Promises promises promises! Everything will be covered by the warranty . Come to find out the car we bought from Five Star Ford of Dallas had been broke into. The driver door was bent out so you can hear the outside, the passenger door was scratched and the shift boot was broke. We asked them about it and they told us everything would be covered by warranty. Wouldn t be a problem. Not the case at all. They are telling us we re on our own now. We drove away.

I just bought my truck 6 months ago. In those 6 months I have had my truck in the shop 4-5 times for repairs. The service is always good ans friendly. The last time I was in was because of a headlight being out. Again, I bought my truck 6 MONTHS AGO. They charged me >$100 to replace a bulb because this wasn't covered by the warranty. 6 MONTHS AGO!!!!
I love the service team but was appalled by the charge.

I also got a bumper to bumper warranty but of course the don t tell you all the expensive parts and repairs aren t covered. THESE GUYS ARE SCAM ARTIST. Consider buying elsewhere.

Because of Covid-19 things are a little crazy. But I must say that I am pleased with how the purchase went. I got on my car. My credit is not the best but yet they were able to get me financing on a 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium Edition! The car was clean, looked brand new. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle. I would recommend giving them a call.

UPDATE, I was invited to give them another chance. I did, although i was on guard, everyone i talked to was super friendly. I found the truck i was looking for and they were wanting to sell it. I am currently shopping with Louis Jiang, this man is an Amazing Car Salesman. I am shopping to Step-up the current Mustang and I need a Truck for my business. Mustang just finalized on refi so I am waiting until the perfect deal. No rush or impulsive buys.

In the meantime, I brought a friend to buy a car - someone with bad credit that just needed some wheels. Louis got him into a 2008 Ford Focus with 120k miles for $5,000 Sticker. He put $2k down, and has 15 months of $285/mo. and then he owns it outright. This was done with a 488 FICO!!!!!

Louis keeps in touch with me probably weekly and I received a call from the Sales Manager asking how my car shopping is going, just for a follow up. These are professionals. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP. THIS PARTICULAR ONE IS THE BEST FIVE STAR BRAND.!

The entire car buying process could not have gone better. I was greeted by the sales staff promptly and in a friendly, non-intrusive manner. They encouraged me to take as much time as I needed to consider all of the various vehicles I had interest in. Once I narrowed the choice to the one I thought I wanted, they allowed me to test drive the vehicle without any sales representative tagging along, which I really appreciated.

We reached agreement on the financial particulars fairly quickly and definitely painlessly. Completing the paperwork was also simple and as quick as could be expected. If their service department performs as well as the sales department, I will be a loyal customer for a very long time.

Worst experience ever! Called to purchase a vehicle from Charles and he informed me on Saturday the vehicle I wanted was available started the purchase process. Didn t hear from him for 3 days. Finally got him on Monday he told me he was working on my folder and would call me back in 5 minutes. Several hours went by called him back he didn t answer. My husband messaged him he informed us the vehicle we were purchasing had already been sold and he had another one that had just come in that was equivalent to the one we wanted and he would be sending information on it first thing Tuesday morning. Never heard from him. Called on Tuesday afternoon to find out he called in sick got a manager on the phone saying he would find out what s going on and would call me back. Another salesman Alex called me back and said he would email me vehicles to see if another was suitable because the one Charles claimed he had was non-existent, never got and email. Called on Wednesday and Alex was off that day. Got a manager again and he said he didn t know what was going on and finally we said we would not be doing business with this dealership and please do not contact us again. Been lied to by more than one person at this dealership so beware! Wouldn t buy a car from this dealership ever!

I've had the most frustrating experience all this ...

I've had the most frustrating experience all this week and today dealing with Five Star Ford in Dallas (formerly Plano).

1. Phone tag for a week about wanting to reschedule my car appointment.
2. They CANCELLED my appointment without talking to me first. (They ended fitting me back in on the same day even though they were completely booked at a later time.)
3. They moved to a new location which I had to find out on my own.
4. When I arrived, they told me the service I have already paid for is no longer available. (They fixed this.)
5. After the Autobutler service was performed, the exterior looks great, but I can't even tell anything was even done on the interior.

Service representative, Ben Taff, is a passionate man that really delivers on quality service. Then the salesperson ask us to meet him at the taco cabana near to get the keys( so unprofessional) to make the client happy they told us they would do a deep clean whenever and fill the tank up. They made sure my truck was repaired with all new parts, even though the insurance company wanted to use used parts. When I got my truck back everything was perfect, there was no pull or rattle and all the work is guaranteed by the dealer. It took longer than I had hoped but there was substantial damage to my vehicle and now it is like new. I will recommend them to my friends.

It made the time at the dealership for the test drive and paperwork much more efficient. We were in and out within an hour and a half, which is unheard of in my car buying experience. My previous car before purchasing our Platinum Expedition at Five Star was a Range Rover that I would have serviced in Frisco, TX and they NEVER gave me the attention and quality service like Freddy has! Thank you for always treating us like family. Yesterday I took my wife's Expedition in for the Auto Butler service and my very own Platinum F-250 for the same service today. Beautiful work! This place is great! The only place I would trust to put a supercharger on my Mustang GT everything went just as they said. I love my car even more now. Caesar the ROUSH mechanic is the best, he really treated my car with respect. As far a pricing they are very fair on what they charge me. No hidden fees when I went to go pick up my car. I came in for an oil change and a repair on a Saturday afternoon about 15 minutes after the service department closed. I work long hours during the week making it impossible to get in for service. Iliana Alfaro was the best customer service representative I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. She saw my concern about trying to figure out when I could get my truck back in. She was actually off and leaving but stayed late and got my truck scheduled for the repair and oil change that following Monday. Iliana Alfaro put me in a loaner so I could leave my truck there. Because of people like Iliana I will be a Ford customer for life!

Disappointed with the service . We had purchased 2019 Ford Explorer ( 7100 miles) last Saturday n we found out there are some minor scratches in the exterior which the dealership agreed to fix them. I also experienced wheel alignment issue n the oil life only 24% after driving the car for just an hour.
I have dropped the vehicle this Monday for addressing the scratches , oil change n wheel alignment issue n they promised to finish the work in 4-5 days max but when I called them today they are saying that still working on it and they didn t want to give me a date since exterior paint work depends on the weather .

My sincere suggestion is that a dealership has to inspect the vehicle thoroughly both interior n exterior even for used like new cars before selling to the customer. It ll save time n effort for both customers and the dealership.
The only good thing is that Mr. Jose Arias , the sales representative did an excellent job to show the vehicle n give it for a good deal .He also responds quickly whenever I call or text him and answers each n every question of mine politely .

I would not recommend this dealership for others for the quality of vehicles they are trying to sell especially the used like new cars.

Next level of terrible customer service where a salesman asks customer to get out from the dealership.
I was actively looking for a Ford Mustang premium. I called them for a mustang premium for a price that was agreed by a sales person over phone. When I went to the dealership, they assigned for a different sales person. He checked their inventory and said he will get the keys for the car and will take for a test drive and then disappeared. We were waiting for almost 45 minutes in their cubicle. Since there was no sign of him coming back we decided to go out and check for that person. Just when we came out he came and assigned for another person. And the new guy said a different story that the car is having a water wash and will be here anytime now.
Now he took us to his desk and checked his inventory Said he I going to get the car keys and he too went somewhere for few minutes. Finally came and said they don t have the mustang and don t know where it is. He again said he will again go check for the car and came back saying who told you that we had the car in the dealership. My uncle who accompanied me go mad asked why is everyone telling us totally different stories. We are pretty sure this is a minute job , and all the details about the car can be found in their inventory. He said I am sorry man there nothing I can help. And when we were trying to walk away he said the golden words GET OUT FROM HERE. I complained Rene but never got back. I heard from same negative feedback because do the same sales person from one of my friend who tried to buy a Shelby from there.
Me and my friends were going to buy mustangs for each one of us from a same dealer. But after this I strictly told them not to do any business with them. Fortunately we got a much better deal and good customer service from a different dealer.

This place is impressive from arrival all the way through the satisfied feeling you have when you drive your Five Star serviced vehicle off the lot. From the state-of-the-art facility to the first class service writing, and the honest, excellent technicians I felt like I was getting the best service possible for my vehicle. Jose, my service writer did a great job. He was friendly, positive, and attentive. I requested a tire rotation (in addition to oil change and inspection) on my motor home which I had recently purchased. When I returned to pick up my RV Jose explained to me that the technician could tell that the tires had recently been rotated and did not want me to have to pay for a service I didn't need. I don't think I've ever had that happen before. I left with the assurance that my RV was ready for the road, and with less expense than I had expected.

Message sent toJoey,: I have decided to part ways with Ford. I really wanted the GT500. It upsets me to think Ford could not wait for 5 days for a sale. I bought a 2020 AMG GT 3-months ago. Jordon at Mercedes has not given me any Problems. For his professionalism I have given them an extra 5,000.00. I'm disappointed but there is Plenty if nicer cars to choose from.

He told me that I had to have the money the next day or he could not hold it. The next day he sent me a text message of just an emoji . At that point I decided to part ways with Ford completely. I had a horrible experience at Five Star Ford of Plano/Dallas Service Center. I have a company car and I was told by the leasing company to go to the dealership when I damaged one of my tires. I called them prior to coming. I got to the dealership around 4PM and was asked to speak to the same service person who had answered the call (Ben). He said they would take a look but did not provide any information on how long it would take and if I should leave and come back later. I waited for another 30 mins and went back to see Ben and only then did he inform me that they could not start working on my car until the leasing company authorized them to and that the leasing company was not picking up the phone. It was around 5PM and he said they close at 6PM. Why couldn't he have told me this earlier! So I called the leasing agency myself and asked them to speak with the dealership to authorize the service. I went back to Ben but he was busy on other calls and ignored me so I spoke with another service person who basically told Ben that he has take care of this. I asked Ben if I could get a loaner since it was getting late and was told they don t provide loaners. My car was finally ready after 6PM but again Ben did not come and let me know and I had to ask someone to find him so I could take my car. I understand that it gets busy at the service center but all I'm asking for is better communication instead of totally ignoring your customers.

Called in the day before coming to schedule service appointment and was told that no appointment needed. Service advisor told me that they are not taking appointments. Was told that shouldn t take too long either for the service ( 1 hour on average ). Came the next morning, and the first question was if I scheduled an appointment. I told the guy that I was told that I didn t need one, but he started arguing with me ( don t know why... ). Wait time was 2.5-3 hours. Came to this new nice and beautiful dealership first and now the Last time. Went back to North Central because they always take care of me. Don t recommend this place, and advise supervisors to train their teams.

Everything went as expected. The service department was very clean and the employees were wearing masks and social distancing as much as possible. It took maybe 5 minutes to get my car checked in. I was told what to expect about when my car would be ready and was notified by text about an hour before. It was ready when I arrived, my car was washed and I was on my way in about 10 minutes. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Salesman provided me with a walk around video so I drove 300 miles to buy from them. No crazy additional fees, everyone including the finance manager was on point!
