Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel & Casino Reviews

This is a resort with swimming pool, private beach, casino, recreational facilities, and a small zoo. Room facilities are medium-sized?? It is said that a lot of Taiwanese people come to the casino in winter. It is the largest and best resort on the Lawak side.

Limited food since restart, lots of musty smells and signs of neglect, but the staff had been very nice and accommodating. The resort is very nice and has lots of amenities, with a huge pool. I'm sure it will eventually get aired out and be back to looking and smelling wonderful again soon.

Instagramable place with beautiful classic and vintage aura. There is no entrance fee if you just want to visit and take some pictures. They can accomodate you very well. And you can book also a room with budget friendly room.

Very large. It has a firing range, swimming pool, beach, atv, golf range, a gym, restaurants, Etc.

Felt more like a casino than a hotel to relax in. Too many koreans lounging around smoking cigarettes.

A filipino-spanish era themed hotel. It has a lusious Bougainvillea garden and a good beach as well.

It was quiet, rooms were well-maintained and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

First thing we ve noticed when we arrived was the lighting system needs improvement. When night time came it was even worse especially outside at front.
The ads about the casino is misleading, I wish they ll update their website.
At our night stay, since we didn t notice any activity in the facility, we ve attempted to drive going to the city but the street was so dark because of lack of street lights that we have to turn around and came back to the hotel.
The room that we had was alright, we have no comment to make.
The breakfast (free) was excellent and I consider it very healthy.
I m rating (overall) this place 3 stars and I don t mind coming back. I hope there will be more lights, inside and out, when we ll be back again.

the interior is old like 80's but still amaze us..details are very crafty nice for picture taking

Consider installing a bidet in every room because it's very uncomfortable to use the shower head!!!

Okay she's beautiful but strong waves in the sea and an exclusive place for nkacheck-in hotels.

Beautiful and classy place. Looks very historic looking. Last time I visited was in 2007 and their Halo-Halo was delicious. I was very anxious to go back to the cafe there and order it. This time, it wasn't as good as the few times I've been there. I was still good, but not as good.

Fort Ilocandia Asst. GM & Sarita Ablan, Director of Sales greeted us at the hotel entrance and we had a sit-down interview with them and had a walkthrough tour of some of the hotel s facilities. The hotel has 219 rooms and one presidential room which is very special. It is classified as a deluxe hotel & it is a PEZA property. It can accommodate 600-700 person for conventions. Its clients are mostly Japanese, Europeans, Chinese including online bookings & tour partners with about 80% occupancy rate with an off peak promo of P4,000/person inclusive of breakfast .
We had a sumptuous dinner at the Macau VIP room.

This is an iconic hotel in ilocos norte, it is an old hotel hotel, maintenance is good considering the age of facility. Hotel layout is nice and location is also very good.

At the back of the hotel there is access to the beach area.

The concern for this hotel is during evening it is a little bit dark going to the rooms. They should improve the lightings because many guest find it scary sometimes

The place is still arguably the best resort in the Northern part of the Philippines. It has complete amenities that will give families a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Their off peak rates are definitely worth and it can go as low as 3800 per room only.

An elegant place, no doubt. Went for a day-tour and wished to go back to stay

Haven't stayed here but they welcome tourists and locals to visit and take some photos at the resort. They also have a restaurant that serves local and international cuisine. Spacious parking area and near the ocean. I just don't like going there during night time since the road going to the resort is dark and the hotel is barely lit.

The grandness of a Shang but has somehow has gotten a little old but still very comfortable, very quiet, very peaceful. There are plenty of things to do here; horse back riding, golf, pistol shooting, archery, sand boarding, fishing, boating, ATV ride, KTV and so much more. You can literally spend your weeklong vacation here.

I did not stay in the hotel but visited the place for dinner. Good experience.

huge place. we visit here to do seminar and got the chance to have a room tour. it was unforgettable specially our buffet lunch :)

Good food.
Very quiet place but it can get scary at times, you can shout for help if there's an emergency but do not expect that someone will hear you.

This place has everything from surf to turf, horse back riding, fishing, etc. Etc

Rustic place. In need of renovation in it's facilities. Helpful staff. Advantage if you have your own car. Food is mediocre. So sad...

I love the place and ambiance. I used their olympic sized pool for my freediving training I loved it, my fellow freedivers enjoyed the challenge and for we will be back again for another pool session.
