From the moment we walked in, the folks at First Hyundai were welcoming and friendly. We've spent a lot of time searching for cars and were exhausted by our search. These folks were upfront, understanding, and went the extra mile to help us out. Marvin, Andre and Rod all worked hard to make things happen for us. They kept their professionalism even during tense negotiations. While the deal ultimately didn't work out on our end (we decided to wait), I would gladly walk into this dealership again, and refer friends and family, because of the excellent customer service and the high level of professionalism.
Buying a car is always a big headache for me. I ended up liking the first car I drove. Should have walked away for a couple of weeks to try to get a better deal. Unfortunately, I didn't walk and feel that I could have saved some money if I did. They did not budge on the price. Al'so, they should have been better prepared to tell me what to expect for buying a used car in Mass and being from RI. Things like taking a day off to get a VIN check. Remember to walk away that first time.
My last visit to First Hyundai was as always, a great experience! I was finished sooner than expected after my last service appointment, and everything was taken care of to my satisfaction!!

Absolutely horrible experience! Never buying a Hyundai again and never going to this dealership again. Brought my vehicle in for a recall, it sat there for almost 3 weeks untouched. I had to pay almost $400 in labor for A RECALL! Ridiculous! They removed my babies car seat and failed to mention it to me, or install it back in again. I went to drive home and couldn t because I had no seat for my baby! They returned my vehicle with the gas tank below empty. I had called Hyundai headquarters to get them to help me with my situation at this dealership and they were USELESS. Didn t even call me back! I wish I could rate with negative stars!

I cannot say enough good things about my recent car buying experience here. I was in need of a good, reliable car and since my husband was very happy with this dealership, I decided to go here. We met with Bryan and he was fantastic from the start. I was interested in the Veloster and test drove a new one but ultimately decided upon a used 2017 with very low mileage. It was like I had purchased a new car (734 miles on it) but at a much lower price. Bryan kept me updated on the registration process since I purchased later on a Friday afternoon. It took some time but Bryan was on top of it! We since needed some additional help registering my husband's car from another state and Bryan was instrumental in that too. He always has a smile and is willing to help whenever possible. I would highly recommend this dealership. Everyone there is pleasant and they make you feel valued, not like just another customer.

And I went service center in St. Louis service center I didn't get enough service and service cost also high. Finally I return back to Road Island and immediately went to the First hyundai service center. I completed my service i felt something different in my car . It's excellent service. First Hyundai is the worst around. They lie to you and scam you on prices! I will never buy another Hyundai as long as I live. They are junk cars and the people who sell them are awful. As for service, most people are polite and courteous, however, this most recent trip, the gentlemen that "helped" me couldn't get us out of there fast enough and didn't even bother to have the mechanics check on something I asked them to. When I asked him about it, he lied right to my face. I only bring my car there for service when there is a recall, everything else, I take it elsewhere. First Hyundai doesn't deserve a penny of my money.

The sales associate was extremely good, filling out the paperwork and taking a test ride and seeing the car was extremely good. However if you are in a rush to get a car this is not the place to go. They are in no rush to get you the car. However, if you are not in a rush in getting a car I would recommend this place.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Service department can't seem to call customers back and put them on hold for 45+ minutes. BRAD is a horrible service agent avoid him at all cost. You will know no information on your vehicle as he will not call you. NOTHING BUT ISSUES SINCE I BOUGHT MY VEHICLE FROM HERE IN JULY. Extremely disappointed, only will deal with GMC dealerships from now on.

Had a great experience at First Hyundai with Chris Young. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the inventory on hand. I wanted to test drive a Kona and a Tucson, and he had both ready for me as soon as I got to the dealership. He was very clear about my options and worked with me to make a deal we were both comfortable with. Even after the sale was made, he kept in touch and made sure everything was going smoothly during my processing with finance and my insurance company. I'd highly recommend anyone visit First Hyundai if you're in the market for a car and ask for Chris!
The vehicle I wanted was very difficult to find in this area, since it was manual transmission. In my own search, I was able to locate only 1 in a 25 mile radius, at a different dealership with whom I was not comfortable.
First Hyundai promised that they could find the car I wanted, and guaranteed me a price for it (with me leaving a small good faith deposit - very reasonable). They advised that it could take a couple days to get the car in, so they gave me a loaner to use in the meantime. The salesman then came in the following day - his day off - to go to Connecticut to pick up the car.
Once the car was on the lot I came in, completed the paperwork, and was out in almost no time in my new car. The price hadn't mysteriously changed like at other dealerships, there were no new "fees" added in, nothing. The price was exactly what was agreed upon, and the financing was completed without incident.
THIS is what car buying should be like! By far this was the most pleasant experience I've ever had when buying a car, and based on this I will be coming back for ALL of my future car-buying needs.
My experience this time around is not good with this dealers service center I brought my 2011 Hyundai Elantra in because it keeps making a wind or humming noise when the ac is on ,or off and when I start the car in the mornings , or whenever driving. They said it was the ac compresser and supposedly fixed it but then two weeks later I brought it back for the same thing and they did the same thing and the car is still doing the same thing. the service manager tried saying it's something it will do with the ac on which doesn't sound right at all because to me because it never did it before sounds crazy for a car to make a noise like that and when I tried contacting customer relations -Jen she still hasn't got back to me and I've emailed and called which is very unprofessional because I'm sure she can see messages not happy at all with my cars service.
Service done at First Hyundai part of the First Family. Very professional just a bit disappointed that I was there 2 hours for an oil change with a Wait Appointment. Hopefully next one won t be so long.

This place is an absolute joke and have the audacity to brag about their 5 star reviews...HAHAHAA! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have literally called the dealership 7 times in 4 months because we STILL have not received the registration for our vehicle. 4 MONTHS! I Left 3 messages and 2 texts for salesman James Clanton (told me a week ago that he'd "call me back in 10 minutes") and another 2 messages left with the extremely unfriendly receptionist and never received a call back. Also, in the middle of our vehicle negotiations, James took not one but two personal phone calls. How professional! They called us 3 times a week when the lease was almost up but after we bought the car and they got out money, that's when the customer service ended. Save yourself the aggravation and lack of customer service and shop elsewhere!

Absolutely great experience!! Awesome, friendly, non pressure environment! One of the smoothest purchases I've ever made at a dealership. My sales person Mark Calzo very patiently took the time and go over all my options with me, as I was very back and forth between a Sonata and a Tucson. Also he really went to bat for me to help get me to a comfortable monthly payment. One of the sales managers Mateo also came over to sit with me and go over all the numbers and gave me the best price possible on my new lease AND took care of my last three payments on my last lease. All my financing went quickly and smoothly. A GREAT plus was the free First For Life Program. My new fully loaded Tucson Limited was ready for me the next morning. Needless to say I would recommend First Hyundai to all my friends and family! A+++ to the whole team on the awesome experience!!

A representative from the dealership came right out to greet us and set us up with a sales associate, Matt Sweeney. Matt was courteous, professional and a good conversationalist to boot. He explained the features of the car very well and was very knowledgeable about the product he was selling. The other people at the dealership were also very friendly and helpful and the finance representative was quick without sacrificing customer service and explanation of the added benefit packages. Great dealership. We even got free water.
I recently explored this dealership to purchase a vehicle and I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. I had nothing but a negative experience at this location. First, I live quite far from this dealership and found the vehicle on car gurus for sale. I decided I would try it out and take a risk as I needed a new vehicle ASAP. I was given the run around about each vehicle and told I was not able to hold vehicles or put down a deposit. I agreed to return the next day, after approved for financing through my own institution with money in hand, to purchase the vehicle I was interested in the next day. Now, this is TWO times I traveled to this location and when I arrived Derek, the salesman, simply stated "sorry, it's sold." By this point, I am frustrated and upset at the lack of courtesy and customer service skills any of these individuals have which is shocking they are even employed in a customer service field. After, Derek tries to sell me another car along the apparent GM Anthony without wanting to negotiate. I was never told the truth about what happened to the other vehicle and was told multiple conflicting stories that it was either sold or on deposit or maybe it disappeared? Who knows. In the end, I DID NOT and WILL not purchase a vehicle from this organization because the general manager thought it was appropriate to treat a young woman with disrespect and raise his voice at me. Then, Derek proceeded to say "that is the reason he sits behind the desk because he's not good with customers." Bottom line: if you are in sales and working with the public, you better know how to treat customers with respect. PERIOD!
I dropped my 2015 Hyundai Elantra off for service the beginning of November. I needed to buy new tires put on my car as well as an oil change and an inspection sticker. I was away at a training for my job November 5th-9th and was told I would be called when my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I get back from my training and still no call. 2 weeks go by and still no call. Now we are in December and finally today I get a call saying my car has been done and they need the loaner back. They offered to have my car driven to me and they would take the loaner back since I couldn't leave work. I go out to look at my car and there is a HUGE DENT ON MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR that was NOT THERE when I had dropped my car off. I called the service manager and told him I am not taking my car in that condition and that is completely unacceptable. He told me if I don't send the loaner back that he is going to call the police.
I haven t even gotten to the best part yet. My sons father is the general sales manager of the dealership. Anthony Coccia. That s how the dealership treats the mother of a managers son. Imagine how they ll treat a random customer who means nothing to them. Good luck.
First Hyundai service is second to none. Very reliable, professional and competent. They fixed a highly technical issue in my 2016 Sonata that another dealer couldn't deal with. Also lined up a loaner car very quick & efficient. Tiffany - one of their advisors - was great to deal with and sharp.

I havent had the best experience. A couple months ago i tried calling to tell them that they had my husbands information down for the contact person. They never called back. Then I called to make an appointment, i had to call back to change it due to a schedule issue, and they never changed the time. Kept it as the original time. Then my husband gets there on time and they didnt take the car in until 45 min later. I was told by the dealer that we would have 1 free detail a year. I said this to the manager and they were like NO we dont offer that who said that to you. I told them my dealer did and they proceed to say well they are no longer here we dont offer that. Overall not very pleasant with the service so far.

I had a wonderful experience at First Hyundai. I had done some shopping at other Hyundai dealerships and to be honest, the experience that I had at First Hyundai was above and beyond what anyone else provided me. This was my first time as a single mother purchasing a newer vehicle on my own, and Joe, my sales rep and Rob, my finance rep, both made me feel very welcome and were incredibly helpful and encouraging. The service was fast, where I waited for hours at other dealers, and most of all, they were understanding and even happy to have a little 8 year old tagging along with me, which I appreciated. There was no condescending nature or "down-talk" to someone that had little experience with this type of transaction. They walked me through everything and gave me options that would work best for me, rather than telling me that this is what I had to pay, like some other dealers. Plus their warranties are wonderful! As someone who works in the automotive field and having heard the horror stories that some dealers put people through, I can honestly say that I am pleasantly surprised how wonderful my experience was. I would recommend this dealer to anyone.
The only thing negative is in how long it took to change the oil for my appointment...2+ hours. I was treated with courtesy and she tried to find out why it took so long and when I would get my car.

I was looking to buy a new car and decided to go with a 2016 Sonata. I first decided to go to Empire Hyundai in Fall River and had the worst experience you can have while buying a car and I was going to give up buying a new car until I called First Hyundai. As soon as I walked in everyone was friendly. Jamil was very helpful and assured me everything would be ok. It was like buying something from a friend who wanted the best deal for me. I was driving my new car that very night, no games or gimmicks. I would definitely recommend anyone who's looking for a new car to definitely come here, you won't regret it!
If I could give this dealership a negative I would. I have never encounter such horrendous customer service in my life. My husband and I live in Long Island, when we found a car at this dealership we called to inquire. After extensive conversations with Hannah we were promised the car was immaculate and that if we took the drive they would swap the plates from our trade in to the new vehicle. We were also told our numbers we reasonable, we should come in they would be happy to work this us and make the sale happen. After my husband took the 4.5 hour drive he was greeted by Hannah who wasn't even the sales associate, the car was not immaculate, they were not willing to work with my husband on the numbers and the best part they couldn't transfer the plates he would have to make a second trip. Needless to say my husband left extremely upset and disappointed with how he was treated. I called the owner Joseph Ruggiero at extension 1001 to inform him of the experience we had at his dealership. After leaving multiple messages I received a call back from Matteo that explained he was calling on Joseph behalf and wanted to rectify the situation. I was happy someone was willing to help and understood our frustrations. Turns out that wasn't the case, after many disappointing phone calls with Matteo of misinformation I was passed to Anthony. After many phone calls with Anthony, my husband and I tried to make an appointment to sit down with Anthony to make one last and final attempt to purchase the vehicle. He explained he would be available at 6 when my husband and I where home from work. I called to speak with him, I explained I had an appointment and I was told " sorry he is very busy he is with other customers". The follow through and integrity of this dealership is non existent and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, ever. I'm still waiting for the owner Joesph Ruggiero to call me back regarding my experience.

The service department here is horrible and untrustworthy. I bought my vehicle within the last 6 months- I have brought my vehicle in multiple times for their first for life package that they recommend and discovered myself, that my tires were completely bald, only on the center-inside tread which is caused from over inflation of the tires. All my service has been done at first Hyundai and only they have serviced the car/tires. After contacting them and bringing the car back in to be viewed they declined any type of services to the tires and states that it is my responsibility to replace all 4 tires. I also asked why the service department did not bring this to my attention at any point when I had package #3 done (less than 2 weeks ago) and they are suppose to balance and rotate all the tires. The attention to detail at first Hyundai is lack luster. After I had my package #3 and brought the vehicle back in to be looked at due to the vehicle pulling to the right after they aligned it two weeks prior, they also indicated my oil may need to be looked at by checking the condition as yellow . The oil got changed 2 weeks ago.
The manager has not responded to me or contacted me in any way after making attempts to speak with him.
