Google, "Loblaw admits to bread price-fixing scheme spanning more than 14 years" Thanks Weston for ripping us off for more than 14 years even when you are one of the richest person in Canada. It really shows us how a person can have this much of greed even after having so much!
The only real reason to be displeased with the Weston white bread is its high sugar content. As for the brand and company, they have to hold their ground and progress on the market to stay competitive against big-name store chains. Always find what I want at Loblaws or at Shoppers Drug Mart, altough I think they could have more variety.

Galen Weston family is 3rd wealthiest family in Canada and they own a lot of chain stores Canada wide such as No Frills, Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Holt Renfrew. My Holt Renfrew gift card was duplicated and all my balance is gone. I had over a thousand dollars worth of money in it. I contacted Holt Renfrew. They just told me to contact the police. I found out their gift card can be duplicated with just a $50 card duplicator.
Crummy company. Too bureaucratic and terrible leadership. Buy from your local shops. Believe me they ll appreciate your business a lot more.
