Fancy a tea?

Fancy a tea?

Well I would say it has become a place for sightseeing ... too many people to shop ... Too many goods to buy ...

The way they package the goods biscuits / coffee / teas are all very similar then it took me 15 minutes to just find the tea area ...
Whilst I quite enjoyed here ...
You can enjoy wine with some cooked food, stand drinking / eating available, can have a tea for sure ...

Famous Fortnum Mason.
Wide, crowded and well stocked.
I visited for the purpose of only black tea, but it took about 15 minutes to find black tea because biscuits, coffee and other sweets are displayed in a package very similar to black tea.

However, I think it's a great place for sightseeing because it's good for light meals and alcohol.
Shopping Please heal your tired feet.

The best afternoon tea place for a great scone!

The best afternoon tea place for a great scone!
Ordered the traditional afternoon tea with Royal Blend, it was a good tea to accompany the sweetness. They have four selections of sandwiches, among which I like the curry chicken one the most. Their scones were warm and delicious, especially paired with the smooth cream and homemade strawberry jams. The raisin one goes better with the lemon curd to balance off the sweetness. All sweets on the plates were delicious and we loved the raspberry mousse the most.
After everything (unlimited refill, though slow) you got to pick the special cake selection. I found the vanilla icing a little sweet but other than that, all taste delicious.
Service was not attentive, and slow. Would come again and just order scones on the first floor. Alternatively trying the St. Pancras location would be good too.

Ordered a hamper online as a gift for a friend. At the time I got a successful delivery confirmation and an image of the delivery so thought nothing of it. Over Christmas (a few months later) when I was talking to my friend they told me they never received the hamper, when I showed them the picture of the delivery - they told me that the image wasn't of their house. I called Fortnum customer services and they said that on their system they could see that the delivery van never went to the correct street - however because the delivery happened a few months ago, they won't do anything about it.
Even though I appreciate the long period of time between the delivery and the complaint - I was honestly shocked at lack of interest or care - especially when it's so obvious that there is a mistake here

I am a Londoner and I travel worldwide considerably. I like to give personal gifts to people who I meet especially to thank them for looking after me in their country. I like the gifts to reflect my nationality and often choose a product not available in the country I am visiting. On a recent visit to Istanbul I collected a couple of pre-online ordered tins of Florentines from Fortnum's and requested two of their signature Eau de Nil shopping bags expressly to use as gift wrap in which to present my gifts. I used turquoise tissue paper to pad out each carrier and when presented they looked visually stunning. They were given in a public space and it was obvious that the Turkish people present were aware who Fortnum's are. I am now in Malta. I flew direct from Istanbul. It crossed my mind that the gift of Florentine's had been so successful in Turkey that it might be appropriate for Malta as well. I planned to order 6 tins to be delivered to my hotel in time for Christmas Day. The Fortnum's online order form makes to provision to specify the inclusion of gift bags even for an additional sum. I emailed Customer Services on 5th December and received their response on 8th December. It was little more than a couple of sentences written in a dismissive could-not-care-less manner saying the carriers were only available to personal shoppers in the Piccadilly shop. There was absolutely no attempt to creatively respond to my request let alone any initiative shown whatsoever by the male customer services rep who seemed to have forgotten that he was the first line representative of Fortnum's. My experience is that if you want to request anything that is in anyway personalised to meet your specific needs then Fortnum's Customer Services Team do not have the ability to meet any expectation at all. Avoid like the plague!

Founded in 1707, the store has beehives on the rooftop (look for the honey in the foodhall), a great cocktail bar on the men's floor and they serve afternoon tea on the last floor (book in advance). Great place for gifts - wide range of services and prices. Highly recommended.

A wonderful day for my mother in law and wife. They were both over the moon with the attention they received. The mother in law (95) has not stopped talking about her day. Thanks to all the staff

Great

Amazing.

Beautiful building

Beautiful building
The interior is beautiful. We had afternoon tea in the diamond jubilee. The room was absolutely beautiful and elegant, the service was equisite. It really was a great experience. The only negative thing I would say about the place is that it was ridiculously overpriced.

We only get our beloved Earl Gray Classic here. Every time we are in London we empty the special shelf. We take a bigger suitcase with us. The department store of kings also looks like it. Noble and dreamy. But watch out, the prices there are truly royal!

It is said that it is in Korea, but it is still an attractive shopping spot if you miss it. If tea or cookies are bulky and burdensome, it is recommended to gather them together and send them to Korea. 40 pounds is a bit expensive, but I was shopping and it was really nice to feel relaxed. It's good to be wrapped in fine when you get home. I heard that if you bought tea items such as teapots, glasses, and dishes, you will be compensated for damage during delivery.

Fabulous store we want to buy everything

Fabulous store we want to buy everything
Impeccable and beautiful packaging, but above all a considerable choice of tea (among other things). I will not talk about the choice of chocolate (Forget the indecent price perfect these boxes) Very nice wine cellar
Large selection of pie and pudding and a fabulous Scottish salmon
WELL DONE

Fantastic experience, we tried various tea with a very good waiter named Domenico (Italian sommelier tea) who accompanied us on a journey made of oriental sensations and flavors, on the 4th floor of the building (Diamonds jubilee.) Really good 3 unforgettable hours . Thank you

Fantastic shopping experience. Your greeted on the way in the store. You have staff placed around to cater for your every need. They are all helpful and friendly you could not fault them. Great range of products and if they did not stock what you wanted they suggested where may do it locally. Great to see them gettiing behind local businesses in these challenging times. On leaving staff say goodbye have a nice day which is a lovely touch.
The outside of the shop has a fantastic christmas display. Well worth a visit.

The store itself is beautiful and the teas are very delicious, but I didn't think it was worth the afternoon tea there. Too expensive for what is served. I expected more for the price.

The official supplier of royal groceries looks exactly as you'd expect it to. The brilliantly british packaging on items across a range of prices makes this the best place to buy gifts for foreign tea, biscuit, and preserve lovers!

I've been lucky enough to eat in the various restaurants a few times. The tea and food is always excellent, but the price can be a bit high. Great steak sandwich!
