Great place to work out. Friendly staff. Clean equipment

If you're looking for the place that you see and hear in the commercials...this is the exact opposite. There's 40 treadmills, but good luck finding one open between the hours of 430-9pm; the number of "lunks" outnumber any others; I purchased a membership for my girlfriend and a trainer....that's the TRAINER...stopped while giving a tour to just stare at her on a machine - she asked him if she could help him and he replied with "..oh I'll just wait.." a person on the tour even suggested she had an audience - made her feel really uncomfortable. The 30 minute express workout is really nice - just kidding because no one uses it correctly (so you can't) and the staff don't really care. Just my experience is all - I'm out as soon as my year is up.

I realize the gym is under construction. But there is no excise for filth in the locker rooms. Dirt all over. In the lockers on the floor, no benches. No body wants to put their street clothes in a filthy locker. Some body needs to be stationed in locker rooms to kept them clean while under construction. Your spending money to remodel, you need to spend some on staff while the work is going on to keep it clean or close until it s complete. It s a shame! Very disappointing.

Absolutely Love the Gym, the cost, and the selection of equipment. The reason for the 3-star rating is the utter and complete lack of the staff managing the 30 minute workout room. It is a fantastic concept but far too many gym members treat it like their own personal workout room. They wander from machine to machine with absolutely no regard for folks who are trying to utilize the room as it was designed (In other words, folks who are following the rules). There needs to be more, and better Signage in that room, and consistent policing of the room by the management & staff. I enjoy coming for a workout but I do not look forward to engaging in an argument with someone (who seems oblivious to the rules) every time I want to use the 30 minute workout room.

Decent size, a little crowded, but there's plenty of equipment. No squat rack or barbells, only Smith machines

I love it here. I got the $22 a month package (because it offers free guest privileges) and it's still cheaper than my other gym. It's open 24/7 which is a godsend. I have gone at 6 am when there are no people (which is great) but even when it's more crowded there is always enough room. There are tons of weight machines and cardio machines so that is never a problem. Sometimes the free weights get tied up but it's not usually a problem. They only have Smith machines for bench and squat but I love it because I go by myself and I don't need a spotter. Haven't tried out anything but the treadmill and all the weight equipment but those are all great.

Best bang for ur buck. All you need is self motivation.

I love this PF! Great customer service, everyone is friendly, and it's cheap and 24 hours, all you can hope for in a gym. Samantha is really sweet and helpful!

Definitely the most modern gym out of the other planet Fitness'

It could definitely use a good cleaning. I opened a locker the other day and found clumps of hair in it. The garbage is typically overflowing. Most of the showers are broken. It's hard to find a treadmill until after 7:30pm. I didn't get a tour during my first visit and I did not receive the free tshirt. I go there out of convenience since it's so close to my house but I am thinking of taking the longer drive to use the Pittston location which is cleaner.

Love the Kingston Pa location. They recently expanded so there are tons of equipment. Love tanning and hydromassage.

Love the 24 hour open times. Great updated equipment. Black card membership is awesome and well worth only 20 dollars a month

Best place around here. You go and do your business and nobody is looking or caring.

I like this gym. But I m not understanding Why it s saying they are open if they are not. I m ready to get back to working out!! I think this may be the only gym still not open

I really like PF. I know they have trainers and classes, but I wish they had a weigh in meeting/class. Something where people could share weight loss plans and talk nutrition. I know I do much better when I am held accountable. Knowing you have to weigh in with other people keeps you on track. You can also motivate each other.

Good location, normally busy. Called ahead for some information, got conflicting information from employees. Was mildly annoyed but overall a solid planet fitness

Planet Fitness sucks, my contract was supposed too end last April but they told me the only way it would end is i decided too cancel it, Is by paying $50.00 that wasn't part of the contract when I signed up. So now since I moved to Ohio I just can't cancel it anywhere I have to go to the main fitness place that I signed up at, so not only that I have to pay $50 i been paying for last 4 months and i haven't been it too it for awhile. Planet Fitness your a rip off not only that but you lie too your customers. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! And if you say it was in the contract it was pretty sneaky to add that into there without telling the customer that's bad business, but thats not what your employee told me or my fiance. Btw i never gotten my tshirt. Never going back!

Cannot beat this gym for the price of the membership. This location is even better after the remodel it had a few years ago.

Needa more machines and better equipment! Pretty decent place and clean...just needs to be a little more intimate

Planet Fitness is a total joke plain and simple. First off let me point out the obvious hypocritical statement "Judgement free zone" that's a total lie considering the "lunk alarm" that goes off if you accidentally drop a weight. Planet Fitness is just a horrible execuse for a gym, what kind of gym offers horrible foods that only slow your progress from Losing weight, building muscle, or just trying to better yourself in general.Their dress code restrictions are ridiculous and you literally get thrown out for "looking intimidating" basically if you have a ripped body or good muscle tone. I'd advise you to seek out other gyms besides PF. Planet Fitness I'd highly advise you to rethink your statement "Judgement free zone" cause your slogan is filled with hypocrisy

While there are only 4 smith machines to bench press with, the option to run on a treadmill is almost always available with how many there are. And let's be real, it's better to work out your heart than your chest muscles ya silly goose.

This really is the perfect gym. I only go as a guest but my wife loves her full access membership. There is everything you need and want

The gym itself is OK, equipment is in good shape & except for peak times there are usually enough machines, they just went through a remodel. People who complain about their ETFs should use it as a lesson to take the 90 seconds required to read a one page contract before signing it.

I live in Florida but I'll be up here working for 5 weeks so I'm going to have to check out this planet Fitness since I'm already a black card member. I'll update soon

Too crowded. Plus, this is certainly not a "judgement-free zone". Any time I am doing serious fitness exercises, people are always staring at me. Who goes to a gym just to look at people? Very creepy!

All of the promotions are a joke! My daughter is home from college and over paid to join (for free ...not) then over billed monthly and to top it off when her work and school schedule changed they charged her $50 to cancel (......cancel anytime...., Not) Very bad service !

Great Job Planet Fitness your bait and switch advertising it works well I just paid you $116.00 to get my 17yr old and 16 yr old daughters out of there contract. "no commitment" yeah right. Well you taught them a valuable lesson read the fine print and believe no one especially Planet Fitness.

I enjoy coming here everyone is pretty friendly, the gym is well kept and clean, I got my session with the personal trainer Danny; to see what that would be like, he was very helpful and I recommend this gym.

Ah yes 5/5. You can get an app which tells you how busy the place is which I have found quite convenient. There's a quick 30 minute workout room which has pretty much everything you need.

Always great and never feel pressured or out of place. They are always welcoming and help with any questions. I always get a great workout and a massage and leave feeling energized.

They had a referral promotion and I'm paying $5 a month plus $39 yearly fee, which still comes out to just $8.25 a month. You really can't beat that price anywhere. The only issue I have is the way to clean the equipment. I've been to other planet fitness where they use small towels to clean equipment, instead of paper towels. They just don't do the job very well and not as effective and efficient as reusable towels. I hope they can change that soon.

Always nice people non judgemental friendly staff. All different types of equipment shower and tanning are available its open 24 hours .they even have a pizza day .love this place would highly recommend you cannot beat the price anywhere! And they are constantly updating new equipment you can't get that anywhere in the Vally?!

Though I prefer to go around 12am-ish I still love it! That time there is really noone there. Last time went around 10pm completely packed! I suggest if you don't like working out around alot of people wait the few extra hours and go then! I promise it's 1,000 times better! Haha

Cheap to join all gyms in US included if you buy the black membership I go when I'm home or in Florida

They make you jump through hoops to cancel your membership. I was pregnant and on bed rest for.months and they wouldnt cancel or put my account on hold unless I came in and signed paperwork..told them I couldnt and they said oh well so I had to pay my fees for 6 months that I wasn't using it! Ridiculous..

I Love Planet Fitness, the employees are very friendly. Everyone is welcome! I'm heavy and I fit right in. You workout at your own pace and they have a lot of equipment to choose from and you can go from one piece of equipment to the next one. They also have a variety of weights to choose from or go down the row and try them all out.

My favorite non-judgemental gym. Relaxed atmosphere and plenty of perks. A lot of bang for the buck.

Nice remodel, cant beat price and not bad parking. Bathrooms are hit or miss but staff seems to try and keep up with them. Equipment great and it's a nice planet fitness.

Renovated not too long ago and now offer more for the guest.
