I was helping my friend with getting her first apartment through Forthright and I just wanted to say that it was the best experience I've ever had with a property management company. (and I've lived in quite a few places!) The leasing staff was very nice and the office staff were extremely helpful over the phone. I would highly recommend Forthright to anyone looking for a new place!
I've had nothing but great experiences from Forthright Properties. The maintenance team, leasing team and customer service is 5 satrs all day!
We have been renting from Forthright Properties for approximately 1 year and they have been nothing but fantastic. Had a leaky dishwasher which was fairly new and maintenance replaced with brand new one.
Any requests my wife and I have had, they were dealt with immediately.
The maintenance guys are nice and helpful, however dealing with the office staff does not always get things accomplished. There are rules in place for the complex and people are breaking them all over the place.
No dogs allowed but the neighbour can buy a puppy...
I was in the Balderstone Property for 1 year and the area was overrun with children playing in streets, on fences, in front steps etc everywhere except the playground provided. Honestly, you had to watch all the time driving into the development. The grass cutting was left till the grass was so high. I terminated my lease after the one year and moved out Sept 1/2020. I left the Townhouse in excellent shape and it took Forthright Properties to return my deposit October 5/2020. I called and called and finally picked up the cheque from their office. If you need your deposit for another rental unit you might want to save up a couple of thousand dollars. Also on moving day I was told I had all day as there was no one coming into the unit. That morning of moving I was told I had to be out by 4:00 and scheduled walk through was at 3:30. Stressful. The office doesn't seem to know what the other person is doing. As I got two different personal giving me two different directions.
The water bills were very high and there was only two of us and we watched the water flow. The other tenants complained about the high water bill also.
All class. Very well built properties. Top notch. Nearly sound proof. So glad I moved my family into a Forthright Townhouse. Thank you.
Dealing with forthright properties has been an absolute nightmare. We have been now in the process of over 4 months in getting our money back for our security deposit. Their maintenance coordinator most certainly demonstrates a lack of professionalism, ability to coordinate with other departments, and perform basic mathematical calculations. Firstly, forthright got our move out date incorrect - charging us an additional $800 - when confronted, it was our responsibility to prove to them that they had the dates wrong. Second, getting those $800 has taken many emails and phone calls. We had to wait over 2 months to get our money back - and when it did come, the amount was still incorrect. Today, October 28th, 2020 - the cheque that was send in the mail, was still incorrect. It is beyond my imagination the level of unprofessionalism and incompetence this management firm has demonstrated. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, they still are finding ways to make things difficult for their clients - which in my opinion is unethical and demonstrates poor business practices. I hope this helpful for any future tenants thinking about leasing from forthright properties. I do NOT recommend them in any capacity.

For future renters: DO NOT RENT! Extremely unprofessional management. They get you to sign the lease providing promises that aren't kept. No on-site management , you can never get ahold of them if you have questions or concerns . Although the building is new, it's poorly constructed and everything is always breaking, in specific walls cracking everywhere throughout. As a tenant at 2106 De Vries Ave , I would caution renters to stay away. This building company is nothing but a headache.

They enter your suite without notice and use your bathroom . 2106 De Vries , offers no one site caretaker, main office is in Lorette, features poor communication and untrained staff.
Had maintenance come to fix my patio door and they were on time, professional, polite, friendly, personable and efficient. Richard and Justin are lovely and I feel safe and happy having them in my home.
We have been here a month and regret it. We have had nothing but problems since day one, you can t get ahold of anyone in the office and if a message is left no one will respond. On one positive note dealing with maintenance has been great as they are quick to respond and try to fix in a timely fashion.
Forthright management said that I owed them 410$ for a fire sensor that was damaged when the fire alarm went off. I never touched the fire sensor that was located on the celling. Had also just moved in and wasn't even aware there was a sensor located there. Still they made a claim against me and insist I pay the 410$ terrible first experience with this company. If this is any indication how they treat there new tenants I would not recommend dealing with this company.
My family and I have lived here since August 2018, and we have never had any problems whatsoever - the management is always super quick to be on top of any problems that have ever come up.
I would HIGHLY recommend Forthright Properties to anyone looking for a new home!

Unit was not clean when we moved in. Insufficient parking is not cleared even though it s paid for. Devries apartments is absolutely filthy, the same dirt in halls and stairwells was there they day we moved in and still there when we moved out. The only positive was the gentleman that did our walk through, he was very pleasant.. Management makes you wait to have your damage deposit mailed to you, so don t count on it for your next rental. Would never recommend this company and if we could have left prior to our 1 year lease end we would have.
I have been a tenant with forthright for a number of years now. When I first started to look to rent I did not know who forthright was, now I would never rent with anyone else but with forthright. I have had nothing but great experiences when speaking with the staff. This includes the office staff, the maintenance staff to management. They have been funny, accommodating and supportive. If I had concerns, it was dealt with and corrected immediately. If I had personal issues, they have been accomodating and supportive with no judgement. They make me feel like my needs as a tenant are important to them which makes me love where I live. The apartment itself is beautiful and has all the necessities to make it feel like a home. I highly recommend to rent with forthright management.
We have been renting for just over a year, resigned a new lease, this will be our last year here. They are attentive and helpful when it comes to issues. It is costly to live in the townhouses so a few comments since we do pay a lot to live there:
The lawn care company came very early in the morning on weekends but hopefully this summer is better, snow clearing is always fast and well done.
There are lots of children around as some other reviews said, however that is not a Property Maintenance issue, it is a parent issue. There is a lot of rules that just don't make much sense, such as no side walk chalk. I am not sure if this stemmed from a tenant complaint or an actual Forthright rule. Kids are kids and I have zero problem with them playing outside, in the QUIET street or doing chalk. We should be driving safely anyways.
There is almost no visitor parking, so there ends up being a lot of cars parked on the narrow road as we cannot park on the main road, which is public so there should be no restrictions or threats to tow.
From time to time there is an odor in the basement, after speaking to neighbors it seems like it comes from the plumbing.
Our dryer lets out a lot of dust & humidity, we clean our vent with each use and leave the doors open when in use but it does get very messy.
Overall, its a nice place to live, the walls are relatively thick. It still is a side by side so some sound does travel, especially with kids. Its safe and low traffic.
I just met the one lady and she is very helpful. Even forthright properties make arrangements for sign lease in Saturdays.. we are living in headingley and this place is so nice.. town house here are so nice.. thank you forthright properties for the house that we can say its ours..

Absolutely awful people to work with, been renting with this company for a year now. So hard to get ahold of about literally anything, wont call you back when needing information. Will make empty promises in order to get you off the phone and then never follow through. No communication between staff so when you re speaking to one person they either completely dismiss what you re saying for just don t believe you at all. There are times where I would call and they would just check on something and then I would never receive a call back and have to call them back 4 hours later to get any sort of response. Please be cautious when renting with this company and you want to make sure to cover all your bases by having EVERYTHING you want in writing and make sure you keep it with you so you can show them if they refuse to follow through on promises.

My air conditioner broke. Paul was the maintenance guy who came in to fix it. He did an awesome job! I can sleep in my apartment again without feeling like dying! And the cat liked him so 2 thumbs up!! Thanks Paul!!
I had been a bit nervous renting again but Forthright Property Managment Company has been just wonderful. All the staff are very welcoming. The office staff listens to any issues or answers any questions you might have. The maintenance crew is quick to respond.
No issues with renting from Forthright Properties. Move in was fast and easy. They were able to reassign our lease for the time period we needed. Upon move out it was nice that Forthright Properties takes the time to check everything is in good condition, they expect tenants to leave the home in good condition. As anyone moving in would expect to have a move in ready home! Forthright Properties also had our damage deposit return ready for us in just over a week! Very efficient.
Wow thank you Richard from the maintenance team did an amazing job replacing my kitchen tap, very friendly and did everything he could to make all work properly it wasn t easy taking out the old one because the threads were stripped on it, then installed the new on and had to get extra parts form building Center in town here in niverville, he never gave any negative towards the job and did his very best, thank you

Tried to book a viewing a couple fridays ago. I called numerous times around 9-10 am and their phone was off and no voice mail. Finally when I spoke to someone (brooke) she was extremely rude and disrespectful. Do not waste your time with this company. I'll spend my money where I don't get treated like garbage.

I rent one of the townhouses in Ile des Chenes through Forthright Management and have had nothing, but good experiences. The suites are beautiful and the landlords go above and beyond what is expected. When we moved in two years ago we were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and given a card/Tim Hortons gift card at Christmas. Would definitely recommend this property to a friend!
The experience that my wife and I had while renting one of the unit's in West St Paul was hands down the worst rental experience we have ever had.
First off, prior to moving into the unit, we met with one of the rental agents. When we met with her, she told us that the approximate cost for water would be 15 dollars per person, per month. She failed to mention that on top of that, that there was a $90.00 Participation Fee that you had to add onto each bill. Not the end of the world, but you would think that while speaking with your new tenants that you would mention that.
Secondly, we were the first ones to rent our unit as it was in a brand new building which looked really nice cosmetically. With that being said, starting from our moving day moving forward to the end of our 1 year lease, we had the following issues:
The bathroom was missing the giant mirror that was supposed to be mounted on the wall (day 1).
The staircase was poorly carpeted as some carpet was already frayed, and the pointy ends of the staples were sticking out of the carpet near the end of each step. Almost every day you would stab yourself in the foot with these nails / staples that were sticking out of the carpet.
The air conditioning unit was not set up properly upon installation and did not work. When we brought this up with management, it took them over a week to come and fix it.
After the air conditioning was fixed, we noticed that only half of the vents were working upstairs. This issue was brought up with management but was never fixed. So if you're looking to sweat every night, I guess this is the place for you because the unit gets really hot mid June/July.
Over the course of 1 year, we had 8 light bulbs burn out. It was made clear in the lease agreement that you have to replace every bulb prior to moving out or you will be charged. Once again, if you're planning on moving into one of these units, you should probably buy a bunch of bulbs prior to doing so.
We had spoken with neighbours who were having similar issues as we were, including the light bulbs and the vents that weren't working upstairs. There weren't many people in the area who would have anything good to say about Forthright.
Thirdly, when the lease comes to an end, they will bully you into signing a new lease whether you're wanting to stay there or not. We had mentioned that we were moving but they refused to give us any leniency with paying for a 1, 2 or 3 month lease instead of renewing for a full year. We told them they could still have people come look at the unit; but that wasn't good enough, we had to sign another full year. In addition to having to sign another full year, Forthright increased the monthly rental price $100.
As if that wasn't a big enough f*** you, the people who ended up leasing our unit in March told us that Forthright was allowing them to rent on a 3 month lease, right after we were told we couldn't.
Finally, we come to moving out, and the damage deposit. The damage deposit was $772.50 at the beginning of our lease. When the guy doing the inspections came to the unit, he was very nice and professional, and he did a very thorough job. At the end of the inspection, he told me that we would have $150.00 taken off the damage deposit due to a couple small chips in the paint, a little dust on the washer/dryer, and for a light bulb that had burnt out 15 minutes before he showed up, believe it or not. I was happy with that amount as we had taken really good care of the unit while we were there, spent two days cleaning prior to the inspection, and $622.50 seemed like a fair amount to get back.
Fast forward to April and we get our damage deposit in the mail at our new home. I open the deposit and notice that our $622.50 that I was told I would be getting back was now a mere $65.59.
In conclusion, I definitely recommend looking elsewhere for a rental unit. Yes, the area is nice, and yes, the rental units LOOK nice, but the amount of headaches you're going to have dealing with Forthright Properties and their poorly constructed unit's is NOT WORTH IT.
Matt came to look at our dishwasher not draining. He was really quick and he knew exactly what he was doing. He was friendly and professional.
It ended up being something we could resolve easily and thanks to him we will in the future. Him being knowledgeable was awesome for me, so now I know how to avoid it.
Can t wait to move out. June can t come soon enough.
Called maintenance, they responded the same day, Matt arrived quickly assessed the issue, and had a repair person on site within hours. Very happy with the service provided. Huge shout out to Matt and the maintenance team.

I just completed my move, and will miss the cutest suite I've ever lived in! As a tenant, it has been a true pleasure working with this company over the past year. They have the most flexible and understanding maintenance management and crew anyone could ask for. As a current tenant of 2-194 Thomasberry St, I would also strongly caution renters considering this property management company. They provide the worst customer service I've ever encountered. There's been nothing but problems since the day I moved in, and trying to get maintenance to not only believe that there's a problem, but to fix the problem is painfully difficult. They say they care, but they don't. Can't wait to get out of this lease.
Very nice unit, but horrendous customer service. You can never get a straight answer, and contacting anyone from their office is an absolute nightmare. Nobody seems to know anything, nor do they know who can give the requested information. Not very professional or helpful.

This is by far the WORST property management company that I have ever dealt with. They do not upkeep the property and the only way to get them to fix anything is to report them to the Tenancy Board. We complained about dust coming out of the vents, they told us we had to clean the vents ourselves. Had to force them to purchase an ac for my unit even though it clearly stated in my rental agreement that it was included in the lease. They are only interested in collecting their rent. Office staff are no help when you make a complaint about an issue in the unit. Will never rent from them again.
Nice clean apartments, they are always quick if you have a maintenance issue. But if you have a complaint about loud neighbors they don't do much really.
They suuuck. Repeatedly ignored our calls about things in the house that needed maintenance. Numerous times they scheduled showings for our place and no one from forthright would show up, so we the tenants had to do the showings ourselves, and let me tell you I gave them my very honest opinion about our experience dealing with forthright. They would schedule showings and didnt let us know they would be coming. Blatantly lied about sending us our damage deposit despite them not having our new mailing address. When we first moved in, there were a number of burnt out lightbulbs that needed changing, when we moved out all the lights, and the washing machine and dryer were working perfectly, they lied to us and are trying to say that those lights are burnt out and the washing machine is broken, despite during the final walkthrough of our home, everything was working fine and we were told everything looked good. Money hungry and scummy company. -10/10 would not recommend.
This place is horrible to rent from. They pretend to care about you as a tenant when you sign the lease however, once your in they stop caring.
They dont respond to any emails when expressing concerns. They promise all the issues will be fixed when you move in. Our cupboards have never been fixed, we have a water leak somewhere and now our water bill is over $600. Our fan in our washroom is open so its either freezing or super hot in the summer. Plus many many other issues. Theyre move out list is ridiculous! they charge way too much for anything thats wrong when you move out. The office personell is horrible to deal with. im just so frustrated with dealing with this company. SAVE yourself the hassle and dont rent from them!!!!!!!!

A lot of sublets here in Niverville too. I am extremely happy to get out of this BS. Been with them for 2.5 years. The longer we stayed, the worse treatment we got; even though we have had no complaints as tennants and had all properties clean when we moved out (Steinbach, Lorette and Niverville).

I have been blessed to have a positive relationship with property management at Forthright. Any concerns have always been handled with respect and, where possible, dealt with quickly. They have been both kind and understanding.
I am so surprised to see negative reviews about this company. I have rented from them since 2011 and have had great experiences. They give Tim's cards at move in and at renewal time, I always receive quick responses from Paige and Corwin, and they have accommodated me whenever I've asked. They also go above and beyond of what is requested of them. For example, some of the blinds in my rental home were broken and they replaced them all (within a few days of my request even though they were short staffed and it was clearly not an emergency). I have rented from a number of agencies in the city and have never received this level of service. Please don't change how you do things. Plenty of your tenants appreciate you!

These maintenance people are terrible - twice in the last few months I have seen them inside the building with no masks on. I reported it to the property manager the first time but we have another in here painting today.
Worst "professional" building management! Do not rent from 2106 De Vries Ave. Manitoba housing gets better service. No on site caretaker, building is dirty, you can never get ahold of them once you sign your lease. Call never returned, or taken seriously. They are busy building other building but can't manage the ones they have' This building attracts seniors to rent with lower damage deposit, but does not take care of their elders tenants. I hope you like snow clearing, loud neighbours, and pot smokers.You are looking at your rent, parking and utilities is about $1400 + per month. I hope you only have one vehicle , as they do not offer second parking to anyone!
DO NOT RENT from this horrible building! We all on 7 month leases at the moment, and after 3 month several tenants are subletting! There is a good reason why, nothing gets done, and we pay so much money to live in this dump. No not get suckered into living here! They do not care about you!

Hands down the best Tenancy group I have ever rented from.
First of all, it s family owned so the teams are willing to work with you on a personal level. They respond to communications in a timely manner, with respect and consideration.
My family and I have lived with them for almost two years now and we have never had a complaint. We moved from a 2 bedroom to a three bedroom unit with the easiest transition ever.
Much respect to team members like Felicia, and the maintenance team in De Vries who worked so well with us. We have a newborn and after getting approval for the new unit, they moved mountains to ensure we weren t stressed with our move out or even showing our apartment.
Let me reiterate that: they ensured they conducted the heir business around my family s setup and that is nothing short of amazing.
Their prices are unmatched especially for the space and amenities you get. Whenever there is a broad communication, they give notice with a great amount of time. Anytime we ve had any objections, they listen and do their best to assist us.

Do not treat long time tenants very well. They bend the rules for some, but not others. Money hungry.
Forthright has been nothing but amazing for and to us! When we signed our original lease agreement it was for a 1 bedroom. they then let us change it to a 2 bedroom when we changed our minds. THEN we wanted to have a unit facing the field rather than the parking lot and they amended our agreement again for us. They ve always been quick to respond to any concerns and have always accommodated us! Very pleased with the polite service and help of all the staff.

There are a lot of bad reviews I see, but this is apartment living. It's not glamorous, and things don't always get done.
As far as apartments go, this is my 5th, and best so far. The guy we used was super friendly and accommodating. The building is more-or-less well kept. Sometimes takes a while for cleaning crew to come around, but for the most part no complaints.
Building is well insulated (Niverville Apartments 425). Neighbor often is playing his guitar I can hear in the hallway, but as soon as we're in our suite it's silent.
Overall great experience; staff is friendly, the units are beautiful and spacious great value for the money. The entire process viewing, application and move in was done with ease. Highly recommend this property company when looking for a home.

It was a pleasure working with Cassidy while viewing/signing our paperwork for our unit. Once we sent in our initial inquiry, we got an answer back within only a couple hours! And with only a few emails back and forth, we were able to set up our appts to view the unit and sign our paperwork by the end of that same business day. Today when we went out to the unit, Cassidy was prompt, punctual and completely professional. She had everything ready for our walkthrough and by the end of our appt we had all of our forms signed and the keys to our unit in hand! Thank you to Cassidy and the team at Forthright Properties for all of your help!!!
Dealing with Forthright Properties has been so frustrating. They are not professional. Went to see an apartment, completed application within minutes of seeing the place. Take several days to get a reply, but told we were approved. I asked where to send the deposit and there was no reply. The next day, I was told that someone else was also interested in the apartment and that the first deposit would hold the place. Immediately transferred the money which which was deposited. Within minutes, was told that we didn't get the apartment. The company deposited the money anyway knowing it was going to someone else. It's been 8 days and I still haven't received my damage deposit back. The company accepted the money with no intentions of actually letting us have the apartment. Given the world we live in at the moment there was a huge error in judgement of how this was handled. Caution when speaking or dealing with this company. They pick favorites. Responsiveness to calls and emails is weak. Responsiveness to depositing money they should have, quick!
We had an unexpected heat issue at 8PM on a holiday. We called the emergency maintenance line and within the hour heard back from them and had them at our door step to fix the issue. That type of service is unheard of for rentals! Such a positive experience and am so impressed with Forthright for how professional they are. Also shout out to Matt for being the best!
Very Good experience overall. One small issue of toilets that would not stop running. Took several weeks for the plumber to arrive. He diagnosed the problem the first day and then came back the next day to fix it. Only part was the time it took from report to rerpair.

Very unprofessional, treat long time tenants like garbage! There is a right way to deal with issues and there is a wrong way! And they chose the wrong way for sure! Was happy here, I wont be renewing my lease again!!! People like to complain about everything, doesn't mean that its true. I was threatened with immediate eviction because someone complained about something, that's not at all true and did not happen from my unit. Instead of calling to discuss or emailing to find out if anything was true I was told I would be evicted, this was my first and final warning and if they received any other complaints my lease would be terminated immediately!! Without any proof! No prior issues or warnings and I've lived in 4 of their properties, over the span of almost 10 years!! I am absolutely disgusted with Forthright Properties!!
Worst experience renting EVER! Most unprofessional company, we had nothing but maintenance issues after moving into one of their "brand new" townhouses and they wouldn't fix anything or lied about fixing things, would ignore tenants emails, come into our suite without notice and then started charging us for calling maintenance! Took $218 because we CALLED maintenance, off our security deposit when we had to move out after only 6 months because of all the issues. Absolutely unprofessional, do not rent from them!

Our family has been with forthright for 3 years. We lived in Dawson towers in Lorette and now west st paul. We have had a few issues with our washing machine and dryer and they came that same day to assess the situation. We had a flood due to new construction and they went above and beyond to compensate us for our troubles. We have never had any issues with them and no one has ever been rude to us! Although, I always pay my rent early so I've never had any reason for conflict. Good job forthright! It's a growing company and adjustments will need to be made to make sure everything runs smoothly. People just need a little patience and kindness as no business is perfect but these guys try hard!
I don't usually do reviews for anything but the people at my apartment are very friendly and professional. They are a standout rental agency that cares about quality.
I rent at 2096 De Vries under Forthright management, first floor. They've been so nice and went out of their way to accommodate my requests and concerns.
It's a good community, and people in my building are friendly and joke around too. They are always shoveling when it snows and this place is super clean all year. My lease with has been very smooth. It's relaxing, coming from work and never having to deal with apartment problems.
Working with Forthright has been an absolute pleasure. Great company!

I had high hopes for this company and the apartment me and my family started renting last year only to have them totally dashed....
Unlike most reviewers I had several issues starting with the unlawful removal of a dog house without notice (when they allow dogs)
When I called in to the office the lady I talked to apologized and said it would be returned immediately then over a week later I get a message stating that I would need to come pick it up from their office myself or pay 50$ for them to return it and even still have an email from corwin penner (the maintenance manager) saying he removes items without notice all the time.....
Then there is the issues with maintenance itself
Our front door was kicked in before we started renting and was being held together with screws and finishing nails but wasn't replaced until this spring when I finally complained 3-4 times
Our bathtub would drop about a quarter inch when we had showers or baths and water could freely go through since all the caulking is rotted and loose and it took me yelling at them to fix the tub from dropping (but the caulking is still not fixed)
In January I complained because of the weather stripping on the main entrance is mostly gone and the doorframe is cracked allowing cold air and snow to constantly be blowing in so my hydro bills was over 250$ average during the winter months(again still not fixed)
And the sad part is I could keep going on and on and on.......
This is by far one of the most unpleasant rental experiences I've had and would suggest that everyone steer clear of their properties until they actually start doing their jobs and take care of tenants and the property they manage

Some back story. Our lease is up at the end of this month and Forthright has been showing our suite, which we have no issue with at all, and they normally let us know when the showing is by sending an email so we can make sure our suite is tidy for them to try and market the suite.
Well, this morning, I was woken up by voices in the apartment. No notice of a showing was given to us!! The woman showing our suite said no notice is required for a showing and they only give notice as a courtesy. (Which is true as we called the RTB and asked if this was allowed after this all went down). Forthright should DEFINITELY give notice EVERY TIME there is a showing so we can make sure the apartment is tidy for them.
Needless to say, it was a hell of a way to wake up. We have a new baby too which made it all the more scary when random people were in our home. Very unimpressed and can t wait to be out of this apartment building!
Worst management at 2106 De Vries Ave. This is an apartment building that doesn't offer snow clearing. Half of the building is rented by seniors. We are responsible to shovel our parking spots out. Where are we suppose to put the snow? Plus we live in an apartment , who owns a shovel? So disappointed . What do we pay for?! Management is not on site , it's impossibly to get ahold of them. Manitoba Housing get better service and snow clearing. We pay $1400plus to live in this dump. We pay extra for parking, water, and hydro.
An auto body shop has moved in next door beginning to look like Manitoba Housing! Started out nice but has rapidly deteriorated. Kids ride their bikes helter skelter and throw mud and rocks at our car as well as our neighbors car. The music from the next door tenants is super loud until 1:30 a.m. Forthright listens politely and thendoes diddley squat! Old rusted bumpers and car parts are all over our yard too! Not my idea of a residential high class townhouse living. Would not recommend it unless u want to live in redneck ville. DO NOT MOVE HERE if you are looking fir a decent, quiet neighborhood! We have been here 4-5 years and it s progressively getting worse!
I've spent 4 years in Winnipeg after moving into the city and this is by far The Best apartment company. They always professionally respond within hours. I never had one appliance nor toilet break. No leaks either. No pests and no bugs. New washers and dryers. Hallways are regularly cleaned and snow is cleared. Good working lights in all the rooms. This place looks newly built and open concept living room (it's a big living room) is a breath of fresh air. I have not gone one day without seeing a Forthright staff working on site.
I have good tenents in my building. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood. I go on walks at any hour of the day even midnight.

It is a beautiful space, lots of windows and tons of storage. The kitchen/living room is big and bright and the decor is perfect and stylish. It s great to have a basement and a garage and I was very happy when they put in the grass and tree the other day!

When I moved in I just wish someone had told me I needed to turn on the water to the appliances But I figured it out!

If I could give less than one star I would. My experience renting with this company has been nothing but terrible. Communication was promising at first when we were looking into renting from them everyone was getting back to us in a very timely manner. Everything was fine.
The issues started when we needed to communicate with them about anything after moving in. One day when we returned from a trip there was letter in our door (yes in 2019 this company communicates with paper letters in your door only)
This letter stated that there were COCKROACHES in our building and they needed to provide our suite with a treatment. What they needed from us was to empty our entire kitchen, empty all of bathroom, remove all plus covers, pull all furniture away from the walls etc.
We were given 3 days to do all of this (even less notice for us since we were away and only saw this paper letter in the door when we got home)
When we attempted to contact forthright to ask questions no one was getting back to us and once they finally did (days later) only half our questions from the email I sent were answered.
These treatments were performed THREE times. Each time with a few days notice and each time the notice was a letter in the door. I have complaints multiple times about this not being a efficient way to communicate. It s not hard to send an email. No changes.
Very disappointed with the communication in this company. Even when you FINALLY get someone on the phone and they say they will call you back with the answers THEY DO NOT.
Awful experience.
I would never rent from them again nor would I recommend them to my worst enemy.
Matt fixed the drain on the dishwasher and installed a new vent on the drier. He also did a couple other small jobs which we could not do ourselves . We are very appreciative of his work.
Enjoy the neighborhood and close proximity to shopping.
