I absolutely love this place I love the sandwiches I've tried many different kinds and the people are always Pleasant I like family places and yes you can bring your kids to the small cafeteria that they have

The taste-epic.
They have the best meats, best cheese, best & freshest breads, oils, etc.
Its arguably the best of its kind within this galaxy..yet based on the super prices, and they obviously give you too much everything- every time..i dont understand how they ever really make money.

This place was fantastic 3 decades as a child and it still fabulous now! They have the best combo this side of the planet!

Great sub at a reasonable price. Make sure you bring a couple thousand napkins because the amount of oil on here will make a mess anywhere.

Bought some Italian sausage to make pasta fazool it came out great. Italian deli meats and baked goods are few and far between on the southside of Chicago this is a great place to shop for Italian food fair.

The sandwiches here are the best! You get the most bang for your buck. They do not skimp on any toppings like some other places do! My parents ate when they went to uic and told me this place is a gem and I agree! Service is speedy and helpful and im always full from their sandwiches. Highly recommend for any hungry people in little Italy

Delicious! Hands down the best meat balls I've ever had. Incredible ravioli too! Everything is fresh and homemade. Do yourself a favor and just go eat here. After you're done, have a canoli.

Every time I am in this area, I have to stop here. Truly a great Italian sub.

The staff are very cheerful, and they have probably the best subs in Little Italy. Service is very fast, and there's also a stamp card program and a student discount!

Over good quality sandwiches my only issue is they don t wear gloves on my second time buying a sandwich here the guy pushed garbage down with his bare hands and wiped his hand on a towel then proceeded to make my sandwich I left

Great, quality subs and is family-owned. Lots of regular customers and UIC students. Good place to stop and get a quick and ultra casual lunch

I don t live in Chicago as I lived in Florida for most of my life and recently Dallas, but on the off chance I get to visit my favorite city in the US, I have to visit Fontanos. They absolutely have the magic! Best subs in the world right now! I take is much is I can back home on the plane. Can t wait for my next visit to Chicago.
