I would never buy from Stauer again. I bought a whole bunch of jewelry from them over a couple of months..I had a couple of issues and was lied to. I ask them to let me hear the recording. They declined since they knew that they had lied to ME.. I will never trust them again for not being trustworthy. Not a good company to deal with

Their online prices are different from the catalog...

Their online prices are different from the catalog they mailed me, even after the Offer Code. So, I called in to see if i can order with the catalog's prices. First thing, they ask for my name. Second thing, they ask for my address. I was like, hold up, I'm not even buying anything yet, why are you asking for my personal information already. Then they said that they have to verify who are they speaking with, if I can't provide information, they won't be able to move forward. I said that I'm a first time customer, you have no information of me to "verify". Then they said I have to give them my information to move forward, that's policy. I wished him a good day and ended the call.
Not sure if it's a jewelry company or a "personal data" trader. Seriously, didnt even bother to ask me what I wanted to buy.

They make it needlessly difficult to deal with items that are gifts, because they won't tell you anything unless you are the account holder.

We were given a watch as a gift, and it was defective. Getting status updates on our exchange was a nightmare because they refused to speak to anyone who wasn't the account holder. They kept saying they need to speak to the person who paid for the item.

Apparently Stauer does not understand the concept of a gift. I should not have to tell the person who gave it to me that it was defective and I had to exchange it for another one just to get a status update on the RMA, and God forbid maybe a tracking number.

I ordered a beautiful necklace and earrings, which I am happy with. However, I will never order from them again: Reason: during my telephone order I was pressured into getting their platinum card for a hundred or so dollars OR paying almost $30.00 for postage for the small box it came in. I do not order that much jewelry so didn't need a platinum card that would have to renew every year. I expressed my displeasure to no avail, knowing that $30 ,,for that small box was a ripoff. No more for me. It is like blackmail. If I could hsve given this customer service a big fat 0, I would hsve.

I have been looking at some of the products from Stauer and working with Mark Moroney. Mark is great to work with. He taught me about watches and how accuracy is measured, but what stood out was learning about his jewelry and being entertained buy his humor and creativity at the same time. Thanks Mark

Why can't I just order an item as advertised for t...

Why can't I just order an item as advertised for the price advertised without being hoodwinked into some "platinum membership" racket. Now I have to wait year and be certain I cancel the membership or I'll be charged another $100 for a membership I don't want. All I wanted to do was buy a penant for my wife for our 40th Annervisity. See you next year and don't expect me to be ordering from you again.

My daughter worked there for a week and she quit on Thursday because the trainer called her a slave. That is very disrespectful and very unprofessional. My daughter is very sweet girl. She went home devastated that day. I think someone should do something about this.

Usually poor quality products.

Usually poor quality products.
Delays, broken items, misplaced items. Ive had many issues with this company although for whatever reason I still order.
