I love this place. The menu options are limited, but Agave is good at what it does: burgers, tacos, cheese curds, etc. They have great drinks too. The biggest downside is the cost and the space.

Burgers are around $13 with some add on options available. They have a gluten free bun for an extra $1.

Agave is a cozy place with seating on the first floor where there is also a bar, a few two-person tables on the second floor where the kitchen is, and then a space upstairs that they call the bullpen. I haven't been up there yet.

There can be a wait time if you go during peak hours. We went last Saturday and had to wait about 10 minutes to get a table. Not bad in my opinion.

All in all, this is a nice place that I highly recommend. Just plan to spend around $15/person for dinner and more if you go for drinks.

Been past here lots of times but never stopped before today. It s a fun place. Kind of small but everything here tends to be. 8 seats at the bar and 3 levels of seating. Food was good. Lots of variety. I live north of here by about 20 miles. I don t think I d make a trip just to come here but if I was in town I d definitely stop again.

Yum

Love everything about this place. Delicious food served late into the night. The nachos are always a good choice, but really you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff are friendly and accommodating. This is a nice place to go on a date or grab a drink with a friend. The top floor has a more bar type atmosphere with games and darts.

Favorite restaurant! I've made trips here before work to pick up the pork nachos to-go because they're that good. This place has the best drinks(came here for my 21st)! The chimichanga, PB&J burger, redneck burger, pork nachos and Nola fries are just a few of my favorites here. Bartenders and wait staff are always phenomenal. The restaurants 3rd floor is full of TV's and a separate bar and a nice view of Hudson. I will review this place on every social media site because I really love it that much. See ya tomorrow! We were very impressed with the food here! We were just passing through, and it popped up as a popular spot! The Nola fries and tacos were amazing, and nobody left hungry! The service was fast, and the drinks were delicious!

Drove over an hour to try this place because we heard good things about it and boy we weren t disappointed! Service was good. The restaurant is pretty sweet with the different levels. We got the agave Twinkie and that was bomb. Was probably top 3 burger I ve ever had and the fries were great. My girlfriend thought her meal was excellent to. Will be back.

Have known Paul for years, and aside from the great food, he gives back to the community more than most business owners. Thanks for contributing to what makes Hudson great (and for the great meals!)

The service was excellent and the food was great! Highly recommend their nachos for an app. It's also kid friendly. All dishes are fairly large portions. We will definitely be coming back!

Had the pulled pork sandwich and it melted in my mouth and the juices ran down my hand! Incredible service and superb food! Tried my wife's pork street taco and it was moist and very flavorful as well! Don't walk past this place, make sure to stop in and fill your belly...

Went for happy hour tacos and margaritas, yummm!! They were huge! First time coming here and prices were very generous for quality and amount of food you get. And the service is phenomenal! I will definitely be recommending this to family and friends. We will be back soon for sure!!

Good food, good beer selection, and a fun atmosphere. More expensive than Applebee's, cheaper than Olive Garden. Lots of other bars around if you're into bar hopping. Good place for a first date, party, or regular hangout. Can get a little crowded in the evenings.

Prior to our trip to Hudson, we researched many restaurants and found this place. We stopped in on September 27th for Dinner and left thinking we would have been more comfortable somewhere else. Let me give you the pros and cons.

PROS: The food was delicious and portions generous. We ordered a half order of the Nachos as our appetizer because we had heard they were bountiful and they were. We also planned on sharing an entree and so ordered the Fish Tacos as well as two Agave Margaritas. The food was delicious and the Margarita was unique and delicious.

CONS: I had read a review prior to our visit that was posted four months ago and the gentleman had criticized the table he was seated at - A two seater hi top near the restrooms. The owner stated in his response that he would address this. I had no fear of my wife and I getting the dreaded restroom table because I figured with all the comments about what a great guy the owner is that it would have indeed been addressed. It hadn't been and lo and behold that was where my wife and I were seated. It was a Friday night and they were quite busy and we are not the type to speak up in a situation like that because we know the servers are busy enough. I understand in the restaurant business real estate is everything, but it is a table that should be eliminated. We decided to make the best of it and so while enjoying our Nachos we discussed the idea that there would be no way they would be so non-sensical as to bring our entree before we finished the appetizer because there would simply be no room for it. Sure enough, half way through our Nachos the entree shows up. It was placed on the edge of the table for us partially hanging off the edge and the server asked ''is there anything else I can get you?'' I half-heartedly said ''more space?'' her response was to shove the remainder of the plate further onto the table forcing our appetizer and drinks against the wall. WOW. We found ourselves kinda stressed and rushed through our evening out, leaving much of the food on the table, just to get out of the uncomfortableness.

With what looks to be so many great dining options in Downtown Hudson, we will likely not return.

10/10 everyone in the area needs to stop at least twice. If you haven't tried it and see this, stop. Just come in. I got the steenburger.. I didn't put it down once!! I should have gotten a picture but once I took a bite it was game over. Amazing flavor in every single bite. My wife and I will be back! Many times..

The food is fine, and I ve enjoyed just about everything I ve eaten there, but nothing really sticks in my memory as amazing. Typical bar food of nachos, burgers, and sandwiches, but nothing outstanding. Based on food alone, I d give 4 stars, but attitude gets it knocked down to 3.
Every time I ve been to Agave I have been seated in the bar on the top floor. Whether out with friends, bringing the family (Including grandparents and little kids) out to eat, or stopping in for nachos after a disappointing football game, we end up at the top, where it seems like service standards are lowered. I feel like the wait staff up there is bothered to bring us anything more than drinks, and half the time they d prefer if I order those from the bartender.
The atmosphere of Agave is very laid back, and I m not so snobby that I need perfect service, but if I go back I d like to be treated as if my money mattered.

Late night food is good to have, ordered the shrimp taco's the would have been great but they put some sort of Mayo based sauce on them... Places need to realize if you have good food your don't to dress it up with crappy sauces.
