Great hospitality, nice designed hotel, relaxing, only for no longer than 2 nights.

Drafting is a must in Ubud

We stayed 4 nights in a pool suite. Water pool pump was defective, it was making noise every night and every evening we had to call for it to be turned off to be able to sleep.
Nature is of course beautiful, but hotel service is not good.
Warning: Four Seasons Sayan does not respect your privacy! They gave my private home address to third parties without asking me.
This is serious breach of privacy.

Second, we booked Mozaic - truly the best place to eat in Bali by the way - we arrived there after 45 min drive just to found out that Four Seasons Sayan did not make any reservation for us.
Luckily they found us a table in the chef s dining room.
Hotel never really apologized for this.
Third, one of their guides recommended us to go to Heavens Gates and said it is only 1.5 hrs drive. We spent 3 hours in the car to get there! And another 3.5 hrs back. Not to mention, we had to wait 3 hours in the queue to get a photo with the Gates!
Hotel guide must worn the guests about the traffic and waiting times! Totally unacceptable.
My friends recommended Cosmo Shambala to stay at. It was fully booked. So we booked FS Sayan. Now I understand why Cosmo was fully booked!

Spectacular! Stay here!! Everything about Four Seasons at Sayan is amazing - the property, the rooms, the service, the spa, the overall feeling. This is the best resort in the world for a reason! You will not be disappointed!

If you are debating between Sayan and other properties, trust me and stay here. We initially thought another property was equal or better than Sayan, but we were sadly mistaken when we arrived. We promptly contacted Four Seasons management and they were spectacular in helping us. They picked us up from our existing hotel and gave us a tour of the property and available rooms. They understood our situation and made us feel right at home with unmatched service and detail.

If you're looking for peace, this place is it! Staff are amazing, they will make you feel like family.

Love the location. amazing Ambiance and gorgeous location. Expensive but worth it for location and free shuttle to ubud city center about five times a day. NOT the for ppl with bad backs or knees as there is a ton of climbing to be done to get around due to hillside setting. There is NO elevator! They do have carts for transport but you will be limited if you have any major joint problems etc. the staff is so welcoming and polite. would def stay here again.

The most spectacular Bali resort in my mine for 20 years.

The ceiling of the villa is high and very spacious. When I got up in the morning, frogs were laying eggs in the pool of the villa. It's just because it's not chlorinated. It was fine as it was, but it was cleaned cleanly when coming back from breakfast.

This resort is incredible. The whole picture is correct. The beautiful jungle, the villa, the staff. Incredible bathing in luxury. The unexpected extras when you get home are really a surprise. Everything is dedicated to making it as pleasant as possible for you as a guest. The food is delicious and the breakfast grandiose. I will never forget this vacation at this resort ..... So many wonderful memories

my husband booked a room at four season by shereton for three days for our honeymoon, these three days turned out to be the most stunning days of my life. new year was around the corner, the new year eves party, food , drinks and dances were fantastic, we bathed in the hot pools, surfaced back in the cold pools, the hotel is set right at the river ayung , the pools adjoins the river, almost making it a perfect place to relax. the ambience is out of this world set against the dense forests of Ubud. but it is very expensive, but worth every penny.

The greatness of the location is as described in various media. There is a bird's nest in the site, and it is a space that feels like being in the forest (with human control).
The staff's service was very comfortable and I enjoyed it during my stay. The food is also very delicious. However, because there are many items, it is necessary to be a little careful with Japanese stomach bags.
I would recommend the same soap in the room you can buy at the souvenir shop. You can enjoy the scent at home.

Afternoon tea snacks look good, but the taste is...

It's no wonder why this is one of the BEST resorts in the entire world. Every detail here has a lot of thought and intention put into it. The service goes above and beyond in every way. The chef at their restaurant personally designed a menu to suit our dietary needs, which we really appreciated! Their wine list was very impressive. The rooms were incredible, we stayed in a two story suite that overlooked the river and rice fields they had set up. The security was also extremely professional, as they do not let just anybody come in. The list of activities were very attractive and had incredibly amazing services. We treated ourselves to their massages and they were simply put, the best and most relaxing. The landscaping of the entire property gave the resort a heavenly feel, with wonderful energy all around. Overall, the whole experience blew us away and we can hardly wait to come back and stay longer. Thank you Four Seasons!

Incredible resort with delicious food and perfect service.

We had a magical time and the most incredible spa service that I have seen in my travels. Voted by Travel and Leisure as the best resort in the world in 2018, Four Seasons Sayan and its incredible staff live up to this award.

The manager, Awin Adiputra, took care of us in the best and most professional way imaginable. I will look forward to another stay at Sayan!!!

The service culture is exceptional, many years ago when I was just launching, even though I came as a restaurant guest with my family and small children, the welcome, gesture of service and communication was very sincere. We even took a golfcart around the resort area and saw several types of rooms available.

The view in all areas is really cute, the service is amazing, just like in the outdoor restaurant area next to the swimming pool. Food and drinks don't need to be asked anymore .. Tabik for management and staff, from the security guard in front to the restaurant waiter in the "back".

Wow. Just, wow. The hospitality is truly befitting of the absolutely beautiful location.

Stunning hotel with amazing pool in the rooftop and great experience

An awesome resort located on a river and in the middle of a forest, we had lunch at the restaurant, eating delicious and the service was great, I would recommend visiting those in the Ubud area.

Family suite is awesome, 2 bedroom suite + 2 bathroom with separate living room and balcony.

Great view to ayung river.

Our kids love the kids club.
There are tree house, Wii, games for kids.

My children get their own slipper, t shirt, hat, kimonos, and welcome drink/snack.

For breakfast they have amazing Japanese breakfast set.

I visited this fabulous hotel with my friends and it was a marvellous place. This 60-room property in the Ayung River Valley is reached via a suspension bridge that hovers over coconut trees and rice fields. The drama doesn t end there: each of the riverside guest villas has a meditation space and lily pond on the roof, as well as an outdoor living room and pool. The sense of calm befits the resort s cool and pleasant location, the spiritual heart of Bali. We just visited for lunch, what an amazing place. The grounds are some of the best we have seen in Bali and the staff are very welcoming. (Only thing to mention is that the pool is only for hotel residents)
