When other companies told me No , Five Star went the extra mile to get the deal done.
Definitely buying more vehicles from them in the future.

The service department left my car in pieces when ...

The service department left my car in pieces when I came home from a battery install. The air filter housing was left off and the engine had zero filtering process for the air. There were hoses and electronics pulled out from the housing and all over the place unplugged. All I asked for was a battery change and my whole engine compartment was pulled out and left that way. The engine could have caught fore from the wires and air housing lying on the exhaust manifold. I paid nearly 400 hundred dollars for a battery and install. The most I ever paid and then they messed up my engine compartment taking it all apart and leaving it that way. There is no reason to tear apart my car and leave it that way. They want return service and Veteran abuse to charge me for a new engine, air housing, and wire harness from the damages they caused to my Lincoln MKS. I don't trust the service department here and the service manager texted me saying how his job was in my car. I told him you owe me an oil change at the very least due to the dirty engine left without and air filter. I told him it's clear by opening up the hood that the air housing is off and wires just dangling around unhooked. I have not heard from the service manager and left a message too. Please watch what the technicians do here or you may be liable for buying a new engine, having a fire start in the engine well, and possibly an accident from vacuum hoses pulled from the brake lines. They set me up bad here. As a previous oil driller, I fired people for less than this safety issue and engine purposefully killed off from lack of understanding how to change a battery is bad, way bad. This 400 dollar battery may cost me my living job, fire with two babies in my car, or worse an accident from brake system failure. I was wonder why my car felt like someone punched it in the gut after I left. I didn't know it could catch on fire and my brakes didn't work much going back home. All this from a simple battery change that took all day to complete. I don't trust this place and check your work done before leaving here. See if the car is okay and safe to drive before leaving here or may catch on fire. I had to replace wires burnt, and hoses. Fifty dollars extra and done the work myself this time. They even pulled the air filter for my AC and inserted backward which hurts the blower motor. I think they tried to lemon my car to charge me extra money for repairs from their damage to my car. I had a nice shirt on, slacks, and I think they saw and $ cash walk-in they thought to rip me off from return services from their damages to my car.

Just had an in warranty repair done to my 2017 F-150 and the experience was just as awesome as all of my prior experiences with Five Star Ford of Dallas. They offered my a loaner truck at no cost to me cause the repair was going to take a few days. The repair was completed when they said it would be and the Service Writer, Marc kept me well informed as to the status, etc. I have never had a bad or negative experience here, it's a great place to buy a car but also to have it serviced. Thanks Marc, thanks Five Star Ford!

On November 2019 I bought the 2017 Ford Escape and I brought for service this past September because it lost power, a few days after I dropped it off I get a phone call and I was told it needed it an engine, spoke to the in person that call me a day after a drop of the vehicle and ask me if I want it to update to a newer model. I was going to update but when I was waiting for a response for a trade in the manager on duty pretty much blame me for the blown engine on the 2017 Ford Escape. And I decided to take actions a different direction for being blame for a vehicle that was not what I was offered, also til this date the vehicle still and I hope is at the dealership.

Great work is hard to find. I have trusted them with my oil changes, brakes, adding fog lights, replacing my clutch, replacing my radiator and water pump. Manny (mechanic) pays close attention to detail, Keith overlooks everything and Ben who I ve worked with for over a year is really great to work with. I trust them with my 5.0 & look forward to continue trusting them in the future. Thanks again guys for your hard work, attention to detail & continuing to establish trust with my car that I worked really hard to get and consider my other child. Should have done more research on this dealership....

Should have done more research on this dealership. Bought a car from them 2 years ago. I was told it was a great, reliable car. I have been constantly having to do repairs on the vehicle the last year and a half. And now i'm stick because the cat isn't worth anything to trade in. Never experienced anything like this. So, disappointed i was basically sold a lemon in my opinion. I understand cars have issues and need repair at times. But, i drove the car 6 months and have had issues ever since. Mind you i've never driven it out of town. My school and work are both no more than 15 minutes from my house. So, buyer beware and have a thorough inspection before you decide to buy.

My F-150 was being brought in for a recall # 18S27. I requested that they look at all 12 recalls, while they have the truck. They said i would probably not get my truck back the same day, I responded that i was fine, lets get it all done while they have my truck. They did not look into the other 12 recalls, rushed through my truck and brought it back to me at 2PM in the afternoon. the truck had not been vacuumed, or cleaned at all. the service at this Ford dealership has gone down hill. Very disappointing

OK, part two of my rating. Five Star Ford, service manager called me back. He was very apologetic of the communication breakdown. He personally searched for all recalls for my F-150 , under the VIN # ,and made sure that any recalls, had been handled. Much appreciated. They also disinfected my vehicle before delivering it back to my home. Thank you

Bought my used car in August. Juan was my sales representative and he was amazing! Got me into the car I wanted with the right price. After couple months of driving car is running great. Highly recommend Five Star Ford to anyone and highly recommend working with Juan. He was non pushy and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want.

Buying a vehicle is always going to time consuming. However my new friends at 5 Star Ford in Plano Texas understood that my wife and I were not interested in spending our entire Saturday waiting at the dealership. Our experience was handled as fast as possible. In fact we could have been out earlier, but I am a talker. Go see my neighbors at 5 Star Plano. Ask for Kim. He knows how to take care of his customers. Nice large and super clean dealership. Nice folks.

I showed him the receipts from another shop. Randy said I needed the services done since they had not been done at ford. I will not use him for any future repairs at this location.

UPDATE: This deal turned into a nightmare. After putting $2000 down and $2200 in trade in equity for the Audi I purchased, within a month the AC system completely failed. Took it for repairs with the warranty I purchased, I was told that there was $7500 worth of issues with the vehicle (almost half of the sales price!) and that none of them were going to be covered by the warranty. I was told to bring it in and trade it out for something else, and after several hours and a day wait, I get told that I m order to trade it, I needed to come up with another $3500, to which I said no. They reduced that to $2000 and was told that it was either that, or take the original car back, WITHOUT repairs. I ended up paying the $2000 additional down, although I was told at one point that I would only need to pay $1000. I ended up with a better less expensive vehicle but still paid the extra $2000 and wasn t offered a warranty (I was told I couldn t get one). What still confuses me is how the original contract I paid for the new traded vehicle showed one sales price, yet the updated one after I was told I only had to pay the $1000 showed the sales price marked up another $1500?? How does a company operate like this when a customer does everything asked in good faith??

The whole building was very immaculate and clean. The young lady that assisted me with a loaner vehicle was Donna. She was awesome to deal with. My whole experience was top notch. My under engine cover came loose and got tear up badly, scheduled a service request. Went in and one of the service personnel, Marc Anthony, greet very pleasantly and confirm my appointment and issue. Marc did and over all inspection and said he ll will let the shop look at the issue and will update me. Within few hours Marc text me and let me know everything is taken care of and the truck is ready to pick up. Marc and the staff were awesome with customer service, I will continue buying new vehicles from 5 stars ford in Plano and will definitely recommend families and friends.

I had some ongoing issues with the auto start/stop feature on the 2017 Ford Escape for several months. After documenting the issues, the Five Star Ford of Plano took in the car to examine the issues thoroughly by keeping the vehicle for 10 days. Both Keith Drake and Jerry Thompson took real good care of the issues. Since picking up the vehicle, I have had not experienced any issues. Thank you for the hard work on resolving the issues. And thank you to Jerry for keeping me in the loop during the service.

We had the privilege to work with Joe Crawford over the weekend for our new truck! Not only do we appreciate everything about Five Star Ford Dallas but they also go above and beyond! They had a corn dog food truck, roasted corn, and funnel cakes for free and my kids loved it! Everyone was in masks and following Covid protocols. On top pf all this I was very low on gas in the car we were not trading in (I had zero miles left lol) and asked where the nearest gas station was. The gentleman, whose name I need to find out that was at the desk behind Joe's, said how about this I will take your car and out a few gallons in it here at the dealership to make sure you get to the gas station safely! My daughter's car battery light came on and we weren't quite sure what was going on. We called Five Star Ford Dallas (like we always do) and talked to our service advisor Mark Gray. He was able to get us in the next day and let us know within an hour what the problem was. They did a thorough inspection and found a few items, while relatively minor, that needed addressing. We went ahead and had them complete those items as well. All in all, a very smooth experience. Mark kept us informed all the way. Needless to say, we are very happy with our experience with Mark and the whole service team at Five Star Ford Dallas. They always take care of us and we will be back again and again for our future service needs. Oh, and we buy all of our cars there as well. Ask for Joey.

I dropped the Ford Explorer for Oil change. Randy from Ford was very professional and took the car for Oil Change and realized there is Transmission oil leak. He kept the car for further testing and maintenance and put me immediately in a loaner car until they fixed the leak. Great job Randy.

Drove from NC to Texas, had been looking for a certain car. All other dealerships never would follow up once they found out I lived states away, Nick was great he kept in contact and followed up with pictures and answers to my questions. He is why I bought the car.

Unfortunately I have to edit this review. After the sale they wash trier hands of you. After almost 2 months and countless phone calls, emails and text messages I finally received my plates.
they collected the fees for tags they could have been my advocate but that s when I really got ghosted.

I couldn t get anyone to call me back I had to keep calling I even wrote an email to the general manager with no response.

My service advisor Freddy handles my cars appointment. Although we had some hiccups through picking up the vehicle and a few communication issues. Freddy addressed everything and took care of me and went above and beyond. The dealership is not close to me. I am closer to two other Ford dealerships. I will continue to go back to Five Star Ford due to people like Freddy and his attention to detail and being able to take care of his customers.

Always so easy to get my truck serviced. They're very communicative throughout the process. My repair was going to take a few days and they offered a loaner truck. They ended up getting everything done at least a day earlier than they originally communicated.

5 * Ford Dallas is by far the BEST dealership in north Texas. There service department is stellar and above all other dealerships. I took my 2018 Focus in for its biannual paint butler application and when my service advisor drove it into the shop he noticed that my windshield fluid resevoir sensor wasnt working. He called me told me wasnt working and would like to fix it while car was already in shop. All was still under warranty and wasnt a big deal. But...how many dealerships service staff would have even noticed much less called customer for free repair. Probably none. So, once again..

This was my 2nd visit to Five Star Ford. Anthony took care of my 2014 F150 truck. The other dealership I've been going to always takes 2 hours to do an oil change, fluids check, and no tire rotation. I purchased a brand new 2020 Ford Explorer 2 months ago. The vehicle has 4,000 miles. It started making a grinding noise and not shifting properly. I live out of state, so I took it to a local dealer. I called this morning to speak to a manager at Five Star to explain the issues I was having with the car. The manager went on to tell me that they sell thousands of vehicles without issues and stated that when there is a problem it is an I or me deal, but the great thing is that all vehicles could be fixed. I was speechless!! Yes sir, it is an I or me situation and yes all vehicles can be fixed BUT one with less than 4,000 miles on it should not be in the shop!!!!! His lack of concern and way with words were less than 5 Star treatment!!!! My advice to anyone would be to look elsewhere! They may have 5 Star service when they are working to sell you the car, but clearly not the minute you leave the lot. Oh, did I mention my screen went out 4 times within the first week of purchasing the car!!! This time it is the transmission. I have not even had the first oil change, but on the upside as the manager so quickly let me know, All vehicles can be fixed!!
