This is one of the most beautiful stores I've been to in my travels around the world. My wife and I are addicted to the chutney, jam and curd they sell, which comes in a variety of flavors. The tea sets are gorgeous along with the picnic baskets. The price is expensive, but if you weren't expecting that, this store isnt for you.

I shall say I go there a lot. So often that staffs at food hall know me. As people know it's a British high end store attracting tourists. But above that it offers decent food and drink.... wine, coffee, tea... some wine events too

One of my favorite places in Piccadilly. I walk from the top down, taking special notice of the men's section on the 3rd floor. Be sure to walk through the food section. And then to the ground floor to sample the teas they have available. Finally, leave at the side where the doorman takes care to wish you a pleasant day.

Simply the best store in the world! Nothing else to say.
I love the store and try to come here at least twice a month.
The wine bar on the lower ground floor is one of my favourite bars in London as is 45 Jermyn Street one of my favourite cocktail bars in the city.
And of course if you want afternoon tea there is nowhere better in the world to go. Take my word for it, only the English understand how to make tea!
But please don't take any notice of what I've said above as, if you do, I won't be able to get my favourite tables. Thank you.

Bought the famous cookies here, but checking back home, turns out that they were produced 10 months ago and they have only 2 months left before the expiry date. Be aware and check before buying!

A very high-end department store, I heard Tchaikovsky being put in as soon as I came in. Think about how many department stores in the market will make it like this, the environment is really beautiful

Former official tea suppliers for Buckingham Palace have maintained a medium to high quality of their product. There you can also find sweets and coffee but their must always remain tea. Also try the lemon jam made with butter and eggs. Very particular and a pleasant surprise for the palate

More than a famous shop, this is an experience to be savoured. Buy their excellent chocolate, experience world class perfumes or best of all, enjoy afternoon tea on the fifth floor. A melifluous and delicious experience where you can taste some of the best English flavours and pastries with a good choice of teas and coffee. Personally it has lost a little of its charm since the refurbishment however it appears more popular than ever with tourists who queue up to purchase their souvenir tea or biscuits. Harrods wishes it had the class of Fortnums.

This is a popular department store in London selling a great variety of goods but it is mainly popular for its confectionery. The biscuits and candies sold here are extremely popular. Other than these, there are also other goods. It has also a number of cafes and restaurants. Its Champaign tea set is really good and delicious. A good place to browse around and spend an afternoon.

One of London's most delightful stores. Somehow the crowds don't seem to overwhelm its charm. Yes, it's expensive, but there are always small things you can buy to have the experience of shopping there.

Lovely afternoon tea, one of my all-time favourites. Each segment of the afternoon tea is refillable, so you can have as many rounds of sandwiches, scones and cakes as you want. Then you can choose a slice of cake from the trolley to either eat their or takeaway.

The only reason I am marking the experience down a star is because our waiter, Adrian I believe, was excessively pushy and kept insisting that at least one of us (I went with my husband) had the savoury afternoon tea, which neither of us wanted. I think we had to tell him 'no thank you' about six times. When I ordered my pot of tea I was then told by the waiter that my selection was wrong and that I should choose from a different part of the menu. From experience I know that I can only usually drink a single pot, and wanted to try the one I had chosen, which for the price I think I have the right to do.

This wouldn't put me off going again though, the other waiters we have had in the past have been faultless.

To the shopper's paradise. Is there a tea you can't buy there? I do not think so. And the tea cans and tea packages are the finest you can imagine. They also have biscuits, chocolates and other delicacies. In the basement there are wine and flowers, and on the first floor all the tea equipment you could want, just as there is a nice little tea salon. I will definitely go there again.
I was there at Christmas time and so you should not cheat yourself for an original Fortnum & Mason Christmas ornament. It doesn't exist sweeter.

Beautiful shop where you can find all sorts of lovely unique gifts. The afternoon tea was great with really lovely service. The food isn't anything quirky or trendy but it was all certainly lovely and in the right sizes. You're able to get unlimited refills on every plate/tier so go hungry and don't be shy asking. They willingly and gladly do it! Don't worry about saving room for the last slice off the cake trolley as you can have this to go (in a beautiful box) and continue the lovely experience at home. It's not the cheapest but certainly worth the experience and if you get a few refills you get your money's worth!
