I have been banking for 40 years and I have never had the type of personal service received from First National Bank of South Miami. As the pandemic set in, FNBSM was there to help me get through the PPP loan process and we received our money within 24 hours. Fabulous experience with my officer Max Vazquez. He and the bank have gone out of the way to keep me safe by expanding my mobile access as well as to be sure that if I need to come into the bank, everyone is wearing masks and is socially distanced. Max is always accessible and returns my calls or emails within hours, if not minutes. I appreciate the accessibility of reaching a "real person"! Thank you .

I am the practice manager for a medical surgical facility and my experience of working with banking institutions has not necessarily been a good one, most of the time you just feel like account #11223344 and that is all. I had been a customer of one of the "major banks" for several decades. Over time, the level of service greatly deteriorated, the staff turned-over, - and I was getting more and more frustrated with the lack of attention and personal support regarding my banking needs. Also, I was supposedly a "gold" client, - meaning, I was supposed to be receiving a "concierge" level of service.
