The place is wide but sometimes for the amount of guests, it is very small. Both the kitchen and the tables are very close and complicated. Kitchens and refrigerators few. Breakfast is included. Cafe milk juices, cereals bread lactal butter and jams, normal but good. As for the language, only English, at reception they do not speak Spanish. They have pool table and ping pong.
The bedrooms are comfortable, in each bed in the back has to plug both electric cable and two USB great. Each bed has its cage box with the possibility of putting a padlock (yours). Suite bathroom. It is only one room. In the hallway for all the rooms there is another toilette and a shower, little for so many people. In the dining room if you have something bigger toilette.

Great hostel with lovely staff and good sized rooms, a good variety of breakfast cereals/toast and drinks. Big dinning hall usually full with people of a variety of ages. Security is great with swipe cards on all room doors and underbed storage that can be secured safely with a lock. Lifts to all floors and an outside garden for smokers. Easy to find on the quays I enjoyed my stay there.

Pretty okay Hostel. The staff was friendly, as were the other guests. The rooms and bathrooms were also clean. Though the public bathrooms were often very disgusting to enter. I wish they would clean them more than once a day. Breakfast wasn't really my cup of tea either. However many others seemed to like it. The kitchen is very good, great for cooking

Very central location, but unfortunately right next to a homeless shelter (or similar) so one heard at night with the window open strange sounds and was often confronted with drug use.
The breakfast was simple but very satisfactory.
The rooms were mostly clean and hygienic, the bathroom also. The staff was also very friendly.

The place is great !! Clean, well maintained. It has a pool, large dining room, computer access, coffee machines, tea, laundry, snack machines and drinks (the bad thing is that it only has soda - but there is water). The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms virtually individual, plenty of privacy and comfort. And the staff is still very friendly and willing to sort things out !!! We strongly recommend

Dear staff. Hostel serves its purpose and is very central.
If you come by car or rent one, I would recommend the parking garage at the hostel in front of the door, it is only free on Sundays and during the week you can only park for a maximum of 3 hours and that for a lot of money.
Breakfast is kept simple and only contains toast and jam, but there is also cornflakes. Dishes have to be washed by yourself, which is not a problem.
The bus stop is right in front of the door.
The staff is available for all open questions.

Facilties were clean, toilets were awesome. It is close to many touristy things. The airport shuttle bus is close, as is the Guinness Brewery. I had a empty hostel room all to myself which is rare but bittersweet because It is also an opportunity to meet new people. Brekkie availabilities are a bit plain but theres nothing wrong with it. Tour buses Shamrocker tours leave from the hostel and they are awesome! Staff are friendly in that Irish, chilled back way which is great. My only negative is I went on a walking tour and met many people who stay at Jacobs inn hostel which is very far away to walk to as I was the odd one out.

Excellent budget option to stay in the center. It is a 4 minute walk to the temple bar. The super friendly staff. We stayed in a family room. The beds were fine, which is for me the most important thing. Breakfast consists of bimbo toast with butter and jam, no more. There were no noises after hours, which is also important. The floor of the room next to the door, where my bed was, moved with each person passing through the corridor, that woke me up very early. If you go to Dublin for 2 nights it's fine, but to spend more time I think it's worth getting away a little and climbing up for the same price. For short and low budget stays is very good

The hostel it s ok for a couple of nights, good for its position so close to the center but the bed is unconfortable, really noisy and no blinds in the room. Moreover the breakfast included is poor, nice orange jam though.

The room was clean, but unfortunately not what we had booked. Instead of a double room we got (for two of us) a 6 bed room with 3 bunk beds. Unfortunately, lying in a bed together was not possible. As it was only for one night we did not complain at the front desk. What was annoying, unfortunately, is the quite creaky hall floor in combination with thin walls. Unfortunately you can hear every guest come and go, which in the very young audience to which we also belonged to late / early hour occurred. Priced convinced the hostel, however. In retrospect, it was a budget hostel with very friendly staff. Recommended for young people.

Probably the worst hostel I've stayed at, and this...

Probably the worst hostel I've stayed at, and this is coming from someone that often would prefer living in a car to a house. I understand we stayed in Dublin on a Saturday night in early September, but if you aren't keen on staying out/up until 3am, that won't be an option if you stay here. As tired travelers the evening prior to going home, we were repeatedly woken up as loud, drunk guests stumbled, banged, stomped through the hallways all through the night. There was banging on doors, jumping on the floors above us, and screaming well into the wee hours of the morning. The hostel has no displayed policies regarding noise or hours of the day to "tone things down" and don't really seem to care.

Further, hopefully you aren't taller than 5'9, as they have short twin beds. Normally that isn't the biggest issue as your feet can dangle off a bit, but that's not possible on their bunks as there is a metal bar on the end of the bed. So if you're 6'1 like me, enjoy the feeling of a curved metal bar driving into your achilles tendon all night.

On top of all that, the rooms were hot. And to think they were charging 139 for a private room with a bunk bed! The worst value I've ever received at a hostel.

I have been there for 4 days. The hostel was very nice and the rooms was clean. We were in a room with 6 people and all of them were kind. Also the receptionists were supportive and they suggest us some really good pubs and sightseeings. To conclude it was near to supermarkets, museums and region of temple bar.

Worst beds I've ever slept in. Would have been more comfortable on the floor. Bathrooms were okay. Dining areas were a bit dated but create a good social atmosphere. I have many memories here.

Very welcoming hostel compared to many in the area. The staff are absolutely outstanding, and very friendly. Great location on the quays, and pretty clean. The light was out in one half of the room, and had been asked to be fixed several times, but was never attended to during my stay, hence four stars only. But otherwise the atmosphere is nice, the water is hot, and the beds are comfortable. Overall very nice stay.

Good AdJ, small flat (for me) the breakfast almost nonexistent, and complicated access to the rooms because of a broken elevator.
Oh and we were refused to put a friend in our room because everything was full, while in the end we spent the stay with constantly 1 free bed in the room

Bad, bad and bad again: Located on a very busy mai...

Bad, bad and bad again: Located on a very busy main road next to the river. So you hear about every 10 minutes any emergency vehicle (usually rescue or police) with siren and blue light . The kitchen there is also a disaster, because everyone can cook everything themselves and therefore the hygienic conditions are not very good because there is never properly cleaned, my friend even told me he thought he had seen a rat. The breakfast buffet is very meager, only three OPEN cereals, some really cheap toast, which you can push through soiled toaster and the biscuits and milk are open around there, yuck. So I would recommend not to cook there or to claim the breakfast. The rooms are way too small and not well cleaned, on the floor is a really thick layer of dust and in our room there was a damp spot, where you could also see that with every rain water penetrated. The beds look as if they were screwed together from any scrap metal and are completely warped. Therefore, for the slightly more swaying people not recommended, had a in the room above me in the bed slept, the metal struts bent very strong. On three of the 6 covers (6 duvets) you could see traces of feces or the like, for example, traces of vomit and the shower was very dirty. One of the faucets also had a leak and another room next to us has broken the toilet drain. On the curtain you could also detect an unidentifiable pollution, which, however, not so bad. With and you could put off the window just so and then there was no more bracket to fix it and so we had to abuse the chair as a spacer. So now to Milou, you people who were quartered in that hostel were made up exclusively of homeless people, drug junkies, alcoholics and we pedophile-looking old men and students 10 to 20 years together (therefore not recommended for teens and children). The people outside this house in the immediate vicinity, especially when you exit the door, right on the sidewalk, were also homeless drug junkies who were relatively aggressive, one wanted to pass a normal woman just kicking in the face, but those thanked God at the last second, these guys also mobbed us and towards evening there were more and more. Really a rancid neighborhood and also a pretty dirty city with a lot of homeless and almost only fast food restaurants. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND AT LEAST.

The nights in this hostel have not been the most suitable for rest ... a buzz in the room caused by I don't know if water pumps, cisterns, or any nearby refrigerator prevents you from sleeping. The same buzzing generates a vibration on the floor / bed / mattress that awakens anyone.
On the positive side, a very interesting hostel, comfortable to be in your spare time, and on the bed, an individual lamp with plug and USB chargers (attached photo).

Great location and very friendly staff that have an extensive knowledge of the city and can really help find the hidden gems of the city. Very secure and good sized under bed lockers (Rent one there for 2 a day or local shops will have one for 3- 4)
Only downside was the lack of sockets.

WiFi in almost every room, showers and toilets in almost every room. The rooms are very light, but still a little bit small for 6-8 persons. The breakfast is very basic, but tastes good. The self-catering kitchen is clean and useable. The staff is very nice.

Good location, tidy and spacious rooms and good amount of common space and resources. They could use increased timers on their showers and taps (gets really annoying). Storage lockers beneath beds were provided, however, you need your own locks.

If what you are looking for is to economize instead of comfort, this is the place because it has a good location, if you organize and buy food in cheap places you can even make your food, it has a kitchen and you can use it as much as you want.
the cheapest bed is in a room with 16 or 12 beds.
the officials only speak English but they try to help you :)

I'm trying to be objective here now: SHEATH.
Hair in the breakfast milk
Look like in prison
Noisy rooms
Creaking beds
overpriced
stinking
Shower must be pressed by pressing a button. The water is then for 30 seconds. Plottwist, every time you press the water gets warmer until it almost boils.

We stayed in the Four Courts Hostel for the weekend, and it was just fine for us. Clean rooms and a nice douche, no complaints. Just perfect if you look for a place to stay during a touristic visit.
