Seaport of the Grand Bahama. Welcomed by Cruise liners at the entrance. Has beautifully made tourist village on the quay. Works are on to expand the terminal. Container operations are slow and erratic - can be streamlined.
A major hub for worldwide transshipment of containerized cargo, Freeport Container Port has 16 metres of depth alongside, 750 reefer points, and 3 berths. It contains 57 hectares of stacking area and capacity to handle 1.5 million TEUs per year.
Too far to go out to town. Not a great place for shore leave
