The sales and parts dept. have been great....unfortunately the service department has severe ethical issues. #1 take nightrod in for rear tire change, everything goes great (I thought), since it is winter the bike sits in garage until I take it to my real mechanic for a "once over" to get it ready for riding season. Mechanic notices black "putty" spots in 5 places where the dealer chipped my powder coating 9which I had to get repaired since it has been so long since tire change). Fast forward 2 years back to dealer for another rear tire (I know....but they are only people in area that will change 240 tire on Nightrod), this time I show then the perfect back wheel and tell them about the last tire change (which they say would never happen at Fort Thunder) so they would be careful this time. I pick up bike, wheel looks great and I hurry home (raining), the next day I notice the bike "shudders" now when you take off and when you shift gears (lower rpm range). Take it back to dealer (they are shocked) after waiting 2 hours they tell me that a mechanic and a master mechanic rode the bike and it was normal but and exhaust shield was touching frame (magic??) so that was probably the problem. Once again took bike to my real mechanic and guess what...somehow the drive compensator (cush drive) on rear wheel was torn. Real mechanic replaced bike takes off and shifts great now........YOU DECIDE........P.S. If you are in the OKC/Edmond area see Buddy at RPM PERFORMANCE!!!!
I worked for this company for a long time and even though I'm not there anymore it was the best time I ever had fort thunder is a real family company and I'm glad to still call all the people I worked with there family will not go to any other Harley dealer
I would like to thank Mike Williamson and parts for hooking me up with a new backrest set of grips and luggage rack he's always there to take care of me you need parts go to him he's the man
My Sportster was stolen. I went in looking at replacing it and they were great when they thought I was purchasing a new bike. Miraculously, my bike was recovered quickly and relatively undamaged, and my needs went from sales to parts and service.
I called last Monday (7/17) for a quote, left my info, and was told they would call back the following day. I called today (7/24) for an update and nothing had been done. It was as if I never called in the first place. I am then told that service is busy and I can't do anything over the phone. Fine. I make the trip to Moore and the girl at the service counter gives me nothing but attitude the whole time. All of this on top of the ridiculous estimates for shop time.
Save yourself the headache, drive up to OKC or Lawton. I will never spend another penny at Fort Thunder.
Tammy Franz is the best parts and accessories salesperson I ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with, she can almost read your mind, she knows what you re talking about. I go there to just buy my stuff from Tammy!
I bought a 2011 FXDWG about three months ago there,Orlando in sales was very helpful and professional.i have also bought and ordered several items from the Motorclothes DPT there usually through a fine lady named Carla.i have also had my oil changed etc and a Gentlemen named Chris was very helpful and courteous. overall a damn fine place to do buisness.
Uncomfortable experience .... please give customers a little more room to breath and without all the questions. It s good to be available, but allow customers time to think and look around.
Casey and David are spot on. I bought a dream bike i have been waiting for 15 years to buy. i had a mechanical failure on my new bike. Without even thinking about it they towed it in and fixed the very next day. The GM went above a beyond to make me happy. I would highly recommend them fir all your Harley needs. Thanks Guys you have earned a life customer.
I've bought a least one bike a year for the last ten years, and in the last year I've been doing business with Fort Thunder, I've bought two. They really get what shop should be like, friendly, informative, and not pushy. They really roll out the red carpet for you. I ride a lot of hard miles and bought the VIP plan and the service department has been great. Jesse really helped pick the right parts for my motor build, they got it done and I never have to wait. Highly recommended.
This was my first time in this shop. From the start until the official checkout........everyone, especially the ladies were exceptionally helpful. I took my daughter in for a helmet, good non-skid boots and a pair of gloves. The ladies took very good care of her. They fitted her properly for a helmet, Archie told her the importance of having non-skid boots. My daughter will be an owner soon and the thought that these people fitted my daughter with not only the best but the safety first. I was very impressed and I hope in the near future when she is ready to purchase that 750...........she'll be talking to Archie! Thanks again to everyone at Fort Thunder.
Went in for a part didn't even get in the door before I was going by a salesman. Never have cared for this dealership but it is the closest to my house. Normally I drive to I-40 or Lawton.
This place is falling apart and they get rid of the good employees that treat u like family and leave the rude ones there .I'm not going back there unless they fix it and we have been going there since Fort Thunder open. We want Mary Ann back !!!!
I loved the service provided to me by Fort Thunder! As a female rider, I was unsure of the best fit for me! Tyler Kupper was an amazing salesman and is extremely knowledgeable!
