Simply wonderful! And the sole purveyor of TRUE British tea!
I don t think I will go back to this place again, definitely overpriced and all food are ok, not really impressed. I will looking for some alternative but if you just want to get experience and got some money to spend, it s a nice experience overall.
Great afternoon tea here , staff were brilliant, you can try as many teas as you like , you can have extra sandwiches and scones and then they give you a goodie bag with a slice of cake , will definitely be back
The Mall. Real English luxurious mall. Spot on Clercks.
Christmas is not to be missed at F&M.
The window displays and decorations and superb, as always. A shopping experience, even if only visiting the handmade chocolate counters, is so enjoyable.
A real pleasure to visit at Christmas.
Great products, wonderful staff, great variety, one of the best places for food and wine, but also treats in London at all prices and for all tastes.
Always great to look around this great store. Just wished I could afford to buy some of the food.
We had afternoon tea the cakes were gorgeous. Also bought several tins of biscuits
A very famous tea room. Very good snacks and pastries and even gluten free, just ask.
Great afternoon tea.lovely lemon curd...nice staff, recommend asking for window seats. Would be 5 stars but Long queue for cloakroom. Recommend a 'in and out' system.
For people that think they are special, nothing really to rave about
A perfect shop for people looking for high quality English items. The experience is fantastic.
I went in to F&M looking for a special gin to take back to the US. I was there fairly early on a weekday, and found that there weren't many other people looking for spirits at this hour. So, the attendant in the area actually took me down to the Crypt, a private tasting room below the spirits area, for a private gin tasting. It was a great experience!
It is a famous department store. It is a few minutes walk from Piccadilly Circus Station or Green Park Station. Foods such as tea, biscuits, and jams are popular. The store is large, and the upper floor sells original brand life products. It is always crowded with tourists. Since it is recognized as a brand in Japan, it seems that many people buy it as a souvenir.
Lovely institution to visit and when I come to town, I always buy tea here. I would not go back to have afternoon tea after experiencing subpar food service.
Wonderful place if you can afford it. Good restaurants.
The chocolate selection is amazing and a great gift idea for tourists.
Wonderful shop of tea, cookies and more. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Definitely worth a visit and some purchases too.
I love this place, the pride of Britain since 1707! Wonderful goodies await, and if you are a foodie, you would love this place, as it has some interesting condiments. Great tea, biscuit, sweets and chocolates selection, and wonderful customer service, always. I love coming here every time!
Love the food selection. One of the first places to have ruby chocolate so great to try. Also tried the afternoon tea which had great service and I love the fact everything on the tray is refillable. Their lemon curd is so good.
Also on the ground floor towards the back sometimes they have discounted goods which is great value.
Probably the most beautiful food hall in London, with a great selection of teas and confectionary. This is the perfect place to buy souvenirs in the shape of high quality food or tea. Don t miss the main entrance on one side of the building with the main stair with the beautiful chandeliers. This is a very popular place for afternoon tea too. On the second and third floors they have an interesting selection of high end products including perfumes, hats, stationary, games...
On the main facade there is a clock and every hour William Fortnum and Hugh Mason emerge and bow to each other while classic music plays. I dont give them 5 stars because the bad side of the place is they still sell foie-grass, something too cruel too be produced in the UK but not to be sold.
You understand the aura of the store and it s fame the moment you are at the entrance.
The first thing you notice is that The window displays are so different, elegant and nicely done.
This luxury departmental store is huge with multiple floors each has its own speciality.
Large selection of Gin, loved it so much.
Ended up buying a lot.
The brownies were superbly tasty.
I ve also bought some pickles and chutneys are they are Yummmm!
A good variety of cookies and biscuits, teas and chocolates.
The home section is just to die for.... so elegant so fulfilling!!
Everything is superbly decorated and placed.
You feel warm and royal here.
Best place on earth! Everything is beautiful, or delicious, or both. Staff is knowledgeable and courteous.
Beautiful shop, great for gifts with a special touch
Afternoon tea set was very exquisite even though it cost me fifty pounds.
Nice place. Nice staff. Nice food.
The piano play was so good.
Sandwiches were really disappointing.
Nothing special there. Even less than average.
Cakes were various and somewhat unique.
Scones were the best in the world.
All the staff were very kind and professional although it was very busy time so they forgot some of our requests.
Nice peaceful place to shop. Excellent product variety. Reasonably priced by comparison.
Recommended for those who like tea. Coffee and biscuits too ^^
There is no place like Fortnum and Mason for afternoon tea. Went with the girls to celebrate a birthday at the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon and we had a wonderful afternoon.
The staff are warm and friendly and we were served by Jose who looked after us from the minute we sat down. His demeanor was one of dining with an old friend and I just wish he could have joined our party as it was such a pleasure talking to and laughing with him. He made us feel like we were the only party there and went above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience.
Goes without saying that the food and drinks were tasty and my sweet tooth wasn't disappointed by the generous helping of victoria sponge.
I didn't want the day to end, but when it did I was happy to leave with my very posh doggy bag and memories of truly wonderful day.
Went for brunch, which was delicious. Highly recommended!
After my wife's disaster visit last year we were invited back and we could not be more happy that we were. Today's visit was perfect, staff so attentive, food amazing and plentiful, spoilt with supply of sandwiches and champagne.
Totally made amends for her previous disappointment, as F&M should be.
The poshest supermarket ever. It has such an atmosphere, the staff is always so professional. I had good there as well on the 4th floor, what a treat, you feel like royalty while seating there and drinking tea out of their branded china. A true British institution.
What a place to in WoW beautiful. Down side no parking available.
Always my favourite. Loads of people at this time of the year. I go for my ground coffee. My favourite of half Brazilian and half columbian. An old favourite. Tea time is a must.
Such a classic place. If it's good enough for our Queen, it is good enough for me.
I bought flavored tea. A treat not even too expensive.
You can buy various things as well as an assortment of teas. If possible, please try to buy tea leaves by weight from our professional staff. It's a great experience. The brand that has been maintained for many years is the dignity of the stone.
you need to come at least one in your life. i've come every year to pick some tea for winter time. you have to taste his tea
We came here for my wife s birthday. I was skeptical because I felt it was too expensive for finger sandwiches and tea. The server however, turned me around. He was excellent! Some of the best service we have ever had. I still think it s a bit over priced but I am not disappointed we ate here thanks to the impeccable service.
A place of enchanting elegance. Even the bathrooms are luxurious.
The store was absolutelyamazing. Four floors of everything from baubles and beads, to kitchenware and accessories, to everything Christmas, to fabrics, to everything that you possibly didn't need but now you do... It was really a great experience and lots of good stuff!
A real beautiful department store! Really impressive refinement. Special mention for the corner "Christmas decorations" as well as the tea salpn on the top floor worthy of a movie scene. To have !
Ground floor and basement are an absolute must for tourists. This is where you find a great selection of tea, cookies... And many other quintessentially English gifts to bring back home.
Preferred this shop to Harrods. Very open and not claustrophobic
It will be a nice experience for every one to visit here. you will see some fantastic things here. Also the Royal family shopping somethings from this shop.
Very boring and expensive I did buy some cherry biscuits which were fantastic so 3 stars
Haven't rated any place with 5 stars, but this place is so good that i can't stop myself from giving 5 stars.you can easily spend quality time in this store. One feel like buying everything, the presentation, ambience, decorations, everything speaks for itself.
Very enjoyable high tea. Excellent service and enjoyable fare. Not the really splendid experience of the better hotels that offer afternoon tea, but good nevertheless..
Loads of fun
High Tea
Wonderful place to enjoy shopping and buying the tea.
Very classy shop. Each plan is specialized for a genre of items. Lots of articles from The. Very picturesque in the Christmas period.
Very busy but worth it for the great tea and atmosphere!
Lovely afternoon tea with my mum as a treat for my birthday.
