I have found Moran to be an extremely supportive organisation to work for. I moved into the role of General Manager in October 2017. The staff have been wonderful and supportive of the goals we have set for ourselves. Keeping staff knowledge current is a big focus. It allows us to be innovative and consider different solutions for resident care. Partnering with Dementia Australia has resulted in a new approach to supporting residents living with Dementia. Everybody needs a purpose in life and all too often moving into care can diminish this. At Moran Roxburgh Park we are very proud of the work we are doing in creating opportunities for our residents and continuously supporting our residents in finding their purpose within their residential community.

I have worked with Moran for 7 years. I cant speak highly enough about this company. The staff care deeply for the residents. The community feel we have is a credit to the residents,families,staff and management.
Our management team has a focus on educating our staff which in turn benefits staff and residents.
Our focus on caring for residents with dementia is exemplary.
The lifestyle team provides an array of activities engaging the residents and providing purpose for our residents along with much joy and laughter.

Would l recommend this facility? 100% No,
the director is liar, gives you a false sales pitch, promises the world and doesn't deliver, it's all about the money and filling the bed, if your parent or loved one is a bit difficult to deal with, her answer is put them in the Dementia wing in a locked ward where they can't bother the staff at reception, the answer is sedate them to keep them quiet, definately a nursing home that doesn't care about the well being of the patient, this is my families experience of Moran nursing home

I ve been with Moran for almost 7years and in that time I have enjoyed the company of residents, family members and staff. The home is well run and staff go the extra mile to make a difference to the lives of our residents. The management team is approachable and focuses on quality of life for our residents. The home is always willing to support activities and events that create special moments for residents and their families. Residents play an important role through committees in determining many of the decisions involving their lives at Moran.

I had to put my friend into respite as I have to have major surgery. I was terrified at the thought of putting her into respite due to reports of bad nursing homes. After she stayed at Moran Roxburgh Park for one and a half months she loved it she loved the staff and activities and was quite sad on leaving. She always looked clean and well looked after when I was able to visit. I couldn't have asked for a better nursing home to look after her We will be back.
Thanks to all the staff from Managers down to cleaning staff you are all fantastic.

Having visited my mother at various times of the day on different days, I have found her to be always well cared for. She has commented that she is happy and feels well. Observing the staff caring for her I have found them to be very helpful and diligent. I am very comfortable that she is being cared for well.

No there is no fairness because my mum work there and they took her of the roster

My mum has been a resident at Moran for over 5 years, she loves it and her health actually improved a bit after becoming a resident. The staff are amazing and truly do care for all residents. There are lots of activities and the occasional outing, which the residents love. There is a real community spirit between staff, residents and families of residents. Cannot thank the staff enough they do an exceptional job in an often difficult field.
