I have had a terrible experience with first service residential. We have had two robberies in our building at 11 Superior and little was done to resolve the issue. Not only that, but the property managers have been absent (at best) and frankly very rude. Recently, I had a $500.00 dollar security deposit taken from our building for use of the "shared common space". There was no justification and even less communication from management. I guess they think $500.00 is chump change?! This was done after no damage was done to the building! I am extremely disappointed and thankful to be renting. At this point, all my experiences have completely lacked transparency and lacked any shred of ethical integrity. If I ever encountered a rental unit with this company as the managers, I would steer way clear. I literally do not have a single good thing to say about this company at this point and would strongly advise that you do not move in to a building if this company has taken over. I wish that they would advocate for their residents, who are being bullied by the board. I would love to share a different review but this is just my experience.

After more than ONE MONTH without heat, during the coldest time property manager KAZEM told us it would be warm ( this is lie we got warmer only this week) at the first time. later, he provide us a heater and sent us email emphasis that heater he provide us will cost less electric, but when we received the bill from last month which we use the heater, it cost us DOUBLE than before. Why he saying this will cost less if he did not say so we will maybe find other alternative method to keep warm. Also, recently is very hot, we want to change A/C and he said we need to wait until May 26. Why a luxury condo has such ridiculous property management? We pay such maintenance fee and the service was actually bad than apartment. ( At least the have heat during cold day.)

I've worked with First Service since they purchased the previous property management firm. I'm the President of our condo corp. First Service has been a first class operation. Over the last 10 years we've had a couple of manager changes. Our present manager is the best we've had. First Service has been very proactive in assisting with energy savings. Their advice on Managing through the Covid - 19 has been very helpful. A good company to consider if your considering changing your property managment company. Our condo has 301 units, with a mix of 20 Townhouses, 6 Work Live units and 275 condo units in two mid rise buildings located in North East Oakville
