Absolutely fantastic meal. Everything in the meal was splendid, and the service from Chris was next level. Highly recommend Frasca to anyone looking for fantastic food with the best service in Colorado.

I would ve honestly rated this experience much less but server extraordinaire s Ryan and Sergei made our entire evening! Their customer service and attention to detail was absolutely amazing. Celebrating an anniversary and coming to Boulder from the East Coast to specifically eat at this restaurant could have been an entire disappointment. The quality of food we expected compared to what was presented was definitely underwhelming and at points, unappetizing. Thank you both for saving the day!!!

This place is so great! I cannot say enough good things about it honestly. Their servers are top notch, the food is very good and I like the ambiance. I always take people visiting Boulder to Frasca, and have never had a poor experience

If you are like me and have a hard time deciding what to eat or drink, you must visit the place on a Monday , where they serve only 1 five course meal and a pre selected wine flights. The portion size is just small enough to enjoy all the courses

Wines are impressive, so is the staff's knowledge of the wine list. Service is polished.
The kitchen is the weak link here. Incredibly mediocre with some astounding mistakes the night I was there in early December. Salted-to-the-point-of-curing quail (some overzealous commercial base reduction?) Woefully undercooked pappardelle. Anyone can have a bad night, but none of my other selections were really memorable, either. Ambition in a dish doesn't always equal success. This place could use a great kitchen to go with great wines.

We went to Frasca for dinner this past Saturday and I can say without a shred of exaggeration that it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Each course was presented beautifully and the pacing was spot on.

The Wagyu ravioli was absolutely spectacular in particular. I cannot even describe how beautifully the Wagyu steak was prepared. I took awhile to eat it because I wanted to savor every bite and it to last as long as my will power would allow. The ambience is flawless and service impeccable - friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable staff.

Gazpacho, crab and asparagus appetizer, gnocchi, and the duck. For dessert the smoked sorbet was interesting but the best was the orange blossom honey concoction. We had wine pairings as well and all solid choices. Not cheap but a good choice for special occasions. Recommend. amazing

When we decided to visit Boulder, first thing we did was to reserve a table at Frasca. We had heard so many good reviews about Frasca and all of them were true!
Fancy place and perfect location! Staff was very friendly. And food? Outstanding!! We took the 7 course tasting menu and all the courses were mindblowing .
We cannot wait to visit Boulder's Frasca once more!

The food was good but wasn't really mind blowing like we were expecting. But i think it might be due to my expectations being sky high since I came here because they got a james beard award. I accidentally stumbled upon a james beard award winning restaurant in portland and their halibut was just mind-blowingly soft and delicious. Anyways, I want to give this place 10-stars for their stellar service.

REVIEW EDITED 02/26/2019 - After my initial review, management at Frasca went above and beyond to reach out to me regarding my experience. I can say that their desire to improve their service going forward was impressive. I have decided to increase my rating based off their willingness to listen to and resolve my issues. Thank you Frasca for your professionalism, we hope to dine again soon!! ******Original review as follows****** Let me begin by saying, my husband and I have dined at some of the best restaurants in the world, Eleven Madison Park in NYC, Pujol in Mexico City, Quintonil in Mexico City and Osteria Francescana in Italy. Having said this, I was not impressed with Frasca. We went for Valentines day, which may have been a mistake, the food wasn't anything that knocked me off my feet. They had advertised that the heart shaped cuori de carne would be served with heart shaped pieces of truffle (ref. instagram/facebook) that did not happen. Our bill was over $400 and we stopped elsewhere after leaving for another bite to eat because the courses were immensely small. The most unsatisfactory part, aside from the food being lackluster, was the speed in which the dishes came. We arrived at 7:15 and were out the door by 8:15pm. In my opinion, and from what we have experienced dining at the restaurants I have mentioned above, a multi course menu is best enjoyed slowly. In conclusion, I can say without a doubt that we will not be dining at Frasca again, I can think of at least 3 other restaurants in Colorado that are more deserving of our $400.00

A neatly appointed room. The carpaccio was good. The cocktail was also interesting.

Scallops were great. My black cod was too salty. The ravioli-like pasta (something like "cjotolan") was also too chive-y.

I enjoyed it but would not really want to go again. I prefer pizzeria locale next door.

Italian food and the setting at this place is great. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. Bring your appetite because portions are generous. Atmosphere is similar to a cafe in San Jose I loved.

Basically this is the worst restaurant in the entire world, and everybody working here should commit seppuku for the culinary, nay MORAL disaster that is their food and wine selection. One of the pretentious worthless owners boasts that he has an "MS" in wine tasting or whatever. It sounds like a Masters of Science and he claims that under 100 people hold such a degree, but really what it means "Somehow all the wine I choose tastes like I put my genitals in the bottle." The menu is full of overpriced trash, that relies on the old mechanism of "make stupid people think it tastes better by charging more for it." But if you look past the lies you see a pretentious waste of precious boulder real estate that could be better spent on a massive drain in which homeless people can relieve themselves. I hope this place gets condemned by the city.

truly lovey 4 course meal. all the dishes had unique and delicious flavors with beautiful presentations. Even on the sidewalk, they managed to create a lovely ambiance. The service was very high quality; our server was very professional and made informed and excellent drink suggestions. recommend

Average to awful. Wear your skinny jeans. Prepare earplugs to weather the maitre'd screaming that the 4-course seems wiser than the so-called chef's menu -- AFTER you've ordered the chef's fail. A grilled cat would've been better than the cold undercooked deer leg they got from a mountain lion' catch on Sanitas...12 days ago. What a joke.

Food was way too salty and really not special. Wine was terrible. Even if the bill had not been 3 times what it should have been, I would not eat here again. We traveled from Fort Collins, having heard this was the best food in Boulder, and I was greatly disappointed. I brought home the tiny meat portion in a doggy bag for my son. I could not eat the noodles because they were so loaded with salt. The vegetables were a very small portion of winter squash and a very small portion of root crops that I make at home. The white wine we ordered separately was good but the wine flight was terrible. Never again.
