I am not a fan of comics or figurines but my daughter is and followed her there. I was really impressed at the collections they had.
great place for all your geeky indulgence. staff are really helpful too
Very nice shop! Very well equipped! And surprisingly the prices are very reasonable. I just had one question about some "Anthem" Merchandise and the staff member said he had never heard of "Anthem". But I'm pretty sure they'll have some soon, and I was very pleased, so I'll be coming back.
Nice store with manga, comics, anime and tv shows merchandising
Chock full of every pop culture franchise imaginable
Here u just gotta come for a good comic. They have it all from comic books to manga ;)
You can't go wrong with some light reading I say
Overwhelming, so much to see and read.
But a great shopping experience. Many different products and varieties of things from different shows, movies, games and more.
The biggest forbidden planet I know. Good variety of items but I was a bit disappointed with the manga section, I just wish it was larger. The have some George R. R. Martin books that look amazing, I might be back for these in the future. The air conditioner seemed to be damaged because it was very hot.
Incredibly friendly and well informed staff; one of the must visit places in London for everything to do with Comics, Graphic Novels and 'Geek' culture.
This is a fantastic, well priced store and I always make a point of trying to visit once or twice a year.
I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a good, relaxed and friendly place to buy comics; manga; board games and tabletop supplies.
Very cool we see a lot of goodies very well at affordable prices however when storing a store employee "swing" the mugs at the bottom of the shelf so check fragile objects
Excellent selection of books and collectors memorabilia.
Mandatory visit for those who, like me, have Gadget-Mania. Objects related to every film, series or book I've ever seen or read. The prices are salty but the passions cost ...
Very beautiful figurines
A lot of manga
We want to buy everything
Great collection of pretty much everything you can imagine if you belong to a fandom (HP, GOT, TLOTR, Star Wars, Rick and Morty, among others). Action figures, pops, t-shirts, cardholders, notebooks, books, graphic novels, etc. They have More
Would have liked to have seen more walking dead products
Awesome game store with lots of different things available. I was just let down that I didn't find any Dungeons and Dragons things outside of the book section.
It's huge, but also really crowded, and somehow they manage to not have things in stock, that they do have in way smaller forbidden planet stores.
Seems to pretty much contain anything you can ever want from Sci-Fi and comics!
THE place in London for graphic novels, sci-fi and fantasy books, and geeky collectables.
Not as good as it used to be since it moved. Mainly seems to be about comics and toys. Gone are the serious books on UFO'S and paranormal. But then as its always crowded this doesnt appear to be an issue
this is my first visit to the shop, and I enjoyed but there merchandise for super heroes is quite limited only DC comics heroes. the comics and book offer is completed
So much nerdy stuff! What a haven for geek-kind. Friendly staff too!
It would be difficult not to give it 5 stars -- if 5 stars doesn't mean "the best of its type in the country" then what does it mean. If you're after a good sff/comics/genre/etc store in central London then there are a bunch of decent places, and then there's FP.
Love the shop. Way too much to choose from and you could spend ages looking around.
A good place to visit to buy Japanese and westrent manga and commics.
Also video game merchandise.
Love the books and graphic novel sections downstairs. Thought they'd have a lot more kinds of merch though, barely anything in the video games section
The figure selection is amazing. The manga selection downstairs is pretty good however was missing a few products I would've liked to purchase
Mandatory step for action figure collectors ... marvel-dc-movie-manga ... I recommend you go with your wallet full !!
Perfect for comics, funkos and various doll geeks like me
This is your go to place if you need anything from any fandom. From books and films to games and comics. If you need it, forbidden planet has it. Absolutely amazing. 10/10
The place to find enthusiast merchandise in London, I make sure to visit whenever I'm in the city. The stock changes every few months and there is always a great variety available. Also hosts book signings, from which I've gotten signed copies of some of my favorite authors' books.
A fantastic store all your, si fi and fantasy comics, books, models, figures, t shirts + more
Dissapointed... i went there expecting find lots of things about... Star wars, Marvel, DC ... its a shame very poor: a big place for nothing. New York shop have for breakfast fp london megastores... get on tune boys.
The biggest comics and collectables shop I've ever visited. It's always crowded, but for good reason.
Wide manga range, always love popping here when in London.
Any Comic or Pop Culture fans dream come true. This store is amazing!
A good site and full of varied articles that yes, something expensive some things
Looking for sci-fi deals is the place to go.
Here you can find everything from most series, figures, lego, posters etc., etc.
The whole basement is a well-stocked bookstore where you can find most things you didn't think existed.
The shop for comic book fans, role-playing games and nerds in general. On floor -1 you find the impossible comics!
The best shop in London for all things pop culture. Books, Anime, Manga, Collectables - all here. While not the cheapest, it's usually fairly competitive, and with a 10% student discount!
Biggest Comic and geek culture shop in London. Range of items on sale is huge but prices aren't always the most competitive. Despite that still a great experience.
Guess it's pretty cool but I wouldn't call it a super store. Kinda underwhelming
Excellent spot for new British and American comics but not the spot for back issues.
Geek out over all that amazing stuff! Don't forget to go downstairs to see comics, graphic novels and lots of books. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Beware: There might be a signing going on :)
It's my home from home and makes me wish I had my own private space to house all the comics and action figures in the world.
The staff are really helpful and especially in terms of comics there is a real varied choice from the big boys such as Marvel, D.C and Image to Indies.
I love it as a place to browse or if I'm looking for something specific.
Lots of choice and cult stuff from marvel through to horror to japanese. Lots of figures. Layout of store is confusing not clear where to pay and lots of wasted space in foyer area.
You come in and are greeted by a wall of cool characters that I personally almost without exception wanted to buy if I had enough money and it goes on throughout the store so on. What bothers me personally is that the selection of fallout merchandising is almost nonexistent. If you've done several rounds in the store, you'll notice that there's an unbelievable amount of books and mangas down below that leaves almost nothing to be desired.
Love it here but spend too much here . Would recommend to any collector
Good selection of nerdy comics and toys to look at.
For who is Geek, can not be without knowing, if it comes in London passes ... Fantastic shop, absolutely maddening.
Very good !!!
Forbidden planet never fails to make me smile whenever I go in.
They have a wide variety of different geekery, whether you are looking for comics, models, clothes, books, dvds/blurays, games or even signings (on the right days) this is the place for you.
The staff in there are really friendly and have a huge knowledge of what is instore/soon to arrive/quickly sold out. They are very helpful, give service with a smile and seem to really enjoy their jobs.
Great selection of comics and pop vinyl, plus lots of cool stuff
Great store with amazing stock for a geeky bloke like me
Palace of dreams for any TV, movie, fantasy, comic book or other fans. My wife had to drag me out kicking and screaming.
Great selection of cult memorabilia from Sci fi to horror to video games. Loses a star for confusing layout
Definitely worth a visit if you re even mildly interested in popular culture. From a huge range of Pop figures, to a dedicated floor for comics and a range of exclusive merchandise, all at regular retailer prices. Hard to resist purchasing everything if you re a fan.
So.. Much... Stuff...
Busy as hell though
Your place for everything you might consider geek.
From comic books, novels, action figures, stickers, posters and tabletop games...
