Impressive department store - my favourite one in London. do not miss a visit especially in the food area.
Although smaller than Harrods, the London department store of Picadilly St is a must! The windows are magnificent in all seasons, a bit like those of Printemps and Galeries Lafayette for Christmas in Paris. Their More
If you're not buying your tea here, are you even buying tea at all?
Fortnum & Masons is a Luxury Department Store which stocks a variety of great foodstuff and teas. Their selection of tea is wonderful. Try the Ceylon Tea, it tastes superb. F&M also has a great collection of jams and spreads. Chocolates, Coffee and Gift Items are popular. They're famous for their wonderful Hampers. And I must talk on the shopping experience... It's a wonderfully laid out store with great props and is well decorated especially during Christmas. If you're visiting London, pop in at the store on Piccadilly and you're in for a real treat!
Good place for high tea and buying back cute sets of kettles or other Such homeware things.
Good quality stock at fair price where we found sale priced items that we where looking for. Very historic splendour and London tradition. Best to use stairs as lifts are very cosy and some customers don't want to share lift space.
The teas are beautifully good and the decoration is just sublime! Visual level and taste we are served. Huge choice!
My favourite store while in London however it costs me a fortune when the wife realised the Christmas section was open
You have to order the Fortmason tea. It is an amazing tea with lemon flower I guess. Very flower taste but not just a good smell the taste is amazing as well. It is however a bit too crowded and you could never find someone to ask about the teas.
Elegant and luxurious shop in the heart of London.
Expensive but fabulous.
Elegant, charming, and the service above and beyond expectations
Beautiful gifts and shop presentation. Bring a big wallet. Enjoy the creative window displays. One star lost as staff were not as warm and welcoming as I would expect in such an establishment.
A bespoke grocery store for the nobility, but you can choose to get tea and marmalade for reasonable prices and the quality is second to none
Amazing tea selection. Coffe is good as well. Always overcrowded, especially with Asian tourists. Downstairs you can find many alcoholic beverages and really good food (but good things come with a price...)
Pleasant modern setting, though the cake selection was very limited. I think they are more ice cream specialists, to be fair, and I have to say that the salted caramel was yummy. Not the cheapest place, as you'd expect.
Impossible not to taste the tea that the queen drinks !!!!
Wonderful place !
The one and only Royal department store in London. When you enter you just jump back in ages. Everything breathes of royalty. The products are also royal. For the fine connoisseur of life and beauty. Every product has its own story. When you buy, you buy a craftsmanship from the artisan.
Frankly I was disappointed. I was visiting from the US and was asked to visit this eatery while in London.
I felt the menu was limited and the server showed no flexibility when I asked for a simple cheese sandwich.
Thought the atmosphere was aloof and service just ok.
Would not visit again.
Excellent place for high tea... Amazing service top class cuisine and waitresses that read your mind ! Got to back there soon. Thank you F&M
Different department stores. Perfect for Christmas shopping
Beautiful purveyor of exquisite groceries. Well decorated venue offering a feel for traditional English shopping experience
A place with lots of tea that I can drink and make as a gift! Apple Tea Recommended !!!!
The most excellent teas & jams worthy of an extra dollar or two. Also the most beautiful gift packaging and overall unboxing experience!
Fancy, expensive, pretty great high-end department store. Great service.
It is a great place to do your Christmas shopping. It has several floors and is very spacious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The price is moderate.
Probably one of finest and most interesting shops that I have been to. Offer is above and beyond anyone could expect.
You can find interesting gifts ranging from couple of pounds to far more expensive ones.
Buying here for someone is showing that you have good dose of respect and admiration for them.
A great place you must visit in London. If you love tea and biscuits, you should come here. And they have the BEST scone ever. Strongly recommends their high tea, or at least you should come here and try there tea and scone with their More
Good place to buy tea cups and also good place to buy cheese
The Queens grocer! Does more need to be said? The tea and coffee selection is probably unsurpassed; the staff both knowledgeable and helpful.
Worth a visit even if only to look!
The seasonal hampers are luxurious, if expensive.
The environment of the afternoon tea is perfect but I won t come again. The quality of service is not so good I guess one of the reasons is that there are too many tourists here.We only had 2 hours time slot and it is a little rush...With the price normally around 50 pounds per person, there are lots of choices in London. But I still feel if you love the brand style of Fortnum and Mason, you should come and try.
I liked it better before, when the main focus was not on the food department. Nonetheless, despite one of the nicest and classiest shops in London. I love the stationery and the staircase
Elegant and very charming shopping center in picadilly.
Such a lovely place even if you're not really a tea person. The shop also sells traditional biscuits and chocolates and foie gras and tea sets, but the most impressive thing is the building itself and the decorations.
The tea and atmosphere was lovely. The service was lacking, too many people per tea sitting and for the price paid would have expected better. Will not be going back. Staff borderline rude
A place where the Queen goes shopping herself! So keep your eyes open when you're in London!
Great department store, very smart and tidy staff. So much to find as gifts if you're stuck for ideas. It's expensive but this is what you get if you want the best
The poshest food shop! Massively busy but staff were friendly and it was absolutley fabulous dahhling!
Clinging to a bygone image. Full of tourists getting the 'fortnums experience'. Their food is good but there are other places that you can get produce as good without the mark up
The tea is delicious and the packaging is super delicate
Always a good experience. Christmas windows were fun.
An English-style shop where the queen herself goes shopping
Fortnum's lovley tea and jam. Always a nice treat. Its expensive but nice.
Just lovely.... products, decor, display etc, but hard to get service/assistance & have lengthy waits for restaurants & to pay for purchases
Here you can eat delicious cake. You feel like the queen.
Lots of lovely stuff to buy but went to see the famous clock above the main entrance.
Come for the tea and then marvel at the rest of this stunning department store. It s a dying breed and should be enjoyed before everything is delivered by Amazon.
Sweet shop, but very expensive. There are low priced competitors.
Wasting pounds.
Gorgeous food, the service was impeccable, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Definitely a worthwhile experience!
Afternoon tea. Good price with good location recommended
Been here for shopping, food and afternoon tea. All are splendid and make you feel special. Couldn't recommend this place more highly.
Wonderfully atmosphere but pricing is still made up on the spot. Tea chest is still great present
I like to buy there Very much everything is already there
Great selection of items of all kind, from fine food to clothes.
Very peculiar shop where they supply the Royal House.
Iconic address in London, the store is on several floors and like many shops in London, brand products for the home, man, woman, children ...
The tea room is located on the top floor, and welcomes a rather affluent public. Allow 55 euros per person for a break that looks more like a meal than a snack
The tea is at will and the dishes too. These are very refined. The service is impeccable.
It is still expensive.
Lovely food hall, a big selection of tea, biscuits and gifts
Where hamper tradition started or prefected. Get your goodies but some items are there as fillers and may not have the same quality accross all products as they are made outside by 3rd party. I need a lifetime supply of Sir Nigel's please.
