Tl;dr Don't ever EVER rent from these guys, they do not care about their tenants. So let me start by telling you about how I moved in. I took over part of lease of a town house and it was a right pain to get my name on it. Now I know that's probably cause legal business business business but when you have to drive 30 minutes at 10 at night to an unknown home in order to get your key that's some shady business right there. Now luckily once I moved in the place was pretty nice...until something broke. Like the AC pretty much every single year during the summer. Hope Florida is not to hot while you're waiting for a month for these guys to get someone out there. But the worst part of it all was when a water system broke in our living room. For THREE MONTHS we were trying to get someone out to our house to fix this thing and repair it. And what happened when they finally got there? They said we now have a bunch of mold! No duh! So what did they do after this? They said "Yeah we'll let you out of your lease if you'll move out in less than two weeks." Not "Hey since this is our fault we'll set you up somewhere while we get this fixed." but just a get out. Honestly when I told my aunt who was a lawyer about this she was ready to get on the phone and sue someone because it was an absolute outrage! I was homeless for over a month (because shock you can't find a place to live in a week and a half) because these guys wouldn't come and fix this problem! Honestly I'm almost glad it happened because with how they were treating us I don't think I could've lived there any longer.
Warning!! DO NOT rent from this people. They never answer when things brake down in the house. They do not care what happens in HOA community houses.
I highly recommend Flarent. I rented from them for three years in the Orlando area. They were always available to take my calls, answer my emails and work with me regarding my lease. Very professional company!
Complete scam, these people are lairs and thieves. Do not trust them with your business as a tenant or to rent your residence. They forge documents, lied about fees, and ultimately stole money from us. THEY ARE CON-ARTIST

I lived in one of their houses for the the last four years and I have to say that it was the best renting experience I have ever had. I would still be there, but I was able to buy my own home. Robert Vasquez always took good care of me and was always responsive and quick to repair anything I every needed, he really went above and beyond. Thank you Robert for years of easy renting!! I highly recommend them to anybody!!
We have been using them for years to rent out our properties. Kenny is a good guy always helpful. Highly recommended if you have rental property you want to keep occupied and your houses well maintained. These guys do a good job. We have 3 houses with them for many years.

I called about a current listing. I get "yeah" responses with no want to help the individuals calling. I understand if you need someone to rent sooner than they planned, but being rude is no way to get returning clients. I don't recommend looking through this company unless you're desperate.
Most incredibly unprofessional company it has ever been my displeasure to work with. Paid on time monthly for over 3 years but they were constantly annoyed if we ever needed to call and would often times avoid communication or never provide clear solutions or answers. The house was provided in terrible condition, they never cleaned or painted and there was even mold growing on the windows that I had to bleach off.
Been a FlaRent customer for over 10 years I have to say that the company and its staff have always made me feel like part of the family. My family and I rented a home with FLA Rent for 10 years. During those 10 years, Geoff & Rebecca along with the rest of the staff were nothing but polite, helpful, courteous and kind. We have so many good things to say about this company. Whenever there was an issue with something in our home, all we had to do was ask or fill out a service request and it was taken care of immediately. My experience with this company was straight-up hellish, and it was 99% because of one employee of theirs (let's call him Smith). I lived with a few roommates and I ended up being the one to be the designated contact for "Smith". "Smith" was unprofessional, downright rude, terrible at communicating, and ultimately the reason we had to move out with almost no notice. He literally did not know or understand a housing code about the number of people allowed to live in a property (also really stupid, but that wasn't up to Fla-Rent) that had been recently updated in the county. You know, the sort of information his JOB requires him to know! On top of that, we had to be informed by the HOA that we were violating it unknowingly because they had told "Smith" several times that we were violating this code in a space of more than a MONTH and he never told us! Fortunately, the woman at the HOA was very understanding of what we were dealing with and helped us get everything resolved, even though we still had to move out. But I was the one who ended up having to explain what the code meant to "Smith" (he actually did not understand what it was) and WHY it meant we had to leave. Are you freakin' serious?! Near the end of this nightmare I literally had anxiety every time I looked at my phone because of his habitually rude texts and calls, which were usually about some nonsense that was almost ALWAYS because of something HE screwed up. Not to mention how we were completely ripped off when we went to move out despite it being their fault we had to move so suddenly. Hands down, the worst experience I have ever had with a property management company, and that's saying something, considering I've dealt with some pretty snake-y realtors before.
We are owners of home in the Central Florida area, Erin rents out our house while we live out of state it is truly trouble free! Erin is able to take care of everything while we are gone, she is a wonderful property manager!
They work with you and they are very polite, a respectable company.
My family and I were long time tenants of Flarent. Geoff was always very friendly and responsive. Fred was always quick to come out whenever we had an issue. All the repair companies they work with are fast and professional. Highly recommend.
My property manager was Erin until she left & she was okay. Our new property manager was Lee & we were left to deal with things ourselves. The company as a whole is very unprofessional and has no regards for the tenants. We called & filed online several times throughout the year for work orders & appliance replacements. During the COVID-19 pandemic they were rude & unprofessional in their conversations with us. Robert Vazquez was the worst out of all that we can in contact with, he tried to show our house while it was still occupied (which is against their policy) & refused our request on masks when entering the house.
I was very pleased with the service I received from the viewing of my new place to the time I went to the office to sign my lease. Everyone was so kind and sweet, they made me feel right at home. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.
We only lived in their property one month. All monies were paid online even after we moved out. The first issue with rent was after we moved since we were still obligated to pay for the next two months (we were breaking the lease). The first payment didn t process for whatever reason; we were notified after the grace period.The payment ended up being processed after the grace period which allowed a late fee to be added. The late fee was not reflected in the balance due so when we made that payment we had no idea a late fee was added. We we already in the process of contacting agencies in our new state and of course used our previous address as a reference sine we followed the requirements for vacating early as well as to my understanding paying on time. Well we found out there was a late fee unpaid when a rental agency in our current state contacted us to inform us. Needless to say I was annoyed but I hurried to pay the fee I didn t even know existed. Erin is the agent and informed me when I complained she would refund the fee but the final payment, from the additional two months required was not paid. I informed her it was not showing on the website under our account balance and asked if she could get with someone to post the balance so we could pay, (you can t add money when the account has a zero balance), never happened. Anyway the final payment was eventually made when they posted it so I was relieved to be done with that and hopeful we would receive some of our deposit since we only lived there one month. We did not get the late fee back and we were refunded zero dollars. They charged us $700 to list the property again even though we already paid for two months we weren t even there. They charged us $50 is damage which was expected after only being there one month and they charged an additional $500 in rent! Save yourself the trouble and do not rent from them if you want any portion of your deposit back. Once we informed them we were breaking the lease Erin went out of her way to be difficult as if relocating wasn t stressful enough.
Very bad company, people stay away from them!!! Liars and financial afferists company! Do not trust them!!!! My family had a very bad experience in their property!
Florida Rent is the best management company in central Florida. They really care about the tenants.
Bad experience! As tenant or perspective tenant, don t give them a dime until you do a walk through of the home and see what you re getting yourself into. The house I was going to rent had a terrible flea problem, mold in the AC system, and a handful of electrical safety issues. I decided not to rent from them and when I brought it to their attention, they gave me only half of my deposit back, which made it very difficult for me to find another place.
