Great dealer, always helpful and happy to go the extra mile.

Here's the sort of thing that impresses me. I walk into Fox River HD, get to the parts counter, (everyone was friendly and said hello on the way) and I ask the guy for a piddly $1 part. Throttle cable ferule. Every other HD dealer I have ever did that to before, acted all put out. While this gentleman made a face, it was only because he didn't think he had one. But he took the time, looked it up, and it was my lucky day. I added a can of chain lube and thought to myself, I'll give these folks a chance to earn some of my money in the future. Also, they had a very nice selection of bikes. If you can't find what you are looking for here, I would be surprised.

Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of motorcycles to pick from, almost too many.

Wow I don t even know where to begin with writing this review. I ve never been one to write reviews or do surveys but the service I received from Fox River Harley Davidson was second to none. I started my shopping experience at American Heritage Motorcycles in South Elgin. I found a Harley there that I really liked. There was going to be a wait of a few days until me and my wife could purchase this particular bike because they didn t officially own it on trade yet. We decided we would go window shop at Fox River Harley since we had the desire to ride and thought we might rent one for the day to cure our riding fever until we finalized the deal on our other bike. Immediately upon walking through the door we noticed 3 gentlemen sitting at the front desk when you walk in. My normal experience is people in this environment acting too good and not very friendly. I was immediately proved wrong. Jimmy came up to me and gave me a firm handshake and introduced himself. I initially tried brushing him off as we were set on a bike and would feel guilty wasting someone s time. I explained to him that I had a troubled financial past and my credit score was too low to be able to get a deal done anyways so no thanks. Jimmy then introduced me to Brian the sales manager. The 4 of us talked for a while about my options and Brian kept me confident that he could help us improve our credit and explained how the process worked. His experience in the mortgage industry carried over well as he explained things for credit to me. I was skeptical but listened. He showed me a beautiful 07 ULTRA CLASSIC SCREAMIN' EAGLE CVO. I laughed it off because I knew I couldn t get approved for the loan. He asked me what I wanted to pay a month and I gave him the number. After working with finance for a hew hours he had me approved with almost the same I had put down at the other dealership and a lower payment. The experience and the effort the staff put into my first Harley purchase was amazing and I am very grateful. The amazing service and professionalism is only second to the roaring of bikes, horns, and cheers as you walk out of Michael s office for your finance paperwork. I can t say enough about this experience. Please give them a chance to help you before you take these negative reviews to heart. VERY MILITARY FRIENDLY as well!

Loved this place. One of the nicest Harley dealership I have ever seen. Very clean and beautiful display of motorcycles. If you like motorcycles this will be your haven.

Bought my 2017 Roadster there. Jerry and Shawn were awesome and made my purchase experience painless.
I asked for a test drive on an 883 and the roadster. They let me try both of them and I quickly made up my mind after being on the fence for a couple of years.
I left my "learner " bike there and they offered to take it to my house. They deliver it next day. I got to ride my new bike after the purchase. Truly a memorable experience (I had not been to a dealership to buy a new vehicle in over 10 years).
The ringing if the bell and the staff congratulating me was awesome too.

Overall it was great customer service, painless processing of paperwork and the best: a new Harley Davidson motorcycle to my name

Fox River is the best. I've been to several Harley dealers in the past. This will be the only place I will go from now on. The staff is full of great people. I had no pressure from staff to buy anything that I wasn't 100 percent happy with buying. Got me on the bike I wanted. 100 percent satisfied with purchasing from them. Thank you.

Fox River HD has a great store and even better staff,the selection of Bikes there is impressive, I'd recommend this location to anyone,we rode 7 hours from missouri to get the bike we wanted

Had my bike taken in for yearly check and oil change. They said the bike was ready a week earlier but weather was not good for the test ride they do before finishing a job. Weather improved and i requested to pick up the bike on Wed. Got called out of town and ended up going to pick it up on Fri. Was told bike was still not tested and i would need to wait another hour or so. After waiting i left the dealership and got about 1 Mile before running out of gas. Fyi i left them with a half a tank. They did give me a discount but i still feel the frustration and poor communication was not worth it. Will not be going back to this location.

Worst experience ever. Traded four bikes to them, and very unhappy with the service they provided. They treat everyone like they're morons. This is the last place on earth I'd go to do business with. Not recommend for anyone.

Nice, modern facility with friendly, helpful staff. Great variety of bikes and accessories, at reasonable prices. They even helped me with some care products for my BMW.

Phenomenal dealership, when you visit your treated like family, the staff is knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the customer. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon and it was the best/smoothest big purchase I've had in a long while.

On 09/23/2017, I went to the dealer with the intent on riding in the governor s ride to Springfield to benefit Honor Flight for our soldiers of wars past. However, my 2014 Ultra Limited had other ideas and was showing a solid red security light telling me something was wrong. Quickly checking my book, I figured my security fob just needed the battery changed, which i did with the help of the dealer, which wasn't even quite open yet but welcomed me in any way. However, after changing the battery the light remained indicating bigger problems and upon further inspection noticed half of my lights were out! Hoping to still make the ride, I rode back to service and met the service writer Tony and he quickly took my bike back to the back to see what the issue was. While waiting for my bike, I ran into Brian the sales manager and after sharing my story with him, immediately offered to set me up on another bike so that I could still go on the ride. Hoping that the issue was going to be quick I declined wanting to wait for my bike and the meantime, I was asked by the service foreman, Dave and the technician, Evan to come back to service and talk with them directly about my bike. Long story short and some four hours later between myself, Dave and Evan, we figured out that the HD LED bar that goes across the batwing had a broken wire inside causing the system to register excessive draw error causing the red light on my speedo and accounting for the loss of my lights. I stood there and watched these guys work over my bike like they were on fire trying to get me back on the road and right into their lunch hour to boot! It was a great learning experience for me as I watched the two of them troubleshoot the circuit inch for inch and if you have ever done this, you know what a absolute pain in the ass it is! As this issue was as clear as mud with not a lot to go on. While talking to them and helping where I could, I mentioned that the last great service and mechanic I had previous to my recent wrench who is no longer in the business was Fishers Harley Davidson in Elgin. Upon hearing that Dave looked me straight in the face and said "well then, you should recognize me because I was the service manager there for many years" As soon as he said that it all came flooding back from 2004, which is the last time I steeped foot in there because Zylstra Harley Davidson had bought out Fishers and quickly began in my opinion destroying the greatest thing going and soon got rid of everybody I ever knew from my service writer to my manager to my mechanic and that was it for me! I'm very particular and I'm a one service advisor and technician kind of guy and don t just let anyone work on my bikes. Talk about everything happens for a reason, so not only did I get my bike fixed, but I have my service foreman back and my old mechanic, Kevin along with Evan and I'm thrilled! Brian Has done a great job turning around the past damage done to this dealer even though it was no longer Zylstra, as there was a time I wouldn t step foot in this dealership! That all started to change back in 2014, after moving to St. Charles and looking for a new HOG group and meeting Brian, which I joined and now with my repair incident and having my old crew back is outstanding. Dave and his boys are just as good as they were back in 2002-2004ish as they are now! Tony, Brian, Evan and Dave are outstanding and more than took care of me!

Edward Huntley, Brandon Williams, and the staff at Fox River H-D made my decision easy. With their expertise I was able to find the right ride for me within (literally) minutes of walking into their warehouse of bikes. I'll be bringing in my father to pick up his new ride soon. 10/10

They also sell Triumph, Vespa, and Aprilia. What a great line up

They will do the work you ask, break something else, and charge you to fix it.

I have an '04 sporty and do all my work myself, only thing I can't do is mount and balance tires. I had just done my pads and brake fluid less than a week before my tire change appointment. Drove in with working brakes, then they called me up saying my rear brake doesn't work. I got my bike home and found they had replaced my rear brake fluid with some unknown fluid and blamed me. They wanted to charge me $350 to fix what they did to my bike. I have photos, videos, and saved the unknown liquid I found in my brake line and reservoir, and now they will not even respond or acknowledge me and their mistake.

I really hope you don't take your bike here, because I guarantee that you'll receive a call saying there's something wrong with it when there wasn't to begin with.

Note:

I'm posting the photos on my Facebook review. I took them while fixing their mistake. As you can see there was some clear liquid in my reservoir, and the same liquid coming out the caliper as I was bleeding it. I bled just a little off my front and you can see it's purple Dot 5, just like the cap and manual say to use.

Friendly staff, very helpful, good selection of men's boots, clothing. Will go here again.

Ive had quite the horror story and big mess going on on a 2018 RGS That I purchased in September2017 from a different dealer. And while I m not on here to bash the other dealer or anyone. I m here to say that Brian Rapier and Freddie Castillo went above and beyond for me. And have earned a customer for life. As well as anyone I know I will refer them to this dealer. They did not have to help me or get involved at all. As it had nothing to do with them. But when they heard from my very good friend Mike what was going on. They immediately told him to tell me to come see them and they would make it right. And they did just that. They stepped in and made it right in less then 2 weeks on something that the other dealers been stroking me around and lying to me about since September. They owed me nothing they didn t have to help me but they still stepped up and made it right. And now I can finally put this nightmare and big mess behind me. Anyone in the market for a bike or just needing service or warranty work head over and see my guys at fox River Harley. Where They will go above and beyond for you. Thanks again guys You Rock!!! And I really appreciate it.

came in and changed my mind 3 times on a bike. when it was all said and done they were the best people who knew and understood that if you don't feel happy with the first purchase then they will make sure you are happy before you leave even if it takes all day. Had my bike serviced here after an accident. When I got it returned they had forgotten to complete all repairs claimed by the insurance company. It s as if they ignored the damaged the insurance claims department found. The worst is that some of the repairs were done very sloppy. The flush mounted push up gas cap had silicon/adhesive oozing out and visible. I returned the bike after the riding season to finish the repairs. And the ring around the gas cap fell off after my first fill up. I expected more. Will have to service my bike somewhere else.

Purchased my latest bike a 2019 RGU back in October. Great place to buy you're harley. Brandon in sales and Jonathan the sales manager where amazing.

Wanted to buy a bike but sales manager wants too much, bike is used and price is close to a new model. Wanted to work with the guy buy he was acting like he was too busy selling new to be bothered. We go there all the time but that just turned me off, maybe go to other dealer and see how they act. I know they make money on sales but not that much$

They have a fantastic selection of bikes and accessories. They have a big assortment of T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts and jackets. They have Dixxon brand clothing available also. If you ride then you should own at least a couple Dixxon flannels! The cashier was helpful and super nice.

I can wait for the weather to get better . . . The people are very helpful . . .

I tell you I have been in the automotive business for over 20 years. These guys are a class act the know their stuff from the salesman Shawn, sales manager Brian, and the finance manager Mike. Every one was vary pleasant to deal with from parts to clothing. I will recommend FOX RIVER HARLEY to all my friends and clients that are thinking about a bike.

Great rally point and organizer for Autism Speak !

I will never go back to this location never again unprofessional people they want me to sign a deal even before I test drive the bike. Plus about of 80% of the people inside the store don t even wear a mask including some of the staff.

I came in here last month looking to buy a used bike that I saw in their website and craigslist ad. It was a 99 Honda shadow 1100 (oh no shopping for honda at a harley). Scott (or shawn) greeted me and I told him that I wanted to buy that particular bike. He looked at his "book" and said that it has been sold over the weekend. Seems like he didn't really try to look for what I wanted. I was kinda disappointed but I was still encouraged to look around. So I did and sat on a few bikes but those were out of my price range. He then gave me his business card and off to my merry way I go. A week, two weeks, and a month goes by, that bike I wanted still shows up in their website and craigslist add and the price actually changed. Hmm. I don't think Scott wanted to sell me a cheapo bike.

Amazing experience at Fox River HD. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted and made to feel right at home. Jimmy, my salesman, had the bike I was interested in wheeled out and polished as I walked over to it. After I decided to buy the bike we quickly made a deal on the price and Ryan, the sales manager, was quick to meet my price, and then some. While paperwork was being prepared I was introduced to the apparel department and picked out a free tshirt for my purchase. I made a few apparel purchases as well. I was then introduced to the parts department and service department managers. I was then told my bike would be delivered to my door for free!! After all of the introductions I signed the paperwork with no heavy pressure to buy extra packages. After the sale was complete I rang the bell and EVERY employee at Fox River walked over to me and my bike and shook my hand. I have never been treated so well. Professional all the way around. I strongly recommend. Thanks Jimmy and Ryan!!!

Purchased a 2018 motorcycle from Fox River HD. Bike was used as I paid CT sales tax of 1800.00 bike was delivered unregistered with no plate and a missing title which is still not available after 3 months. Sold me a bike with no title and giving me the run around. I can not register bike in Ct until title surfaces. Dealership is a joke at best. I am currently working with Corporate to rectify this issue. Once this dealership takes your money they don't want to know anything. Very unprofessional and illegal practice!
