I found myself very well. Mine was a single room (number 7) with a small balcony overlooking the balcony. Small but comfortable room, very clean and fragrant. The only flaw was the lack of a bidet in the bathroom, and the typically Italian and not international breakfast (due to the covid). However, my evaluation remains excellent. Super recommended hotel with welcoming staff ready to listen to every single need. If I were to return to Florence I would stay the night again at the burchianti hotel.

The building is from the 16th century is well maintained, it is very quiet and has a "mystery" atmosphere and this attracts me a lot. I had difficulty locating it because the number on the Booking is wrong. I still can not to know the correct number.

Great little place close to everything. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Singles were a tad small but certainly adequate for a single. We also stayed in the junior suite which was large by Italian standards. WiFi works well.

This hotel is really close to the train bus station although if your smart, you'll take the bus to avoid the pickpockets that infest the train station. Its also around 10 minutes from the Duomo, which gives it a prime location. The room had a nice painting on the huge ceiling, but the downside to that meant that the A/C never was able to fully cool the place.
The continental breakfast was quite disappointing. It involved a lot of pre-packaged food, nothing interesting. However, the cappuccino was quite nice. The staff was quite helpful, with Mario (the elder man who speaks English) extremely nice & charming.
The bathroom was very simple, involving a showerhead that had a tendency to leak. Unfortunately, the WiFi was TERRIBLE. After someone broke the circuit breaker, I had a chance to look at the router and saw that it was well over 10 years old. My room was right next to it, and I could barely get a signal unless I stood next to the door.
If your looking for food, the Ciro & Sons right down the street has great pizza, but not much else.
Overall: The staff is very friendly and will help you out. However, the breakfast is pretty bad and the facilities could use a little bit of a facelift.

Hotel a few steps from the Duomo of Florence. Great location for those visiting the city. Florentine style very nice and clean. Breakfast more Italian than international (little choice for foreigners).

It was close to the station and the staff was kind. It is a convenient place for sightseeing and shopping, and the breakfast is very simple but it was very delicious. Interior of antique bedroom is impressive. The towels were changed every day, and coffee and water were always kept in the lobby, and if you needed printing, you could. I liked the high ceiling of the room. I would like to stay again next time.

The hotel is located in a strategic area a few steps from the station, the central market and other historical landmarks (Santa Maria Novella, Santa Maria del Fiore, Laurentian Library). Friendly and highly helpful staff

It is highly recommended considering the location and quality at this price. Certainly the location is confusing, but no problem if you get used to it. The owners were really kind and the service was great.

Very nice hotel, ideal location 5 minutes from the Duomo, public parking nearby, smiling and friendly staff. Special mention to Mario for his helpfulness even outside the hotel!

We wish you lots of good things, kisses from Corsica!

There were some discrepancies when booking via booking.com, among others. only small dogs are allowed and the free cot is suitable for children up to 2 months. The gentleman at the front desk didn't want to listen to our argument and was very unfriendly. We have therefore decided on another hotel.

One of the most beautiful hotel rooms ever. When you stay in these large and beautifully designed rooms, you don't need a bar, spa or restaurant. If you step outside you are in the center of the city anyway.

Definitely a place beyond all time! Beautifully preserved historic building. The warm and elegant welcome. Large, spotless and wonderful room with original frescoes up to the ceiling. Every detail is perfect ... definitely a beautiful experience in historic Florence a stone's throw from the Duomo. Very high quality breakfast and wide choice. We thank those who still preserve these precious things of our Italy
Super recommended.

Beautiful boutique hotel!! We stayed in Room #1 and like other rooms, it's covered in murals and a room like that is a special treat! The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Even though the shower had walls you fold around you, it was just fine and worked well to keep the water contained. They fit us in at the last minute when our plans suddenly changed and were very kind. The breakfast was nice and the parking garage is next door and across the street, the bar which serves food late, has the most amazing lasagna, just like my cousin in Italy makes. It's also close to walk to the outdoor shopping and other sites. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay. No 24 hour room service, no lobby, no porters, no lobby bar. Small number of beautiful rooms in a stately old building, with friendly, experienced and unflappable staff, and a very nice European light breakfast, all in a superb ( and wonderfully quiet ) location near the station, most Florentine attractions and a lot of great eating and drinking. A wonderful peaceful haven.

Amazing! It's like sleeping inside a museum. At the first night I could not fall asleep because I was so amazed looking up at the ceiling. I suggest taking the bigger rooms if you can afford it so it won't feel Claustrophobic. Note that some of the small rooms don't have windows and that the bathroom is designed as a cube inside the main room which felt for me less private.
The saff was really nice and gave us excellent travel tips abd the location could not be any better. I will definitely come back!

Central location, strategic, close to the train station, the center and all the major architectural wonders of Florence. The atmosphere is familiar, relaxing in an ancient palace and the rooms with painted ceilings. Very cared details.

Small Hotel in a charming 17th century residence just a stone's throw from the Florence Cathedral in the city center. Rooms with period frescoes complete with everything clean and welcoming. Polite and kind staff, who respects the style of these classy residences. Breakfast that aims above all at quality rather than quantity.
