It's simply serene and very relaxing. South East side of Pune..very neat place.
Good amount of adventure activities (shooting, archery, zip line etc) for young and young at heart to enjoy. The swimming pool is just out of a fairy tale with a neem tree in the middle.

Unique experience. All areas maintained very well with keeping historical touch intact. Good staff. Although difficult task for senior citizens and people with physical disabilities to move around due to historic structure with big size steps and staircases.

One of the finest place in Pune (especially for Recreation & Rejuvenation) and enjoy the luxury of a 5 Star with right mix of food & drink.

Enjoyed the sumptuous lunch the most with real Indian delicacies being served with promptness.

A certainty to visit again!

Fort JadhavGadh is one of the best heritage hotels of India. The luxurious greenery inside & out of fort makes it look more beautiful and asthetic. This hotel is one of its kind which has a museum inside it !

Amazingly maintained and restored. The place ambiance and the things to see are good. Though you might be definitely surprised by the after you reach because the approach road is not that appealing. Overall the museum looking cost is tend to be on a higher side people going with big crowd should keep that in mind. There is even a restaurant there with some good views. Also a great place to click some good pictures.

Fort Jadhavgarh is a fort of Pilajirao Jadhav. One of the Sardar of Shivajiraje. Now it is converted into a 5 star property with Tent rooms, Kholi Deluxe Room and Maharaja Room available. There is a museum which has artefacts from the Shivaji maharaj Era. It has an awesome collection.
The swimming tank is beutifully built and really cold even during summer times.
You can additional activities like Gun Shooting, Archery, Ball Zorbing etc at additional cost.
The food at CHAJJA restaurant is a treat. The employees are very courteous and friendly.

Overall a wonderful food and staying experience. They offer day packages as well.
Very expensive but worth the experience

It's good place to kill a day. The ambiance is good and the guided tour gives you a flavor of history. The entrance fee is Rs 500 per person which is high but fairly ok as it is privately owned and doesn't come under archilogical survey of India.
They greet you well with traditional nagada and pipudi and a welcome drink

For sure food comes here at a premium price, so I did not try it. The museum Aai is wonderful and the guide helps to make things simpler to understand.
The mawla painting and Pottery are other key activities which keeps you busy.

Honest review for the guided tour commentary many times made me feel like a advertising company where they were just potraying the picture of the loaction as destination wedding spot and group party spot

Always in my mind to visit n stay here.

Always in my mind to visit n stay here.
Disheartened
Food very ordinary.
Approach road very very bad.
Lacking in big old trees.
How a swimming pool can be a USP when each housing society has one!!
Better to head to Satara/Kolhapur or mahabaleshwar or Malhar Machi in Pune side.

Very good Day picnic. Awesome food and equally awesome service. Thanks to the staff members. I would suggest they should have the option of booking a room or some shed/tent for the day. That will be very helpful for the family with old people and kids who are there for the Day picnic.

A day well spent at Fort Jadhavgad. Their Checkin ...

A day well spent at Fort Jadhavgad. Their Checkin time is 1 pm and check out time is 10 am. Do enough price comparison before you finally book it. This way you can get some really good deals.

Welcome: We got a warm welcome with Tutari and Nagada played by one of the Darbans in traditional maratha outfit (Pic attached) followed by Teeka ceremony.

Staff and Service: Staff was very warm and welcoming and the service was up to the mark. There were some delays in getting our food to our table in the evening but we totally disregarded that keeping in mind the overall experience.

Stay: We had originally booked a tent but we were offered a free upgrade to Rain shower. Before offering the upgrade, we saw both the options thoroughly and then decided to go for the Rain shower room. I must say it was not a bad choice. Just want to mention that the washrooms here are not world class and I would call them very average. The AC stopped working at night and the technician guy who came to our room couldn't fix it but because of the cool weather, it did not affect us much. Housekeeping staff was good and quick whenever we requested for housekeeping.

Food: Before visiting when I checked online about the food, I read everywhere that it was expensive but I don't think it is expensive at all. The food was delicious to no limit. We ordered : Chicken main course, mutton starters, soup and everything was just so perfect. Breakfast was on the house (in the package). The staff was very kind to reserve chajja for us for the breakfast.

These guys arrange a lot of activities for the guests like :Audio Tour, Rangoli Making, Trekking and its all complementary but unfortunately I didn't try any of this. Loved the hotel tour which I managed on my own. This is not recommended for old people as there is a lot of walking and high stairs which are going to be difficult for Senior citizens.

Overall on a scale of 1-5 (1 being the lowest), I would rate this hotel a 4 with a caution for my review readers that PLEASE DON'T COME WITH A THOUGHT THAT YOU ARE GOING TO A LUXURY HOTEL. It's a very good hotel but not a luxury hotel. Come here for a very good experience and you won't be disappointed. Please see the pictures as I have tried clicking what was not available on the web.

An amazing heritage property lodging experience. The property is huge so you better have a good pair of legs if you really wish to enjoy all of it. My favourite spot with my family was the Kund - The Pool area. Good Food, serene calm surrounding hills, a good Spa by the O2 spa group. Good food all around. Menu might seem a little short at times but food prepared is top notch.
