I do allot of work myself (most if not all mechanical work short of engine and trans swaps) so i mainly only stop in for electrical computer related stuff where they have specific equipment to communicate with the vehicle's computer. I was going to be late for my appointment so i was able to call up and push it back to later in the day with no issues and i got a TCM reset for the transmission to work out the erratic shifting. was in and out and only paid for the labor hour that was used to do the work and was given additional info for the procedures. Always a great place to have work on the car, plus they have a windows waiting room so you can see all the techs working on the vehicles which is fantastic for any of those paranoid customers who think their getting ripped off.

Can't say enough about the level of customer service that I received at Fred Beans in West Chester. Purchased a used 2006 Lincoln Navigator which was kept in extremely good condition. The service center had a list of the routine maintenance items that were taken care of prior to being put out on the lot. Logan our salesman was very helpful, and knowledgeable about the vehicles we looked at. The inventory is very impressive, given the family of dealerships that Fred Beans has. Whether you're looking to buy new or used, I would definitely recommend Fred Beans Ford.

We have been made many car purchases over the years and this particular purchase involved a first car for our son. Prior to embarking on our journey, said son was given the gruesome details of the car buying process. Once we had donned our battle gear and loaded ourselves down with the provisions we'd need to hang in for the long haul, we were off. First stop (of a planned 5) was Fred Beans Ford Lincoln of West Chester. None of us had ever been to this dealership or any Fred Beans dealership for that matter. We ended our car search right where we started - and not because of pressure - there wasn't an ounce of pressure applied. That fact alone may have attributed to our odd longing to "wait for it" when was the pressure coming? Of course I say this in jest, however, it was odd! We had the BEST car buying experience in our over 30 years of car buying. Our salesman, Dave Vrencur was great! The process was FASTER than any car purchase we've ever experienced and it was painless and NOT THE LEAST BIT stressful. We would, without a doubt, consider buying from Fred Beans in the future. Our son is THRILLED with his car and we couldn't have been happier with the process. Thank you!!!

Newly involved with Fred Beans for work vehicle; level of responsiveness by sales team was worst-in class 3-4 weeks between first call and last call. Fleet manager's voicemail was always full which is a sign that this is not a one off.

Admin team great to try and find a solution, escalated to Sales manager.

Sales manager unhelpful and condescending. If this was a personal vehicle I would take me business elsewhere. I will change my tune of things get better but as of now I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go to another dealer that respects their customers.

My issue is that I went to buy a car from this dealership. I picked out a 2008 Pontiac G5 and finally got financed through Santander (one of the dealerships 'go to' banks to finance people with little to no credit). The vehicle was not in a condition to get me back home (Elkton, MD.) so I had asked the dealership if they could do anything about the tires on the vehicle. The sales manager I spoke to was very rude and tried to make me feel bad about asking about new tires. I was disgusted, but I was polite, thanked him for his time and left. I never signed paperwork that bound me to this vehicle. I have a buyers order that states if I decided not to take the vehicle, I will not have to pay anything. It is 10/09/2015 and I have been calling the dealership and finance company for weeks. The contract still has not been cancelled and the dealership finally sent back money for the vehicle on 10/06/2015 but it was not enough to cover what the loan was for. I am extremely upset as I was lied to about the money being sent back various times and my credit has tanked 60 points because of this open account that the dealership has yet to send back all the money for. I am beyond disgusted and upset with everything that has gone on. My sales guy, finance manager and sales manager were all very rude and have not been helpful. I don't appreciate them trying to take advantage of me since I am only 20 and they knew I was not getting my parents involved in the deal. All they saw from me was that I was an easy commission. They didn't care if I made it home in the vehicle, or if I was getting treated fairly.

I would like this to be taken off of my credit report and the account closed effective 10/02/2015 when the deal was called off. I do not want to keep playing games and going back and forth. I'm trying to build my credit and get a loan for another vehicle that I have found, but that is impossible with an open account for $8k on my credit report that I have refused to pay because I do not have the vehicle.

Terrible service department. I went in for a factory recall on my fuel pump. I picked it up in the afternoon and was told it was low on gas. I was annoyed that they didn't replace my gas. I immediately filled up the tank and found that the fuel gauge still showed an empty tank. I took it back and was told to just drive around and maybe it would start to work (!). Long story short - I took it back twice and had to rent a car twice - and the gauge now shows full for well longer than it should, and doesn't reflect the true usage. I was told that the diagnostic check showed no problems and that I should just be sure to reset my mileage every time I fill up. I will be taking it elsewhere.

Worst service I have ever received. If I could rate 0 stars I would. I am a college student that lives hours away from home, and had brought my car in to this establishment due to a transmission that has failed TWICE now since it has been made. One of the employees there was so disgustingly disrespectful to me from the time I walked in there until the point where I had to say something to him, and had disrespected both my mother, and father on the phone as well. Will not be returning, and will be speaking to a manager about said employee whenever one decides to actually be working.

Fred Beans Ford of West Chester and their employees, especially Christophe Alchenberger, go out of their way to help their customers. I realized last minute that my car inspection was about to expire and my normal dealership could not fit me in on the day I had off of work. Not only did Fred Beans Ford of West Chester fit me in last minute, it didn't matter that my car was not a Ford, AND they were able to shuttle me to and from the dealership so I didn't have to sit and wait for my car! The worst service. They don't honor the prices on their website. I went in with appt and test drived it. Then once we got to the desk and I explained I had a preapproval from my bank, they said i would have to apply through their finance institutions so the could at least earn something. I agreed as long as rate was similar. Then they went to talk and returned saying price was a typo the price was 6,000 more with a 2000 discount they were giving me. They weren't apologetic. They kept saying it was the reality reality and that there is a disclaimer on the bottom of the web page about pricing. Wasted my time and energy. Very upsetting car buying experience. And they seemed happy when I was leaving.
Don't go there unless your willing to pay more than what is on the website.

I am only giving Fred Beans one star solely for their sales team, because if this was just for the service center, they would certainly be receiving zero stars. When I bought my car, I bought an additional service package that provided coupons for free oil changes, percentage off tires, etc. This was a big mistake because the first time I went (a year after I bought my car), I was informed I needed new tires immediately and new front/back brakes. They WAY overcharged me - I paid $1500 for the tires and back brakes. I went back 6 months later (for my free oil change) and they basically told me that if I didn't repair my front brakes immediately, they could fail at any point. $600 later I had new front brakes.. It's not even worth it to me to get the "free" oil change since it turns into at least $600 every time I go so I will not be returning to Fred Beans. Great place to go if you want to pay double for the work you're getting done!

I just bought a car from there and had a wonderful experience with Mohamed! He greeted us as soon as we arrived and was straight forward with us the entire way. He was easy to talk to and never tried to pressure to or rush us out. The entire staff that I met was friendly and very helpful. I was in the market for a Pre owned Ford F450 tow truck. Found a 2016 F450 DRW with a Jerrdan Wrecker at Fred Beans Ford of Westchester after looking on line for a couple of weeks. Spoke to a commercial salesmen by the name of Dan Hixon. Told Dan Hixon I was looking to pay all cash no financing and would pay and arrange for my own transport back to Chicago IL where my tow business is located. Also told Dan Hixon repeatedly that I was looking for a truck that was in good condition and that if I was to spend $48,000 cash I would like the truck to be maintaince free for at least a year. Dan Hixon assured me that the truck was in excellent mechanical condition and would not need any mechanical work at all. I agreed wired them the money and set up transport about a week later the truck arrived at my location. As soon as I got in the truck after the transport took it off his truck I noticed that the truck said trailer connected and right turn signal fault. I called Dan Hixon and told him what was going on and he told me that he had told me about the issue and that I had declined the work. In reality he had told me about the issue and said that it would be taken care of by there service department before the truck was shipped to Chicago. The diagnosis was the truck needed a complete rear cab wiring harness the entire wiring harness that controls the entire rear cab. I had it replaced at my local dealer at a cost of $3384.00 I had left the truck that same day on my driveway at my home overnight. The next morning when I came outside to take the truck out I noticed a huge coolant leak by the driver front side. The diagnosis was the truck needed a radiator a water pump and upper and lower coolant hoses. Also had to have the spark plugs replaced because the were torched. Cost for that was around $1900.00 I had it done. On top of all that I had to put tires on the truck as well they kept running low on air only to find out that 4 out of 6 tires had huge stress cracks that air was leaking from. Cost for 6 new tires $2900.00. In all I have spent over 8k in maintenance on this truck in the first two weeks of ownership. Thank goodness that i have been working hard and saving my money for years and was able to afford the repairs that were needed to keep my business going. I would not recommend Fred Beans Ford of Westchester to anyone i know. After all the maintaince i had to do to this truck I honestly belive they have a horrible service department. Whoever did the used vehicle inspection on my truck should be terminated immediately. Also Dan Hixon and his Used car manger are Liars and swindlers. After owning the truck for less then a week i was told by both of them that I was on my own and they just didn't care because I had signed an as is after Dan Hixon told me that if anything went wrong within the first month they would take care of it. Watch out with there used vehicle inventory and there incompetent service department. NOT AN HONEST PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH.

After visiting many different dealerships, I just leased a new Explorer. This Explorer exceeded my expectations. I was torn between Ford and Honda, but it was my experience at Fred Beans Ford or West Chester that helped me make the final decision. It is difficult to feel confident as a woman shopping alone for a car. The sales team and managers were not condescending, were very knowledgeable, and helped me find the perfect car for my family. This is the first time I left a dealership feeling like I was not taken advantage of and will definitely be back for my next car!

I had to have my car towed in there for service. I have never been a customer of theirs and now i dont think i will have my car serviced anywhere else. I spoke with a Christoph who was so patient with me and took the time to explain things to me. He even told me about this reward program where if i got my car serviced there i earn these points towards my down payment on another car. Dealerships get a bad wrap for servicing your car because of price and i was so happy with Fred Beans they were the same price as my mechanic but way more knowledgeable. Thanks Christoph!

We chose to do our initial search for a truck at Fred Bean's following a positive experience buying our last two VW's at his Malvern dealership. We were not disappointed ! Joy Smith was very helpful and patient with both our questions and dealing with the "back and forth" nature of negotiating. I'd give her a 5 star rating on her responding to our needs. We have never put a lot of stock in always buying from the same family of dealerships in the past, but after having bought three cars at Fred Bean's, I feel safe to say this is our dealership.

After dealing with my local ford dealer in Egg Harbor Township, NJ for about two weeks without any results in the search to find a Transit Connect van with the features I wanted, I decided to look online to find it on my own. That s when I ran across Fred Beans. I called up to the dealership and spoke to salesman Mark Uschold. We talked price and discounts, we basically did most of the deal right over the phone, which was great for me because I live about 90 miles away from them. He was very helpful and professional. When I got there I was greeted warmly by Mark and the other members of the staff. Scott Blum from finance was also a great help in getting this deal done. He found me a very good interest rate, I mean a VERY VERY good interest rate. This is the first time I purchased a new car without wanting to pull my hair. I was very impressed.

My wait time was short which was great because i had my two small Children with me. They had blocks for the kids to play with. I did not feel pressured for any additional service. Overall, I had a great experience recently with this dealership and more particularly I worked with the Green Service Team led by Christophe. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well as being open/honest about what work was needed on my car. After I had a small issue come up after a service check, they fixed my car free of charge because it was the right thing to do. Some places look to make money on you wherever they can, but I believe that this dealership did what was only necessary to fix my car and I didn't feel ripped off in any way at the end of it all. Will be going back for any future service!

Before I made it into the store I was greeted and introduce to the members of the staff that was working at the time! That being said, they were not pushy or forceful with there approach to sales. I worked with Al Ubaldini and I never felt pressured into a deal. Al helped educate me in some of the features of the car I was interested in and truly made me feel comfortable with the vehicle. I was extremely appreciative in Al s ability to work with me when I gave him a price. Al offered several different routes which would help me pay what I needed to pay while still remaining in my set price range and never alienating me or making me feel like I had to buy now. I highly recommend Fred Beans to anyone seriously considering purchasing a new or used vehicle.

We just left there after receiving terrible service from a salesman. I could go into a long diatribe about the exchange but the reality was the salesman was not interested in helping us at all. We were looking for a specific option but inquired on 3 different model types and he was just pointing and saying contradictory things. When I said "u just don't seem to want to help us" he literally said "whatever then, bye", which started a few more subtle nasty exchanges myself included at that point. Terrible service and will not be visiting again or recommending to anyone. Actually the opposite.
