Too expensive. They charge more than 5 star hotels. They even charge 500 to just enter the fort/hotel. Note that buffet lunch and dinner is served outside Fort in a tin shade. And if you want to see anything you have to pay extra.

I had a lovely time in this place and with the number activities at the place a one night stay was very little! We stayed in the tents and also the deluxe rooms. The staff are very friendly, food is good and the rooms are so different from ordinary hotels as it gives you a feeling of staying in the olden era. Must visit place for both family and friends. An amazing experience!

It's a historic place. If you are a human who is interested in knowing the facts you will love this place. The place is well maintained and staff is friendly.

1. it will take half a day to cover all the points as directed by audio guide.

2. Buffet is costly at chhajja with limited food menu. Go for ala carte instead.

3. You can also try payatha restaurant. It has more food options.

4. This place has some outdoor game facility. If you are in a group you will enjoy spending time there.

5. I didn't stay overnight here so cannot give specific of
Room amenities and comfort, but I feel it would be worth staying as I saw the tents were good from outside.

6. This place is not convenient for differently-abled person as the staircase are old and high.

Just an hour's drive from Pune, Fort Jadhavgadh is a perfect weekend getaway. A restored heritage hotel, the fort and its gardens have been immaculately maintained. We didn't go for an overnight stay (the rooms are priced at 10k and above). Instead, it was a bunch of friends who went there for lunch, followed by 3 games of cricket in the grounds and a quick high tea. Special mention for the buffet lunch - a delicious spread of authentic Maharashtrian cuisine!

I went to this place for Dinner but I found the food quality was not good. Moreover, one thing I do not like is couple of CATS were roaming around the restaurant area and they were putting their mouth in the food items and plates. Restaurant owner should look into this. Price of restaurant was high compare to food quality.

They offer variety of rooms for stay and the cost justifies the experience.

We visited as part of anniversary celebration of a company showroom. Breakfast was decent, but service appeared deficient. Items were not being replenished at the same pace as being consumed.

We booked Chhavni - The tent for a night at Fort Jadhavgadh. It was an unique experience staying in a royal tent inside a historical fort. Weather was just perfect. This property is well maintained and utterly clean. Staff is dressed in Maharashtrian attire. As soon as we entered, the gate keepers dressed as Mavlas played the TUTARI (Trumpet) & Dhol to welcome us. Staff then welcomes us with a lemonade and arti.
Activities here are more in the weekends when compared to weekdays but we were not bored even in less activities since we checked in on a weekday. Rightly mentioned by other fellow reviewers, Food here is not bad but not that great and rates are quite high. Since there is no other option we ended up having food here. However, breakfast was complimentary for us the other day and there was a variety of dishes served for breakfast which should be appreciated. Staff is very cordial and attentive. Post lunch, they had activities like clay painting, archery, there are cycles to roam around the fort, there is this huge lawn where one can play cricket, volley ball etc. There is this Audio Tour where we are given a headphone set with a numerical device & a Map. We can visit places in the fort and accordingly hear all the information related to the points we visit with the help of the device and the maps. All in all it was a great experience, the only concern was the rates which could have been a bit less.
We hired a cab from Pune junction to the fort which is hardly 45 mins away. The last 1km is a rough patch of road, else the journey is smooth.

Very nice fort with a great tour. It is well restored and peacuful. The restaurant is top notch (especially the jaljira drink). I did not stay at the hotel but I spoke with some guests who were enjoying it a lot and the facilities looked great. _________________________________________________________________________________
