Probably the worst hostel I've stayed at, and this...

Probably the worst hostel I've stayed at, and this is coming from someone that often would prefer living in a car to a house. I understand we stayed in Dublin on a Saturday night in early September, but if you aren't keen on staying out/up until 3am, that won't be an option if you stay here. As tired travelers the evening prior to going home, we were repeatedly woken up as loud, drunk guests stumbled, banged, stomped through the hallways all through the night. There was banging on doors, jumping on the floors above us, and screaming well into the wee hours of the morning. The hostel has no displayed policies regarding noise or hours of the day to "tone things down" and don't really seem to care.

Further, hopefully you aren't taller than 5'9, as they have short twin beds. Normally that isn't the biggest issue as your feet can dangle off a bit, but that's not possible on their bunks as there is a metal bar on the end of the bed. So if you're 6'1 like me, enjoy the feeling of a curved metal bar driving into your achilles tendon all night.

On top of all that, the rooms were hot. And to think they were charging 139 for a private room with a bunk bed! The worst value I've ever received at a hostel.
