It is a shopping center, preferably food, very nice, clean, tidy etc.
Lavish restaurant, good food especially its cream tea with scones.
It's amazing how old this place is. It has five floors. If you're on a budget, the only affordable thing is probably the marshmallows. But definitely worth a visit.
Iconic groceries, fashion and restaurants, delightful store, famous hampers
Amazing! Teas everywhere!
The chocolate tea biscuits are a must!
If you have to make a gift this is a cute idea
Very spread out and less merchandise than I'd prefer. However the tea floor is stuffed with plenty to choose from. The restaurant inside was amazing. Huge fillet with my fish and chips. Cooked to perfection!
Without a doubt, the worst afternoon tea I've ever had. Stale sandwiches and the cakes are from the 1970's. Whoever is in charge of this should be fired. In this day and age it's easy to innovate. Use your imagination, create something interesting!! 0/10.
Amazing hightea. but also super pricey. Love their scones!
We always enjoy a mooch around F&M, when we have trip down to London, the range and quality of the goods available is tremendous.
The draw backs are the crowds as it such a popular with tourists, the ignorance of some people who have to take a photo no matter where and how many people are inconvenienced.
What a fantastic place to buy tea from and other food items.
The cafe downstairs is fabulous and the knickerbottom Sundaes are literally worth bringing the family to try.
On ground floor the restaurant has very exceptional oysters and I would recommend anyone thinking to come here to try them...
A very nice old English department store worth seeing
Excellent customer service as always. Amazing Christmas decorations, luxury but affordable. You must try their fresh homemade marshmallows, the best I've ever tasted! Great coffee too and the best toilets in the city!
The only reason this place is missing the 5th star from me is because THEY DON'T HAVE CONTACTLESS PAYMENT
It gets tired from crowds, but you won't get tired of seeing a wide variety of sweets
But the chocolate at the chocolate shop in the back was a little too sweet
Always a superb place to visit. There were some Turkish delights and some French fancies with a little Dundee cake tasters.
The hazelnut Turkish delights were amazing, but, we went there for some Gin.
Got a great bottle of Fortnums limited edition tinkture Rose Gin. Fabulous. Go there and lose yourself among the luxury Marmalade and fantastic coffees.
Fantastic place but can get bit overwhelmed with service and waiting.
To experience London chic and a good cup of tea at the brasserie
Classic and iconic store. Visit just for the experience. We ate in their 45 Jermyn Street restaurant. Delicious.
Service is great, thank you to Paolo for a wonderful time. Good selection of teas and good cakes.
Nice place for a spot of shopping... superb quality items ... bags shoes clothes accessories and it goes...
Elegance of other times, products for tea breaks for all tastes.
Four floors where you can breathe the air of the past
Visited food hall on ground floor -- an Aladdin's cave of exclusive festive fayre at great prices
It is an expensive department store within walking distance to Green Park, the Royal Academy of Arts and The Ritz; so what else can I say about the location? Brilliant!
Londoners normally don t buy here on a regular basis, unless it is a present (gift) or if you are one of the lucky rich ones. The only product I make sure it is in my fridge is the Fortnum & Mason Orange Curd it is the best.
I have to confess, I'm a regular. A wonderfully eclectic store with old fashioned, polite and attentive service. Visiting London without shopping and having tea at Fortnums is like going to Paris and not seeing the Eiffel Tower, or Rome and not visiting the Colosseum. The chocolatier is definitely better than that of Harrods and, if you're buying gifts for anyone, any of the boxed teas or biscuits are beautifully presented.
Fantastic place excellent men's section will definitely be visiting again
One of the best afternoon tea places in London, great quality food and wonderful atmosphere.
The building is very nice. Everything else is super expensive.
Mythical tea that I know only because it was Simon Le Bon's favorite!
I suggest that if you are still in business after more than three centuries, you are probably doing something right.
Ordered and received three separate hampers this year from the world's oldest corner shop. Unfortunately, the third arrived incomplete and without the gift message card in the envelope.
Mistakes happen - we are all only human. I contacted customer services and spoke to Hannah who managed to resolve the whole matter in minutes. Polite, courteous, very efficient and managed, somehow, amazingly, through the deluge of Christmas post and parcel deliveries to have matter resolved within 24 hours - even more impressive considering that a good many of those hours were a Sunday!
Highly recommend as ever and may I suggest a Christmas bonus for the very helpful Hannah at Fortnum & Mason customer services.
I love teas from this store. Despite the high price, it's worth shopping there. All high quality products. One of my favorite stores in London.
The facilities for shopping safely were superbly arranged.
Best quintessentially high end british food and fashion store. Must visit for any tourist
Having heard about this place so much, my friend and I sampled a lovely tea here it was a special day.
Every time I go to London I go there, even just to have a tea with the scones in the upstairs room
The assortment of products for sale fascinates me very much. The jams, the, the chocolates are excellent. Fantastic place to find a good level gift
The gentleman in the Wine section downstairs was most helpful and polite when we ordered our wine
This shop is amazing - such a variety and beautifully presented. Worth a visit.
No need to write a review. This is Fortum and Mason which stands alone as the bastion of quality, good taste and excellent service.
This has to be one of the most iconic shops in the UK if not the world
Very busy over covid and have only got temperature gates at the front there is no safety inside other than trusting people to wear masks
Many intriguing luxury products, some reasonably priced.
Get your luxury food and gift in this lifestyle store that always goes big on the seasonal experience. Christmas holidays especially. Prepare for the selfie crowd but get involved and enjoy it. Capitalism has rarely looked so good.
Everything you could possibly wish for and more. Pricey? Yes, of course it is, quality comes at a price. Even if you don't buy anything its worth the look just for the decadence. And no visit is complete without a visit to the 3&6 bar on the top floor. Very popular, Excellent service and regular London bar prices.
It was a gorgeous birthday gift for me. I decided to go today as it is my Mum's birthday, sadly she's no longer with us, she loves tea and cake, my homage to my beautiful Mum.
A beautiful store with a fantastic selection of moderate to expensive goods. Unfortunately, it was so crowded with Christmas shoppers that trying to shop there really was intolerable and I abandoned after a few minutes of struggling through the struggling crowd.
A wonderful selection of teas. Make sure to visit the 4th floor!
What an iconic place, great for generating ideas for presents
Very chic ... expensive but of quality and impeccable service!
Whether you are looking for your souvenirs or looking for one of the best cups of tea in London, this is someone you absolutely must stop. It is very close to public transit and is a good place to begin your journey through Soho, the West End and parts of touristy Central London. start here and then enjoy the walk or have a leg stretch and ensure your trip ends here before you head home.
I Love visiting fortnum & mason but it is better to visit early in the morning. It is so crowded during the day. It is so hard to walk around. Their cookies are amazing.
A classic...visited the ice cream parlour that's like an institution itself
The store was really fancy and stuffs were pritty kind.
Pistachio & Clotted Cream biscuit is definitely recomend.
Generally found that prices were slightly too high and the place was way too crowded. But alternatively there was great variety of products. Come here if you ve got deep pockets and are looking for mince pies
Like fortnums. Very pricey but worth a visit as you get some amazing goodies here. The champagne and orange marmalade is a must!
Amazing place to shop for tea, biscuits, and chocolates, on the first floor try the delicious ice cream and scones wauuuu the best
We had a wonderful time treated to Afternoon Tea by my son and his wife. Food was excellent...I had Lobster...yes as part of my afternoon tea. Huge choice of teas, coffees, scones, cakes, bread, petit fours and other delicacies and happy to give you a bag to take home all you hadn't room to finish. Excellent!!! I love the traditional table wear cups and saucers serviettes and special cake forks. The bathrooms even had little towels to dry your hands on and then throw in the laundry. Staff mostly NOT English but very fluent in English and very friendly and helpful.
Blew us away with how fun and festive it was for casual tea - you can t get out of the shop without some goodies
Afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason
was always going to deserve 5* but service, atmosphere and welcome 10*+ definitely.
Big gourmet shop near Piccadilly. I especially recommend the tea section. There are usually a lot of people in it.
Amazing afternoon tea, pricey yes, but cannot be beaten if treating someone special
Gorgeous shop, great perfume and beauty dept. Get to work here sometimes and it is always a pleasure.
I love everything about this shop especially my favourite biscuits they make and their hampers, of which I have bought many.
A beautiful place, how we, prepare to spend a lot of money.
What an amazing place! "Dorothy you're not in Kansas anymore."
Always the best destination for great tea and biscuits and such a wonderful shop. F&M is always a good idea.
Nice, old house, fine things, well decorated, a visit is definitely worth it.
Recently, there are many foreigners. The young clerk was so unhappy that he didn't want to pay for shopping. The quality of the product is high, so 5 stars.
last time the cashier girl was so impolite and looked upset that i didn't want to buy and pay but the quality is always great so i gave five stars.
This is one of the nicest department stores in London, its very traditional with lots of great things available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Make sure you visit the tea parlour!
