From my initial visit with Dr. Trubow 1 year ago, I knew I was working with a physician who had the expertise and desire to get to the root cause of my health issues. Together, we created a strategy to correct the multiple problems and help me achieve optimal health. Dr Trubow was up front and transparent about the cost and timeframe- providing her recommendation but giving me options and choices so the plan worked for me. One year later, I have vastly improved both in terms of lab work, but more importantly, in terms of my vitality, energy, and focus. I am so excited for the future and returning to my, "new and improved," self! I owe my well-being, and literally my life, to Dr. Trubow.

If you're looking for an alternative to mainstream medicine, these are great practitioners who provide personalized care.

I have been seeing Dr Trubow for almost 2 years and she is a wonderful doctor. She always takes the time to listen and to find a path that is right for me, not just medically, but also philosophically. Her approach is holistic and natural. I recommend her to all my female friends!

I have been going to Dr. Levitan since 2006 and he is the best. He takes time and is never in a hurry. I trust him wholeheartedly and would recommend anybody to him.

Never again. Stay far away. They run up your insurance company by testing for every blood test imagineable then they decline to see you as a patient. Read their reviews from their previous location at Visions In Dedham Ma. They went Bancrupt.

Awesome practice! The marketing material is SO atheistically pleasing and well done, even when I'm not at the office, my life is enriched by their knowledge via Instagram!!

It's a dream to be part of a practice that shares my health values. We were considering moving outside the area and my immediate thought was "how could we possibly find a new medical practice as great as Five Journeys?" My entire family goes to FJ, and I particularly appreciate the care my two year old receives. It's truly a holistic practice.

The doctors were helpful but be very careful that they will charge a monthly fee even after all the appointments were finished. We were charged $65 a month for several months afterwards without any notification. We weren't aware of the charges. When we finally went back to ask them for refund, they weren't willing to negotiate. That is not a good way to do business.

Dr. Levitan and his staff at Five Journey's have had a critical role in my recovery from late stage Lyme Disease and numerous other co-infections.

After years of being bed-ridden with serious physical and cognitive debilitation I am thankfully nearing a complete recovery thanks to the guidance and care from Dr. Levitan and his team.

Dr. Levitan tirelessly advocates a comprehensive lifestyle approach to health that best provides a strong foundation for recovery. It is this approach that I credit with allowing for such an improbable turn-around in health.

I would highly recommend Five Journey's for anyone that is serious about their health or anyone that has been left frustrated by a mainstream medical approach.

I went to 5 Journeys seeking help when conventional medicine had let me down. Issue with my gastro (gut) were causing me pain, and clogging up my brain. After several meetings with Dr. Levitan and Meg, the incredible nutritionist, I have been feeling much better. Over the past 4-5 months I have lost 15 pounds, greatly improved my eating habits (quality and quantity), and feel much lighter both in body and spirit. My issues are nearly gone, and I'm grateful. And I don't want to forget the always cheerful, helpful, and caring ladies who work at the front desk. They make the visit really positive each and every time.

I am a very satisfied and grateful patient at 5 Journeys. I loved Visions HealthCare and was very sad when it closed. Now, at Five Journeys, I receive consistently excellent and friendly care from Drs Levitan and Trubow and from the wonderful office staff. Two of of my close friends are also very happy patients at Five Journeys.

I asked if they provided services that were non-membership based, which based on the FAQ section of their website they do offer some. Her response was "you already know it's membership based. you asked someone and that's why you're talking to me. right? so you know it's membership based" ... nah but i do know you're rude

Highly recommend Dr. Levitan and the entire Five Journeys team - they truly care about each and every patient and helping them to get better. This practice is a true God-send.

This is the first Christmas in years that I am well enough to look forward to, instead of dreading it because of my health. I have been sick with Lyme Disease for 12 years, and have had an up and down recovery. But when I started coming to see Dr. Levitan, things changed. He also realized that there were other things wrong and has helped me like no other doctor has. He is kind and caring and very knowledgeable. The staff is wonderful. I enjoy talking with them on every visit. They make me feel special. If you have Lyme or are just trying to figure out what is making you feel sick, this practice is for you.

As someone already mentioned in a post below- 5 stars is not nearly enough praise to give a fantastic, honest doctor who diagnosed me correctly for the first time in over 25 years! To compare, I had seen over 20 doctors before Dr. Levitan throughout my lifetime and most Primary Care Doctors and Gastroentorologists simply will not look for root causes but instead try to prescribe you some drug to hide your symptoms and this is VERY WRONG! Dr. Levitan is completely different- at my first appointment, as soon as I described my symptoms, not only did he know exactly which possibilities to test for right away(mercury and mold) but he was absolutely correct as both those results came back positive a few weeks later. Within a week of the results coming back, he was ready with a comprehensive detox/healing plan and gave me several options of treatment to decide between. I'm currently going through the treatment and for the first time in my life since my childhood have complete trust in a doctor again! With his complete transparency and incredible efficiency he was able to restore that very important patient/doctor bond for me which had been broken so many years ago. Furthermore, even though Dr. Levitan is very busy he will gladly answer any questions you may have and sometimes even call you to explain those answers in a more personal manner. The bottomline is this guy truly cares about his patients and goes far beyond when it comes to treating them than any doctor I've ever seen or heard about. I've recommended Dr. Levitan to all my family and friends and will continue recommending him to anyone who wants to get their health back! My advice is don't wait to get your health back but instead go see Dr. Levitan- who's had some of the best/most cutting edge training in the world while working at Mark Hyman's(Bill Clinton's Personal Doctor) UltraWellness Center!

My 4 year old son suffered with digestive issues, food sensitivities, and sensory processing disorder. It was so sad to watch him suffer with being sick and and always anxious. I was determined to heal him naturally and was recommended Five Journeys by a close friend. So very fortunate for Dr. Levitan and his friendly staff!! They are AMAZING and we enjoy working with them. My son has made huge progress and doing well. We will continue our care for him here in the future.

I love 5 Journeys, long time supporters of the owners and believe that the type of health and wellness care they're delivering is life changing. Especially for those who need it most. They approach all aspects of balance, including your physical/structural health, emotional, social, sense of purpose (what drives and motivates you), chemical (nutrients, vitamins etc.,) and then help you understand what plans need to be in place to impact change. It's a true partnership with you at the center.

I have been going to Five Journeys since the beginning of 2018. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in Mid-2017 and after using conventional treatment I wasn't finding any relief for my mental and physical issues. After researching for other alternatives I found 5 Journeys. Gail is whom I spoke with in the beginning and she gave me all the information necessary about the place and its services. Since my insurance did not cover my care at Five Journeys, Gail was so throughout explaining my out of the pocket costs in detail. Kudos to Gail for being transparent and making a great first impression!
My initial session was with Dr. Levitan, and for the fist time in years I actually felt like someone truly wanted to hear about my concerns. Dr. Levitan took the time to get to know me, listen to me and make recommendations accordingly.
In addition to Dr. Levitan, I also see Meg, their nutritionist. She's absolutely amazing! Meg is super knowledgeable and has helped me change my diet and approach to dealing with Celiac and anxiety.
My experience at 5 Journeys has been nothing short of amazing and I truly believe on their approach in helping their patients.

If you have dealt with a chronic or persistent illness, you likely know the difficulties of getting proper care or treatment. Feeling confident and comfortable are not familiar feelings. When I first walked into Five Journeys, I did feel immediately comfortable and knew, after seeing nearly a dozen other doctors, that I had finally found the right place and there was hope that I would get better.
I believe that when traditional medicine is combined with functional medicine, the result is better quality care for patients. That s what you get at Five Journeys.

The staff are wonderful people who are invested in you getting better, and the doctors are extremely knowledgeable and understanding. I personally have seen Dr. Levitan; I came to Five Journeys after feeling ill for 12 months, and thanks to the work they do here I continue to get better. Dr. Levitan is on the cutting edge of medicine and the man truly knows what he is doing.
Five Journeys is not for everyone. If you are unwilling to invest in improving your health, well-being and overall life, and unwilling to make some necessary changes, find somewhere else. If you are willing and open-minded, I believe you ll grow to love this practice as much as I do.

With the help of nutritional counseling, supplements, Dr. Levitan's monitoring and testing, I am in full remission from a very serious bout of digestive malfunction. With their protocols, my weight is stable, my system is working optimally, I feel strong and healthy. As an added bonus in creating a cohesive team, Dr. Levitan's notes and test results are shared with my Gastroenterologist and my primary care physician at MGH. I am extremely grateful for Five Journey in helping me reach this miraculous recovery.
