterday night and we found they have fantastic cookies and french coffee this place awesome and very high-end and nice for a treat. we would love to go back again.
It was somehow $44 for two sandwiches, two small macaroons and a slice of banana bread and the bread was supposed to be half off. It s OK food but not worth that by a long shot. I would have rather have spent $20 at Tim Hortons around the corner. The sandwiches are pretty soggy and bland. The bread is good.
I struggled to find affordable (daily) coffee when I moved to Toronto from Sydney.
$4.20 for a flat white - this place could be your daily driver.
Best croissants in the city. Hands down not sure how people aren't all over this. Buttery, flaky, crisp. They share the same supplier as Quantum Coffee.
Small little patio rounds it out.
Such a great little spot! Limited seating but the lunch sandwiches are great and the pastries are some fo the best in the city. Never busy and the service is usually pretty good.
Excellent drip coffee, wide selection of pastries and sandwiches. I haven't tried the espressos yet, but the equipment looks top notch.
Sad to say this Cafe bakery was very disappointing. I bought 2 French desserts and a slice of the birthday cake as it was this months special. The cake was very hard and lacked flavor, I cannot even explain what frosting that was. I'm no baker but this was no birthday cake. The two french desserts lacked flavor and just seemed stale. I was told everything was made in house but it seems like that has no value. On another note, it was extremely overpriced for something that was subpar in flavor.
