Everybody at the dealership are friendly and take the time to get all the details right and make the purchase as convenient and easy as I have ever experienced.

Nothing is perfect but this dealership really tries hard to reach that goal. My trip started with an appointment with the Service Department for a scheduled oil change. That first impression changed the way I would think about Ford Service. The most amazing thing about Five Star Ford Richardson is that they treat you as if you are important to their business. What I mean by that is they didn t get mad when I told them I had an appointment with a different service person and did everything to get me checked in and ready for my service person as soon as he finished what he was doing then. At the last Ford Dealership they fought over who would service the next customer and everybody there seemed angry that they had to be there. Not so at this Dealership and everybody works with and for each other. This is a place you wouldn t mind stopping by to say hello to anyone there even when you didn t need to be there.

I'm marking this 5 stars, but in reality, I would make it 4.75. In general, my overall experience with Five Star Ford has been very good. This particular review has to do with my purchase of a 2020 Escape SE recently(BTW, I LOVE this car!). Everyone I came in contact with was polite, friendly, and treated me well. The reason for reducing the rating by a 1/4 point, was the time frame involved. I was in the store for 3 hours, which seems an inordinate amount of time to me. Again, I've had multiple dealings with this dealership, both before, and after this purchase, and I highly recommend it to family, and friends. Their newer facility in Dallas, seems to be state-of-the-art, and larger than the old one in Plano. I foresee a long relationship with Five Star Ford of Dallas.

Worked with Yama on this past Saturday, to find the best upgrade from my 2015 XLT. Not only was he patient but very transparent with what he could do for me. He went above and beyond to find me the best deal, and the options he showed were all consistent with my wants. He made this process easy and enjoyable for me. I ve been with Ford for over 12yrs and he was the best salesman I ve worked with. As for the dealership top of the line service, from the moment you enter the door til you leave. Everyone was very welcoming and willing to help. Excited to have found a dealership to call home.

They were so accommodating and the gentleman that picked up and and delivered my car back was great. I am a PROUD FORD customer for life!

Cynthia in the loaner department was very kind to me and my daughter and even saved saved my scooter from the trunk of the car I borrowed while my truck was having a bed cover was being put on. Not so!
My sales person had nothing ready and ignored me for 45 minutes after my arrival at an appointed time.
It took another three and a half hours to complete paperwork.

I probably will not shop this dealership again.

Went in with intentions of purchasing a new vehicle that night. I was pre-approved through my bank as I always do. The salesperson and the manager were very condescending and ended up eventually leaving with the salesperson suggesting I go to another dealership and she even said "they're open til 9" as I was walking out the door. It was a very insulting experience. I'm not sure who they thought they were dealing with but I did purchase a new vehicle from another dealership that night as I had intended to do. I have a position of notifying Ford of any such good or bad experiences and I will absolutely be doing so in this instance. Unbelievably humiliating experience that I have never experienced in over 45 years of buying vehicles. They need to hire some adults in sales and a manager who is over 12 with knowledge of customer service.

We visited this dealership with the possibility of purchasing two F150's. One King Ranch and Roush Nitemere. Since one of the vehicles was a Roush we were paired with their Roush Specialist. The Rep was able to locate an F150 King Ranch at another dealership, bring it in and the purchase process went smoothly. Now for the Roush Experience. The Nitemere I was paired up with had some issues on the first test drive. On the second test drive they allowed me to keep and drive the truck overnight. I had been assured the issues had been resolved. They were not! I returned the vehicle to the rep the next business day and explained why I would not purchase this particular truck. The rep was obviously not happy and simply walked away with the keys never asking to see if he could locate another truck. I also inquired about a special edition Mustang I was interested in and was ignored. Bottom Line, This rep was simply rude and never thanked us for the purchase of the 70K King Ranch.

I purchased a Jeep from Sam Pack Five Star Ford of Dallas 8900 President on 6/18/20. I had it pre-inspected by a Jeep dealership and they found issues with the AC Hose/Unit despite David insisting the vehicle was good. David Greenleaf only offered to deduct less than half of the repair amount but I still decided to purchase the vehicle. And apparently being Hispanic and stating you will pay cash for a used car makes you implicit in illegal activities in their eyes.
Make sure you get an inspection before buying from this dealership!

I took my car into the service department for the Takata Air Bag recall after receiving multiple notices in the mail. The service advisor told me that my car was under an extended warranty and that it did not need to be fixed... I called the Ford Customer Service line to confirm that my car was affected by the recall. They confirmed that it was affected by the recall. I took it to another dealership and put in the new air bag.

I would not recommend coming here. There were a few issues with the process. I never actually received an email confirmation of the service and the name of the service advisor I was assigned. When I called to book the appointment, I had asked for a loaner car and whoever made the appointment did not make such arrangements. Finally, who denies someone service for a recall that has put lives at risk? I could ve been seriously injured and this dealership would have been responsible as I had done my due diligence as a car owner.

UPDATE (11/18/2020) After making my original post, I received a call from Keith Drake, the service director regarding my situation. He let me know that my car situation was a special case and there was a simple mistake made. Jerry Thompson, the service manager, gave me a call soon after and rectified my situation almost immediately. Again, absolutely no problem with the service I receive from Ford. They were very apologetic and timely with their service. I appreciate their efforts in fixing the problem at hand! My review has gone from 2 stars to 5!

(Long but honest review). I love the level of customer service I get here. I just haven't had the best service/financial luck at this location. I drive a Ford Fiesta. The first time I came to get work done, I had a list of items that I needed to be fixed so I compared a quote that I had with Ford's prices. Ford ended up being cheaper by about $30 so I left my car there to get serviced. My service ended up being a bit over $1200 but I felt that since I had gotten great service, it was worth the price. I got my car back, everything was great but then I noticed that my side mirror was loose. Now I know for sure that it was not loose before because when I got it back, I heard the broken part of the mirror clicking on the side of my car. I took it back to have it looked at again, without blaming anyone for the issue and they told me a service man's daughter had the same issue with her car. They just said, "these things happen". I just figured I would've noticed it before. After already paying over $1200 for previous services, I had to pay $68 more to get my mirror fixed even though I had not caused the damage. Moving along, a couple of months later there was a recall on the locks of my door that I was asked previously to come in to get fixed at no charge. I knew this was coming up so this was no big deal. While my car was there, I decided to also ask for the servicemen to fix my car charger outlet as well. I was then told that it would cost $140 to diagnose the problem and then whatever the cost was to actually fix the problem. After my services were complete, I came out spending a close to $400. When I got my car back, I noticed the next day that it was making a funny noise. Again, this was not the case before because I had gotten a full service check before this. When I attempted to drive it to the gas station, it stopped multiple times in the middle of the road. So I called Ford to let them know since it had only been 1 day since I got it back and they asked if I could tow it to their facility (again, more out of pocket for me). I towed it to their facility and they told me that it would take a few days to fix it. Again, no problem because I needed my car to run smoothly. But at this point I noticed a pattern, that every time I took my car in for service, I had a new problem. When the servicemen called me to let me know the cost of my services, my total came out to be over $900. This included another $140 to diagnose the new problem. With COVID and job losses, I thought this price was a bit steep but I needed my car. When I got my car back, everything was perfectly fine for the next week until I let my passenger side window down for the first time since getting my car back and the entire window fell inside the door. This time I had noticed the pattern of my car's mishaps so I called an individual contractor to come and look at my window. When he did he said that he noticed that someone had opened the panels of my car door because they did not replace my screws properly. I let him know that I had recently gotten my locks changed due to a recall on my car. He diagnosed the issue with my window and said that whoever worked on my locks misaligned my window as well causing it to fall off of the track. Again, this location has wonderful customer service and a very easy rental process, but the car service issues that I have had within the past 2 months have been a nightmare. And the fact that I won't get that money back is a huge bummer.

He never hurried us to purchase and he was understanding of our needs and our time. We could not come to an agreement on the pricing of the vehicle, so we did not make a purchase that day but that was not in Paul's hands. In the future if we do decide to purchase from Five Star, we would definitely work with Paul again.

have tried several times to book an appointment online, keep getting re-directed. I was hoping to make this my new home dealer since they are closer than North Central Ford, but North Central has always been easy to book an appointment on-line, unfortunately that's not the case here.

The service director responded, was extremely helpful and it turns out they are going through some "growing pains" since this location just opened. They took a genuine concern in the issues I had on-line, we walked through the issues, and they have me booked for an appointment Saturday.

I m not a huge outstanding vocal person on reviews, but after seeing this slew of obviously fake negative reviews to this business, I feel obligated to put mine in now. I have personally bought at least 5 cars from this dealership in just the last couple years. They are ALL WEARING MASKS and there is exceptional hygiene. And they have a dedicated cleaning staff on sight constantly. The showroom and service area is immaculate. I m there often with as many vehicles that I have for service and I can personally say that sales and service have outstanding concern for customers safety, as well as service and helpfulness whether I m purchasing a new car or getting one of my vehicles serviced! Every time I come in for service they always wash it for me and it comes out cleaner then I left it. If there was 10 stars I would give this dealership 10 STARS. And I ll be back to buy my next vehicle soon whether it be preowned or brand new.

I just bought a 2020 Explorer from Five Star Ford and my experience with them has been wonderful. I'd been in about 10 months ago and worked with Yama on pricing but wasn't ready yet to purchase. I came back and asked to work with Yama again, as he was wonderful to work with. No drama, no problems. He was able to get me into the vehicle I wanted at a price I could afford in a relatively short time frame. Their finance guy, Nick, was just as easy to work with and we got through the paperwork quickly. Overall, this has truly been a Five Star experience and I absolutely love my new Explorer!

I have had a hiccup with my backup camera, but Ben Taff in service was very understanding. Seems like the Ford plant made a batch of defective backup cameras and I just happen to get one of them. He ordered the part for me and will let me know when it comes in.

I had a poor experience here. Did not buy the car and left.
1. Interest Rate: Never told me what interest rate would be. Yet kept on talking about monthly payments. I even asked what rate he was offering when he quoted me payment amount. That is a UDAAP violation.
2. Car: Salesman tried to convince me that a 2 year old loaner was actually a brand new car that was never used. The 800+ miles showing on the odometer came as a result of test driving!!! That is deceptive.
3. Service: i made a low offer on the car to see what i can get. Both the sales person and the manager took it as a personal insult and pretty much walked away.

First I wanted to say, I ve been in the car dealership world/environment for going on 9 years of my life, but have only purchased 2 cars in that time. However, I have witnessed and experienced with, over 6000+ clients that have bought a car. Five Star Ford in Dallas is a great one. To say there is a difference in being treated like family and being taken care of like family, is an understatement. They made any and all accommodations for me, the buyer, that traveled 5 hours to buy a car. And I can t say Thank You enough to Audri, and especially Dave in finance. Trust me, I was guarded coming into a new dealership that was not my own job, after hearing about horror stories from clients at my job about their Past experiences, but Five Star Dallas is not one of those type of stores. They beat my Federal Credit Union finance rate, and without any negotiations, gave me an amazing price on my dream car. Thank you Five Star Ford!!!!

I have been in the process of shopping for my new F-150 for a few months now. I was pretty set on exactly what I wanted, and the discounts that were applied did not leave a ton of room for negotiation.
What my purchase ultimately came down to was the level of service that I was provided. Being a long time sales manager myself, I take customer experience very seriously. One of the dealerships that I was working with lost my business completely by not respecting my time, and ultimately providing what I would call a terrible experience.
From the moment I began working with Pete Restivo, I knew that I wanted to make my purchase with him, and do business with Five Star Ford. Each time I stopped by, I was treated well by everyone that I interacted with, my time was considered, I never felt pushed to make the purchase, only supported in getting all the facts to make the decision.
I do not leave a lot of reviews, and take it seriously when I do and I would absolutely recommend Pete Restivo and Five Star Ford to anyone interested in checking out a new Ford.

I have never ever had such a pleasant down home, professional experience while shopping for a new truck. I mean everyone from my salesman to the finance manager were the best. These people are the kind of folks i would stop by , just to say hi and visit. If you want a truck or car buying experience like you will never forget, then add this to your bucket list. This has been the worst car experience of my life....

This has been the worst car experience of my life. I bought a car on the 19th of Sept and on the 22nd i had to return the vehicle. They kept it for over a week before letting me know that it had a failed transmission and would cost over $3000 to fix after driving it for 3 days. They gave me a loaner while they tried to find another SUV like i had. They could not. I WAS ASKED to come in and trade for a equinox which had 120K MILES way more mile than the orginal car i purchased had. I said no. And was told to either get this car (not SUV) or give him back the keys to the loaner refund my money and fo somewhere else "BECAUSE I WAS BEING DIFFICULT" when all i wanted was a SUV when they already had my money. My options were to figure out how to get back to work (uber) since i came on my lunch break or get the car. Thrn after i tell him i don't like the car he gets mad and gets an attitude. So ended up having to buy a car i did not want because he threatened to leave me stranded at the dealership. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. ROD and David were nice other than that will be reporting to BBB. After all this i ended up with a 7 year old car.

At 4:00 pm on New Year's Eve my car fan that cools the engine would not shut off...I drove to Five Star Ford at George W Bush and Independence....they took me right in ...gave me a loaner car and I was on my way home by 5:30 pm....I am eternally grateful to have had a car to get to work on Friday and Saturday....Marc Anthony texted me to let me know the status of my vehicle and on Saturday called to say what the damage was and when it would be ready...besides the BILL I had a wonderful experience with the service....and have had ever since I purchased my vehicle in 2018...

We ve used this dealership for a very long time. We ve bought our last two vehicles here and had a pleasant experience both times. I had to take my Explorer in for a service that involved a cleaning. I m also incredibly pregnant and have been loosing items left right and sideways. I get the car back. They found my second pair of car keys and my mini bottle of sanitizer and they were sitting in the cup holder. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for the service department and the team that runs this location. Absolutely phenomenal people.

Wasn't a great experience at all! I was interested in a truck that was advertised. Contacted dealership and Winton went out and made a fast video that he kindly emailed to us. They pulled our credit rating (which is excellent) and then called back to say the truck was sold! In pulling our credit score they negatively affected our score so now when we go to look for another vehicle that will show up! They are unorganized and would not recommend dealing with their internet sales team.

I wanted to leave a review for Sam Hall who helped us tremendously as my husband and I went through the process of finding a good fit for my husbands work vehicle. Upon meeting him in the parking lot he informed us that he wasn't the typical car salesman and he was totally correct! He gave us tons of good information on making the right decision and presented a lot of possibilities. Worst customer service experience i have ever witnessed in my life. How can you have a customers car for a week & no one calls to give status. No called to any updates Nothing said no call backs. Believe me i know customer service been in it for 20+yrs. Guess they got their $2194.39 for 2nd time this year. Called at 3pm 12/10/2020 still no call back or status call.

This dealership has a very large inventory for you to see and choose from. The owner Sam Pack is as good of a person as you ll ever meet. He is as upstanding and respectable of a person as there is anywhere in the world. Sam is a staple in the North Texas community. If you are going to buy a vehicle there is NO better person to support than Sam Pack and his family. The New vehicle director that I dealt with is Mr. Rene Galvan. The sales people were Mr. Joel Svidlow and Mr. Kim Thomas. They were very helpful as we walked the lot allowing me to educate myself with my own eyes as well as with their direction and information. Lupita Nunez assisted me with any extras I wanted for my truck and accommodated the situation professionally. The Final act of the purchase was the finance manager Fred Smith. Fred is an exceptional person. He has a natural ability to connect with people. He is very informative and a pleasure to visit with. Fred is a person that will be successful in everything he does and the Pack family are fortune at to have him. Be sure to asked for him as your finance person. In the service dept all of the folks are great but be sure to ask for Ben, Barry and the Manager Keith if they are available. To share a little I have bought a number of vehicles over the years.

When arriving to the Dallas/Fort worth area I became interested replacing my daily driver. I have had some good and some not so good purchase experiences.

So I decided to visit several dealerships in the area, one of these was Five Star Ford Dallas. I spoke with a number of the staff all of them professional.

One of the staff I got to know was Joey O'Conner he was extremely knowledgeable of all vehicles but specializes in ROUSH and SHELBY brands. I at first did not think that I could afford to get into either of these brands. Mr. O'Conner was encouraging to see what he could come up with. I came in over several months and one day he told me that a ROUSH Stage 3 arrived. We made the deal that I didn't think was possible under my personal circumstances. Joey O'Conner is not just there for you during the sale but there for you after the sale. I have had several questions after the sale and he has overwhelming interest to address all the questions.

I went in for my quarterly Auto Butler Detail Service and an oil change. I know that the Auto Butler detailing is done by a separate company so this review is really for them. There was absolutely no detailing done. My car is dusty inside, the windows have spots on it and none of the surfaces were touched. I'm very disappointed in this service but I was also very tired at this point so I didn't say anything. On the other hand my service advisor for the oil change portion was really nice and I really liked her so I'm sorry she has to take the brunt of this review.

The entire process was absolutely superb, I was able to do all the preliminary car shopping details electronically by emails, phone calls and text, I narrowed down my selections of 3 different vehicles, negotiated prices on all 3 out the door , then made an appointment to meet with salesman and see cars in persons, with test drives to make my final decision!
The dealership has a broad selection , with super friendly staff, who all behaved polite, professional and courteous !
I highly recommend this dealership, I drove 127 miles one way to buy a vehicle from them and get a good deal.
So do your research, decide the car your interested in, model, options, price and color , negotiate prices, get pre approved financing, make your appointment! Buy the vehicle, It s just that easy!
I had never been been to this dealership before, I will definitely be Back.

Also be realistic when buying a vehicle, it s not the dealerships fault if you don t know how to buy a car or if your not a qualifying buyer! There s plenty of information on the internet that tells you how best to do vehicle shopping!
