I feel very privileged to be able to live on the Mornington Peninsula and can use PARC as my local gym/pool/leisure facility. Each morning, when I walk in for my daily swim, the staff are cheerful and offer a friendly greeting. The pool is 50 m and wonderfully maintained. The lifeguards are professional but approachable and I feel safe as I'm splashing around like a beached whale ... which everyone politely thinks is swimming! The gym and other facilities (although I never go near them for fear of actually feeling like I'm exercising) look amazing. A great crowd of people use PARC and it's great for families.
The pool facilities itself are great (hence the two stars, otherwise my rating would have been lower) but our experience at the swim school was rubbish. From the first week it was very clear my daughter had been placed in the wrong class level, the teacher herself acknowledged it but before it was corrected she left and we then changed teachers for the next 3 weeks with no one staying long enough to give any lessons of value or arrange my daughter s shift to the correct level. We stayed for 4 weeks total and that was only becuse we had to give 2 weeks notice. When I withdrew my children so soon no one bothered to ask why, they couldn t care less. It s like a sausage factory swim school, so many lanes jammed together and they just churn through the lessons. I suggest finding somewhere more personal and invested in your child.
Very good gym facilities there they're also classes available I would recommend them they have top-notch swimming facilities as well talking to the staff there very easy to talk to about any issues or even just a basic question
Good fun. There are two slides which makes this a fun day for the two kids. The water quality is good without not too much chlorine so it is really refreshing dipping myself and relax without irritation on my eyes n skin. The safety guards are very strict on safety watching out for kids. Well worth a trip for me to travel far from away to frankston to enjoy this. The only downside is the 3 hrs parking limit and also ticketed paid parking.
Very good gym but quite pricy too. Cancellation times are also quite long so be mindful when U sign a contract
Unfortunately we were so disappointed after paying full price yet both slides were out of action and no water features in the toddler pool were working. And the water was exceptionally cold the kids were blue :( Won't be returning.
Wish I still lived close. Best indoor pool I've ever used
A wonderfull place for the kids at the pool and an awesome upgrade of the gym area.
Great facilities. 50m pool is shortened to 25m in the afternoons though which can be frustrating wanting to swim 50's after work during week.
Wonderful facilities. Great for family. Gentle exercise in the hydrotherapy pool, spa and much more.
Excellent amenities and helpful staff. Great parking and nice cafe with good coffee.
Great gym but it can get very busy and over-crowded
I take my daughter to swimming lessons at PARC and she loves it. Thery have a great playground for kids, and the staff have always been fantastic.
Great heated pools, excellent children's facilities, two waterslides and plenty of helpful staff and lifesavers.
My kids love coming here and it's a good entertainment for a couple of hours. Down think is that the worm water pool is always used for classes
I love love love love this gym! I attend classes pretty regularly, the instructors are amazing! The cafe serves great coffee and the venue has excellent customer service!
Since being back after the lockdown it s been tough for most. Jayden Cox PT has been great with supporting members and his passion and knowledge in the fitness industry should be acknowledged by management. Thank you Jayden.
Fell of the inflatable raft in the water slide hurt my back and was told by an employee not to jump off the raft when i FELL OFF
Very very busy. Nice pools but have to time it right.
Parking a nightmare too due to how popular this place is but it's for good reason.
Excellent gym and pool facilities. Very good staff, and very well managed. Equipment is well maintained and kept up to date.
Great place to bring the kids. School holidays will have the floating obstacle course too
My son absolutely loves the pools, water playground and large slides! A great place to escape the heat in summer and have tonnes of fun!
we had fun but the people taken away in the ambulance obviously didn't
Excellent children's water play and water slides for the bigger kids. Lovely therapy pool for the oldies with disability access.
it's about time that PARC re-opened. They need to implement, the necessary Covid 19 restrictions or employ additional to constantly clean everything.
Amazing place to take the kids for some fun. The water slides were so much fun and the adventure course was awesome. There is a mini water park for the little kids and bigger pools to just laze in, or swim laps if you'd like. There are plenty of lockers to put your items in. I highly recommend an afternoon here
Great for your fitness, friendly, helpful staff!:-).
My gym, my home from home. Staff are great, facilities are awesome.
The facilities are top-notch but the clientele can be very rude.
As i have an ongoing muesle problem I need to visit here daily in the hydro pool. It's great staff are welcoming and know there regulars. I like how the pool is seperate to the other activities. They also provide physio's at a discount which is very helpful for me. Sometimes they have relaxing music but not very often I wish they did. They have 3 types of change rooms which is good.
Be carefull when you sign up,i did something silly and cant get out of it ,cost me $406.00 , so if your my age (72) and the young person talks very fast and i just said yes to all ,then come home and saw what i had done ,good bye money .My husband was with me he is very deaf and 77 years old so i cant blame him he just went along with what i said .So good bye $406.00 .But its a very nice place ,just not what i wanted .i will go there when he is having good days ,he has parkinsons.
Excellent facilities, great for the kids and staff are friendly - thank you
Amazing place he has it all... Pool, gym, classes and friendly staff.
Great place for the kids. Best caters for the 6-11 age range.
Love it, staff excellent and always happy to assist! Great facilities and amazing classes!
Don't like having to pay private operator prices for council owned facility.
Very big with heaps of lap lanes but also kids play are and massive waterside.
Hydro pool fabulous for working out with injuries well supervised. Spotless. Childrens pool separate. Every child will love it.
Paying $2 an hour for parking is a bit rich. The hydrotherapy pool is great but crowded. No kids in that section though - you have to pay extra for it.
The center itself is really good, but most of the staff are just terrible. I had heard things from people previously but decided to check it out anyway.
And their customer service is really just awful.
They closed the pool and told Everyone to just get out without Any explanation At All, not even by the pool manager that came down. Everyone was just standing around waiting for them to say something or explain the situation, Nothing.
Turns out someone had vomited in the pool, as we overheard them discussing it and WE had to tell other people, other parents (that I did not know) also commented as to why They didn't just tell people what was going on? It was so strange.
You really need to train your personal properly, how they need to communicate with people if they're going to work in that kind of setting, it's very unprofessional, immature and juvenile.
I even saw one short haired blonde staff member waiting in line for face paint at one point with a line of small children behind them, making customers that paid for entry (and most likely parking) to wait? What's that about? Never have I seen that before at any establishment I've been to.
It would have been really good, it's just their staff at the Parc Really let the place down.
Oh I went to go throw rubbish in the bin too and it was overflowing (mind you there are all these people in the kitchen just standing around) I had a lady standing next to the bin say "disgusting isn't it.."
Even in the changing rooms nappy bins are overflowing, no write up on the board when the last maintenance was done, obviously hadn't even bother with it. Funny that there are so many staff members just walking around not doing anything.
I wanted to get a membership to this place but I'll definitely pass until they start training or hiring proper staff. Probably just get a membership to somewhere else tbh.
The water slides are AWESOME! Kids love it and so do I. Kids pool is well heated however the bigger and deeper pool is kind of cold compared to it. My kids had loads of fun in the water park too! Cheers
Great place to go and reasonably priced for all the different classes you can do. Love it
Clean and safe facilities, the staff were helpful and respectful at all times.
I auctually felt like my children were safe at this swimming facility.
I feel A child friendly crowd is important to young children and PARC Frankston REALLY ticked all the boxes for us.
Even lost my mobile phone and it was handed in.
It is ticketed parking but refundable upon entry.
Highly recommended
Great pool and recreation for kids all ages. Great slides. Best public pool we have been to.
I have been a member since opening around 3 yrs ago . There is so much to see and do at Parc , the trainers make excersise fun and with an average of 32 gym classes per day why would you go anywhere else!!
My kids love the pool , such an awesome venue for frankston.
Staff are constantly cleaning , hygene standards are 10/10
The website is easy to navigate and is constantly updating information regarding trainers, school holiday fun, group timetables etc .
The lockers that people mention are not difficult at all , oh and have instructions if you cannot opperate (much easier than padlocks and keys !)
I highly recommend Parc to others
Great place for the kids to swim with shallow pools and the water park
Great facility that provides for a wide range of physical activities that improve all over wellbeing
If you are a pensioner, the admission prices are a bit much, especially if you want to swim everyday for your better health. The daily casual rate becomes quite expensive over a period of time. And if you want to join a plan over a year, you have to pay up front for the year, which on a disability pension l certainly couldn't afford. So I have to choose between my health and surviving each week. So with the prices I can only use facility
every now and then, or I can't afford to eat and pay my bills. So there goes the health. So the facility isn't really affordable for everyone.
This place is amazing!! The locker system is a bit funky (a lot of the numbers are missing), but all in all it's great!!
Great facilities, but goodluck getting any type of workout in when group classes are on.
My two boys are currently enrolled for swimming lessons. The lessons are good quality but I've got an issue that I was still fully billed over the holiday period even though no lessons. The feedback is that I should have suspended this period online. I was not aware I was expected to do this. I understand we could access the facilities, but feel that the lesson-free periods should be cheaper at least.
Love the pools, staff are nice. But just wasted my money on a swim I couldn't have. Got kicked out of pool with shallow end when i needed it to do therapy. Understand only now that availability is on website, but that didn't help me this situation. Feel ripped off and unimpressed with the service. Check website before you go in!
The best sauna and spa situation you'll find in a local pool, and a decent 25m pool too. And the slides are great, almost a waterpark. Take a book to the Jacuzzi
Great place for children. They have heated pools where babies can be introduced to water, as well as loads of activities for toddlers/children. Our son loved going down the little red slides!
The aquatic centre was really nice. Clean, well presented and big. The 2 slides are fantastic. Great play area for the kids. 2 things let it down. 1. The parking is expensive, why charge parking for a place you pay to enter! 2. The machine that carries the floats for the slide were broken so had to carry up 4 flights of stairs... Staff was helpful and friendly, reasonably clean. Canteen area had bins overfull and tables not cleaned...
Good gym, clean and modern with good facilities and a wide range of exercise classes. All communications with them have been easy and pleasant. Have not used pool area so I can't comment on that. Overall really happy with my membership.
Great gym and pool. Staff are lovely and helpful. So many opinions for everyone that you'll find something that suits you.
My kids love it here and all the swimming instructors we have experienced so far have all done a great job teaching our son to swim. He looks forward to it every week.
Joining up as a member was very unprofessional.. I have never visited PARC before therefore I had no idea where anything was. The lady that attended to my application did not inform me of any pointers that I needed to know, she just pointed me in the direction of the hydro pool that I was going to for a class. I had to ask other people at random where the lockers were how to use them, etc etc... Saw another staff member on the way out And she was very helpful And filled me in lots of things, overall I was disappointed with the introduction to PARC, after having found out a lot more I'm sure I will enjoy my time there!
