My husband is a Harley fanatic, collects shirts and poker chips from around the US, but our home state Ft Thunder is one of his favorites. Great staff, great service, great inventory. Always a pleasure to see Jade' s smiling face when we visit. If you're passing thru Moore Ok, and a Harley lover, be sure to stop in this store!
This is probably one of the better dealerships I've been in. Everybody is extremely helpful and really have gone out of their way to take care of me. I'm not saying anything bad about the other dealerships in the area but I come all the way from the Northwest side of Oklahoma City to come down here
My old man goes there a lot and never had any problems. People are friendly and professional . Would recommend to all my friends.
.
Had fork seals replaced on bike hard to get them to call u back but for the most part their awesome
I love going to the bike nights! They are so fun and have great music. The staff is so friendly and they always have really great clothing on sale!
The best service of any Harley shop I ve visited - thank you to the attentive staff and courtesy you all showed throughout the store!
Go see Brandy for all your part needs. Great place, great service and great people.
Disaster from the start even though I bought a service plan from them on my 2017 triglide I'll probably take it to Marvin at chrome link in Lawton ok. He use to be service manager at windriver H. D. In Lawton, he's who talked me into buying my first Harley in 2008 I've had five since then but probably won't buy another one because of ft. Thunders bullshit. 2017 triglide 300 miles oil pump went out had to replace whole motor and still not sure if they really did put new motor on it after hearing about stuff that their service manager does. Maybe Harley needs to audit their shop to see if they really do what they say they do.
Posh bs joint. They really can't work on an older HD, and their an HD Dealer... WTH??
I ve purchased two bikes from FT Thunder a street Glide two years ago and a Road Glide Special yesterday. They worked with me and gave me a great deal on my bike. These guys have some great people working here. The internet sales guy Andrew was very helpful, Also my salesmen Tom was awesome. He made me feel comfortable like I was just talking with a friend, very knowledgeable guy. Brian in Finance was a super nice guy as well made the transaction very easy. Nice selection of Bikes and parts In stock, I come here several times a month.
We had an amazing experience buying our first Harley here. Dennis, Scott and Bryan all took great care of us, explaining all the details and answering all of our questions! We re definitely coming back!
Do not give this place your number! I bought from them 9 years ago and I still get calls and texts constantly asking if I'm still looking for a bike. I've asked them to stop calling multiple times a year and they won't stop! And whoever responds to these reviews is a real asshat...Also Harley World has better service and prices.
Great facility with a huge selection. Ask for trevor if you stop by! He answered all of my questions without being snarky about my lack of knowledge.
I really loved the atmosphere of the shop and the display of the bikes! Talon Reese also helped out a bunch!
I had my bike quit on the side of the road north of Ardmore. I called the dealer in Oklahoma City and they promptly told me they didn t have time to mess with me. Several people stopped to check on us while we waited five hours on the guy they recommend. One of them asked where we were taking the bike. I told them it was going to the dealership in Oklahoma City and they told me about Port Thunder. When I called them they said if I could get it there before closing, they would look at it. The driver finally showed up he got us there 15 minutes before closing. They rolled my bike in the shop and started working on it. It was two hours after closing by the time we were ready to get back in the road. Nowhere in recent memory have I been treated so well by any business. Anyone within a hundred miles of that dealership needs to use them instead of the dealership in Oklahoma City that didn t have time for a broke down traveler. I haven t sent an email to corporate yet but it s forthcoming. Thanks again.
Harley-Davidson fans, this is a place you have to visit if you are in the Norman Oklahoma territory.
You can get a bike, new or used, get anything you need for your bike, anything you need for your friend with a bike or anything you need for that special someone you want on the back of your bike.
My nephew just bought a FAT-BOY so I got him a FAT-BOY license plate and a Ft. Thunder Norman OK tee shirt. There were additional purchases for other easy riders. The prices reflect the exclusivity of the Harley brand, so expect a bit of a premium. But it is genuine Harley.
Very friendly and helpful service. Get used to saying and hearing the words sweetie and honey. Add 10 to 15 minutes to your planned visit to enjoy all of the history of Harley-Davidson.
Tammy in Parts always provides her customers superior service.
Noah Cordova worked with me to find the perfect bike. Not only is Noah personable and knowledgeable, he s also very thoughtful and enthusiastic about helping riders find the right machine to fall in live with. Thanks a million, Noah!
I bought a part...cost 160 dollars plus tax .... I ended up with a box with no part inside.. was shocked and upset I went back to fort thunder and explained my situation to manger and after all said and done they made it right with me......I was very impressed with the way they handled situation.... I ride 5 different Harley' s and when I need Harley parts fort thunder has my business
We absolutely love going to fort thunder . Ashley and Nathan are always so friendly. They even know us by name. We will always come to this location because the staff is amazing.
I got totally taken at this place, they changed all the numbers and wording on the contract after telling me that everything was included in the price we worked a deal on. What a deceptive place, lies, more lies and than more lies. They are very good at the shell game. Do not buy from this store as they are very dishonest and when you try and get them to strighten it out you get the total run around. I am contacting the Dealerboard, the BBB, and Harley about this dealerships practices. They advertise a sell price and then tell you they have to add shipping and frieght to that, and then roll that into the price at the end. And then add on any parts and labor and roll that into the price and then add it on a seperate line agine at the end. Say your taxes are included and leave you hanging to pay them at the DMV. Never been so unhappy with a buying experiance as I have had at FT Ripoff Thunder.
I had a great experience at this dealership, the sales staff was really friendly and knowledgeable about the motorcycles that they sale. James who sold me my motorcycle walked me through the differences from previous models to the current ones and Noland in sales gave me a great deal. The bike actually was list at 4k cheaper then others in that area. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a Harley Davidson.
Great selection of womens Harley clothes purses and Jewelry. And love the New Jacket I bought in brown and black , and the prices were great.Worth the drive and the ladies were so great...I love it.
Big thanks to Ben in service. Was having some issues with the bike while traveling and he helped me out without hesitation. Also went above and beyond answering all my questions.
They tell you one thing to get you to come in and then lie to your face. Don't trust their Finance Manager at all after he lied to me.
Excellent experience with the staff. They made me feel like family.
Been with Fort Thunder since they moved there...and a bit prior. Great Staff, also have worked with Tammy in Parts to get what I need (want!). On my third bike now, and looking for my next "need".
Hey, I work here. The people here are really great. They want to help the customers get a bike. I was shocked when I first started working here. I have never seen a place that is so customer friendly. The new managers they have know the product. I haven't been here that long but, from what I have seen, I am liking this place. Come out and see us!
I Love coming to this place, Mainly because Tammy Franz in parts is so nice she always has a smile and always calls me by name.. She is the only person that I insist to help me, She goes beyond what I figure excellent customer service should be... Thank You Tammy for all your service...
Had a wonderful experience.. staff helpful and very knowledgeable!!
So I previously posted a negative review of ft thunder harley because of problems with my new Harley, and because I thought they missed them. I have had problems with the bike that I just bought from them. I DID have to have my engine rebuilt, but the oil pump's part number (which they also replaced) had been superceded as well. Which means that the motor company knows it's a problem. When my fuel pump went out, I really thought I'd been had and bought a problem child, until I went to pick it up today. They told me that the fuel pump's part number had been superceded to a different number as well. Unfortunately, these bikes are being sold with parts that are not standing the test of time. That being said it's not the dealerships fault that the only way these can be replaced is under warranty. So I'd like to personally thank the guys at Ft Thunder for dealing with me in a professional way even though I was bashing them online and I'd like to apologize for pushing the companys issues onto the dealership. Also, they sell the warranty to make sure that people are able to enjoy these even if the motor company finds issues, so that the cost isn't so outrageous you cant. For that I commend them. John, Ryan, Noah, Joe and Larry in service thanks for dealing with me in a professional way, and I will continue to shop at Fort Thunder, because of their honesty. Thanks guys. (Joe thanks for the info on the superceded part number)
I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. My first experience trying to purchase a bike with Fort Thunder I was in the finance office filling out an application to purchase a breakout. After the application comes back and I get approved it just so happens the bike we had discussed and they moved to the back for me was sold to another person. The second experience was with Barry and John who I spoke with over the phone and via text messages about a motorcycle I was trying to sell. They both stated they were interested. I told them the payoff amount which was below what average trade in on the motorcycle was. They said assuming the bike was in good condition they would purchase it. I drove the hour and twenty minutes to the dealer with the bike in tow. I filled out a cover sheet with details about the bike. Before they even looked at the bike they came back and said they wouldn t be interest until March.
They are great!!! Treat ya like family and do anything to get you on one!!!
Brandy in parts is Awesome! Very knowledgeable and helpful!
Horrible service. Told the sales manager Scott what i wanted and what i wanted to pay and he comes back with way more than i told him and asked if i could do that. Spent four hours there, the salesman barely checked on me and told me there was no way i could get that bike with what i wanted and told me i needed to settle for something cheaper if i wanted those payments. I will do my business with another harley shop.
Very nice people. Beautiful store layout could not ask for more in a retail store
Liked it till today. Bait and switch marketing. Not happy. They lost our business and support.
Friendly sales staff, knowledge of what you want. great shop that tell you what you need to keep your bike in tip top shape,
The sales staff was great and it didn't take long from the time I walked to to the time I was riding home. Great price on the Harley I bought.
One of the best accessory stocked dealer I've ever seen. Clean facility, friendly staff and franky, cleanest and nicest restroom I've seen at any dealer.
Awesome place. Lots of inventory, and everyone seems to know their stuff. Friendly staff.
Tyler Kupper is the best! He has helped me with all my Harley needs. Always able to answer my questions. Best part, he s a Marine! Oorah!
MY CAREER INVOLVES NATIONWIDE TRAVEL. EVERY OPPORTUNITY I GET I ENJOY VISITING HARLEY DAVIDSON DEALERSHIPS. MOORE OKLAHOMA WAS MY MOST SATISFYING EXPERIENCE. TAMMY FRANZ IN THE PARTS DEPARTMENT IS THE MOST EFFICIENT, COURTEOUS AND THOROUGH HARLEY DAVIDSON EMPLOYEE. I 100% RECOMMEND FORT THUNDER HARLEY DAVIDSON IN MOORE OKLAHOMA FOR ALL YOUR MOTORCYCLE NEEDS. TANA WINKLER
They do a great job! Always helpful. We bought our latest Harley there and also shopped for clothes and a helmet. Great assistance and customer service.
Steve was our salesman, he was really nice, respectful and informative. Definitely going back!
On 49 state trip now 37th state here in Oklahoma came in ask in for owner of HD dealer general manager came in said owns it knew he was lying dont like liars here! Darrin Bayman is a good liar if I ever find the owner I'll let him or her know how I was treated.
Thanks
We stop at a Harley store when we travel. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly.
Great job by service dept converting M/C. Sales wouldn't give us anything for a trade-in, though.
Love the ladies here... Great place to shop it up!!!
They will not budge on price but seem to be taking good care of the deal so far making sure the bike is right.
Update
Would not budge on undisclosed damaged. Offered to buy bike back at 8K less a few days later as only option.
Paying top dollar for less than top dollar situation with bad attitudes. Even claimed I might have made the damage as if to tell me I had no proof.
I understand there might be a transition in management but no help for my situation.
Felt like I was an inconvenience that they made tens of thousands off of.
Thank you so much to Mike in parts for all your help!! Every time I need you, you have great suggestions and I appreciate having someone I can come to for help, and you already know which bike I have. Thanks for being my go-to guy!
If you need motor clothes or just some help figuring out what you need talk to Cheyenne at Fort Thunder. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. Go by and say hi!
Was going to review my awful experience from this weekend and noticed the owner has said a couple times below how nobody liked working there. It is completely obvious the staff is unhappy when you walk in the door. Nobody smiles or tries to greet you. Most employees looked miserable. Some guy in glasses was cussing at another employee in front of staff and customers. The dealership across town at least treats customers like they want them there. Maybe another management change will help. Seems like it happens every year anyway.
Sales staff was okay. Place is clean. Lock your car doors, though.
friendly knowledgeable staff.. they do all they can to get you into the bike you choose.. only downside of this dealership is the fact you can't test ride a bike until you are approved for it financially
August 2016
Where do I start...
When I arrived at Harley store I knew exactly what bike I was looking for so I already new the listing price of $5995. When I found Jerry the sales rep. I asked him what the price was for the bike and he said $6250. I told him the price I saw listed was $5995. He then informed me that was out the door. Good recovery Jerry lol.
I told him the best I could do was $5500 out the door and he said lets go in and see what we could do. He went and spoke with his manager and told me he wanted me to fill out finance paperwork. I told him I already did online and gave him my application number. He came back and told me his manager wanted us to go ahead and fill it out before we talk numbers. yah yah yah. So I filled it out and as we waited for manager to do whatever he does we walked around store to look at merchandise with lady named "Red" who was fantastic and the only reason I give 1 star. After manager did his thing he came out with paperwork and said he could do $6000 out the door. I said I already told you that I would do $5500 out the door and that is my final offer. He came back with a very unprofessional remark "Ohh so your one of those guys who are one and done?"... "One that drinks one beer and then passes out on the couch?" I really dont know what kind of business HD is trying to run but if you ask me that is not the way to earn business. At this point I pretty much just got up and left. Two days later on a monday Jerry the sales rep called me to see if I would split it with them and I told him I would have to stay at $5500 out the door. He then called me two days later on Wednesday and told me they would do the $5500. I told them I would be in on Saturday to finalize deal. This is where Saturday comes in. I go and rent motorcycle trailer to haul home and when I get there Jerry says they sold the bike already. OK thats fine that you sold it but GD! you could have atleast called to inform me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY RUDE PEOPLE! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Really enjoyed visiting!
Went into the store to look at bikes with absolutely no knowledge of motorcycles, walked out very satisfied an knowledgable! Talked to a saleswoman named Sophie, she was so sweet and very helpful! Not so sure if I'm ready for a bike, but if that day comes, Sophie is definitely the associate I will talk to! I can't say that I would talk to any other salesman, but since I'm a girl and Sophie is too, she just gets it! She breaks down the information to where it makes it easy for ANYONE to buy and manage a bike!
I have done alot of business over the years with Fort Thunder and Tammy Franz in parts has always been a great help with us!!
will not set foot in there, terrible dealer, I was a member of the HOG chapter and was removed as a member, I ask the GM at Fort Thunder why with no response
Always greeted at door n haven't ever had to wait for help with anything
