Was there for afternoon tea and then some shopping. Their afternoon tea, however deceiving is actually very filling. Some of the selection was really good, while others were mediocre. They do have some fairly unique items worth trying

Disgusting service. My friend who took me there who is 82 years old had a voucher for tea, which was a gift, she pee booked in advance, but on the day had forgotten her to take the voucher which had the codes. Even though she was on the computer system. They would not serve us until she managed to phone her neighbour with spare key to get into her home to locate the voucher numbers. It took about 40 mins altogether as previously get neighbour was not home. Once the code was given we were sererved. We ask the guy who happened to be the manager to recommend us what was on the vouchour valued one hundred and five pounds. He duly recommend a beef Wellington which was a two mouthful size in a big fat fancy plate and for my friend Rosie a small fancy sea food in a sauces served circumstances size of small tea cup, He duly came back to us and told Rosie that she had to add aTwenty five pounds on top of the voucher. When the three tire thing came it consists of five very minute fancy cream cake thing, second layer two small plain scones, and the third layer consist of two fruit scones. That was it. Rosie was very upset and she ask one waiting staff, what about the sandwiches,he said it doesn't come with sandwiches. He implied that if she wishes to have them she had to pay. She said the the tea value is 105 and on top she had to pay 25 and no sandwiches. I was very shocked, the manager came and he too told her it doesn't come with sandwiches because of what recommended which was high tea. Anyway finally he saw how upset Rosie was,he told the server to give us the sandwiches. Finger sandwiches . I felt very bad as Rosie apologies to me,as she wanted me to experience tea at this posh place. Out of the five small cream cakes Rosie eat one. and she told me to take the other four home. So all in all I had six cups of tea, mouthful of beef Wellington in a big fat platethree sandwiches, one fruit scone and a plan scone.

Despite the fame that F&M has in the UK, both me and my partner agreed it was the best afternoon tea we ever had. Literally everything was perfect, from the lovely and attentive waitress who made us feel welcome every minute of our stay (thank you Vasilaia!), the fresh ingredients used for sandwiches and for beautiful and delicious pastries accompanied by the famous preserve from their own brand. Flawless.

They sell a variety of products and supplies related to tea, and if you go to another floor, they sell tableware and various British brand clothes and products. There are a lot of items that women want to shoot. It's good if you buy the car you want after smelling the incense. I didn't buy a lot because the carrier seems to explode.

How can you miss it if you are in London?! They have a menu for different food allergy. I always get the dairy-free one. The sandwiches were amazing! So were the scones! I never found nice scones in the States. I think F&M nailed it! Their jam was brilliant too. They gave me strawberry butter true love is blueberry. It is full of small blueberries. You can totally cover every centimeter of your toast or scone with blueberries.
I also recommend their gin, especially London dry gin.

This place makes you feel extremely British and I loved it! We were given a free tea tasting experience where we tasted four very rare teas. The selection of cakes and scones are great as well as refillable (if you order afternoon tea). Our waitress was kind and attentive. What a lovely place.

Yes, yes and yes! One of the last truly timeless department stores of the UK, with something for everyone, and more tourists than you can count!!

There is always a warm welcome at Fornum & Mason. For those willing to look around, there is a wealth of great shopping to be had beyond their tea and confectionery floors, but if like me you're here for a look around and some treats, then you're sure to have a lovely experience.

If I had to recommend a purchase, then I'd highly recommend a traditional Fortnum & Mason hamper. A true delight and an amazing gift for anyone.

As expected, if you're here for lunch or visiting the cafe area, you're in for a treat as the flavours are exquisite.

Time for me to go get my macaroon fix, give me a thumbs up if you think you should too!!

Gorgeous

It is strongly recommended not to enjoy English afternoon tea here, which is unpleasant.
Boys, please strongly stop your girlfriend from taking you here.

The taste of tea is not very good, the desserts are not very delicious, only bread can be eaten ...

Brilliant place for Christmas shopping. It always impresses friends when you give them something from Fortnum and Mason. ( The Royal shop!) Especially the confectionery and drinks sections. The other departments offer an excellent selection of gift ideas too.

Fortnums' tea and biscuit selection is great - I always pop in to stock up whenever I'm in London. But the store is always absolutely packed with people, so be prepared to muscle your way around!

The best tea is in Fortnum and Mason. Fantastic place and nice people. Building itself has very interesting history . The nicer person there is Kamlesh who works for a very long time in the grand floor and knows everything what what is best to get and what you would not find anywhere else. I love all the teas - and I recommend to try Milky oolong. For a treat go downstairs for cheese and wine and for even better treat - high tea upstairs is one of the nicest that I have experienced!

Wide choice of teas at reasonable prices (for classic cardboard boxes, but beware of the price of gift or fancy packaging).
Delusional prices, however, for certain objects on the upper shelves, for a quality that is necessarily up to the price offered ...

Impressive establishment. Everything is high quality ... and high price too.
Very delicatessen, it is difficult to resist taking some marzipan or some special bonbon.
Even the various wines they have can be tasted in a reasonably priced wine glass vending machine. Curious.
The pastry and chocolates section is incredible ... But I found it somewhat expensive. If you want to take a souvenir or gift back, this is the best place but knowing that you are going to pay it well paid ... It is the price of the exclusive.

Too much out of our price range but interesting to look around. Do feel like you are under constant supervision!! The fragrance wasn't even that nice! Bought some tea bags but they weren't great!!
